+Kevin Oper looking for this
+Kevin Oper You da real MVP
+Kevin Oper Thank you dude
👍
I was the lucky lady with the missing wallet @ 44:32. Thanks Matt and the gentleman who found it.
+yomi #noh
+Rod Haven You :D
+yomi you should have least givin him some nookie for returning it...geez
Me and my mate Pete found 2 Rush tickets on the floor at a convention on their 40th tour in Birmingham,England..returned them of course to the owners..Pete got on stage to announce it and we got a round of applause lol
Oh my god i didn't think the new songs would sound this good and this close to the actual recording live. All naysayers that were calling matt out for using Autotune bow down and apologize motherfuckers because this is his real voice.
+Giruga x Hakusho Trivium is highly against autotune as am I. And, people didn't realize, just because Silence in the Snow doesn't have scream vocals, doesn't mean the other songs live won't. I love that they played Like Light to Flies.
+Giruga x Hakusho Matt don't use autotune, his voice have an autotune feature so he's a fucking good singer and screamer/growler.
RATRIMOARIVONY Toky Yeah i never doubted that but people were constantly saying that he used Autotune and this just proves them wrong.
+Giruga x Hakusho I always figured it was the David Draiman thing that added a bit to his voice since Disturbed also has that style of vocals that sort of sound autotuned but aren't.
because the amps they use are identical to the record
i like how madiro plays drums
Yeah he was 10 times better than Nick. Nick ruined 2 albums. Especially Vengence falls
@@pejmanebrahimyan1721 you're being way too harsh. He wasn't that bad
@@pejmanebrahimyan1721 that has to be sarcasm... madiro can't even play the fast stuff, look at their setlist, all low tempo songs compared to trivium overall speed
Matt's vocal performance on Until the world goes cold is phenomenal!!
Wow what a close up intimate marvelous show from one of the best metal bands on the planet. I would have loved to have been there!
Paulo is so fucking good. holy shit.
damn paolo's vocals on blind leading the blind are amazing
They should play smaller venues more often.
+Manuel Avila they would earn less money and the tickets would be sold out really fast, so i dont think they will do that (but it would be really awesome if they did) ^.^
+Thomas sattler they are playing a small club in Syracuse this weekend 👍
They should be playing arenas by now
+Alex Farrell so true
Alex Farrell They are playing at arenas now, they still like doing small settings to never forget where they came from
People criticize Trivium for using auto tune and too much technology and stuff in their new album, I see them just as good singing live. Haters gonna hate, I guess.
I don't know a single person who had ever said this.
this band is pure gold
I really can't die without seeing these awesome guys live at least once. I really can't.
How jealous I am of this crowd LOL
Corey is seriously one of the best metal dudes out there like seriously, he's so under appreciated. Paolo is an amazing bassist, Mat caught up quickly and damn can he drum and Matt is an amazing vocalist. Trivium is one of the most under rates metal bands ever. They're so amazing
I love how you can tell they're having fun playing this stuff. They're not too into the "angry" metal musician thing to not also look like they're enjoying themselves.
Becoming the Dragon is and will allways be your best live song. Its so fucking incredible!!!
Trivium honestly just keep getting better and better! I feel this is one of their strongest live performances ever in my opinion, and Silence in the snow will be amazing!! Die hard fan since 2008!
This was awesome, cant wait for the album.
so stoked to see them in March 👌 \m/
Awesome!!!
Talk about an intimate show. Thanks for posting it.
I love how this band keeps it old school with the small close up shows. very cool
Awesome show in awesome quality!
such a good quality, much wow. thanks
love the crowd at the start of in waves, sends a shiver down my spine
Now this is a show I would love to be at. Right next to the band, no barriers and the crowd signing along loud in such a small venue!
Man this looked incredible, i would have loved to have been there, the UK calls for this!
Thanks so much for this one ;)
Can't wait for them to come to my town!
I was at this show. It was so awesome having them play such a small venue.
I love this performance. I remember when silence came out it was my first release as a fan and I loved it just not as much as the others but the hate they got at the time was absolutely insane all of a sudden apparently they sucked since shogun and they’ll be butt rock and Matt can’t sing. Through it all they kept grinding, rebuilding and blowing people away live all simultaneously for years. Look at them today, three metal masterclasses in a row and going better than ever. Truly admirable
My favorite part is the fact that people call Trivium "sellouts" because they've gone with a softer sound lately, when, unlike some bands (All That Remains (who I actually still somewhat like), In Flames, and quite a few others who I haven't ever really listened to) they play their heavier songs live, as WELL as their softer songs. They haven't forgotten where they started. What got them noticed. They just want to experiment.
+Evil Toad If they keep making the same music, people are going to get bored and they're going to get bored playing it. I love that they change their sound and direction every album. Its, something you rarely see. The amazing thing is, they sound really good every time.
+cbmetalgod88 Agreed. 100% man
I don't even think their new album is softer either. I think it's still pretty heavy, just without the harsh vocals. It is called heavy metal for a reason. But just my opinion. Glad they're still making music.
+Evil Toad I know this comment is 5 months old, but I too want to say they havent sold out. Some albums have a lot of harsh vocals, some dont. This one just doesnt include it and I think it's just fine. Its equal to all the other albums.
They already said the next album will bring back the screaming
This is an exceptionally great band.
What an excellent song is "Blind leading the blind".
Would love to see them at a venue like this.
That was a KILLER SHOW!! They should come to NYC and do small shows more often!
awesome show !! the killed it! mat is a fucking beast on the drums. and the bass solo on becoming the dragon is insane
Mat's drumming is so good. Hard and to the point!
wasnt sure about this new drummer until i recently saw them live i am impressed hes pretty solid drummer! they were AWESOME!
Can't wait for the San Antonio show!
I just saw these guys on Oct. 12 and holy fuck were they epic!!
The show last night was amazingly fun and I think the last time I saw them in such a small venue was back in '08 at Toad's Place. These small shows are almost always more fun to me.
Come to Seattle! We fucking LOVE trivium here..
so effin good!!!!! Cant wait till they come to Utah!!!
When the whole crowd screamed PULL! at 25:39 was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I wish I lived in New York now so I could have seen this show.
THIS IS GOLD!
Fucking Amazing
awesome !!!!
Am gonna have miss this guys here in Salt Lake.... stupid accounting class!!!!

If you guys are complaining about Matt's scream, you clearly haven't listened to like 90% of the songs here.
He is screaming, but his default is a sort of "up and over" scream, one that doesn't take much strain to produce however doesn't have a lot of body to it. He does plenty of lows and mids in this that you can hear very, very clearly ("Down from the Sky" has some incredible ones).
The reason some of them aren't able to be heard is because a) they were muting the mics so that feedback was less of an issue, but didn't expect him to get back on and start singing right after he turned away or something (see Paolo) and b) his up and over screams get lost in the mix very easily; Madiro's cymbals end up drowning out most of his scream.
Fuck Yes!
killer set
Can't wait to see them here at Mexico.
I like these guys, first heard them on the Music Choice metal cable channel and looked up their stuff - a nice band - helps to have a good singer like they do, growling metal vocals are fine but to hear the words like this is even better!
I would like to view Trivium in a bar like this !!
silence in the snow is great song!
I love how a Trivium live show has four or five bands' worth of stylistic range.
new drummer is spot on, like him a ton, reminds me of Travis's style more. :)
Until the world goes cold sounded great.
The Dio t shirt will not go unnoticed:)) matt is awesome
becoming the dragon was so epic! omg
I love Alex. He is easily the best Trivium has had on drums. But I miss Mat alot too. Really liked this lad. Wish he had stayed till Alex came in 2017
"I miss you Nick" That was my only thought when I saw this D:
Best CD since Ascendency\m/
awesome corey is a fucking machine \m/
When Matt started singing "Becoming the Dragon", I instantly thought it was Micheal Poulsen from Volbeat.
A Dio shirt in New York. Good work Matt.
wooooooohoooooooooooooooooooo... awesome ^^
matts voice really becoming alot better now
Best metal band ever.
lol paolos bass solo in dragon just like killed my speakers
Corey scream kick ass
!!
blind leading the blind is easily one of the best songs they've ever written
49:00 - "I fucked up the words, I just realised, because I was worried about that crowdsurfer" #GoodGuyMatt
They should have released an official DVD from 09-12 era.
Now, RIP Trivium live.
+douctor Chapman studios? And, before I forget, fuck you, they are great as ever, even better than before.
+Arthur. Florence Uow, gonna cry? Chapman Studios is great, but I was talking bout a real live concert. There are only a few bootlegs. And hey, just see that and tell me again they're better now:
watch?v=Y_d0YSCv67M
+douctor I just wish Matt would commit to his screaming voice, that's basically what made the band it is today and is the sound of its heaviness. I'm a long time Trivium fan since Embers and have seen them live in small shitty venues back in the day. I would say Matt's scream is certainly unique and pairs with the music well. But I get it, he wants to sing, he only tells us every fucking time there's an interview or whatever. I just wish he would do both live. Corey sounds find, but his screaming voice doesn't add to their live sound. Matt's scream sounds like he's screaming at someone before he kills them, that's what I loved about it. There's a heaviness that gets lost in their live shows without Matt's scream. Looking at this older live, THAT was Trivium. I downloaded a leaked copy of their new album and it unfortunately sounds like All That Remains now. The technicality is gone, the screams are gone (I think, I haven't listened to it all the way through), and it's just radio metal now.
***** That's where you're wrong. Whether you like the album or not is another story but it is nothing like radio rock/radio metal you hear with all that remains among others. It takes more influence from Iron maiden and bands from that old school heavy metal scene. And i personally think it is a fresh and good direction for trivium to go in. Granted i only heard the singles so far but if the rest of the album is just as good as the singles then it will be a worthwile listen for me.
Giruga x Hakusho
I guess I should rephrase what I said. In terms of songwriting, I think Trivium is better than recent All That Remains. But judging just by how Silence In The Snow as a whole sounds, objectively it's not a far cry from how ATR sounds today. Like I said, I've listened to a leak copy of the whole cd. The simplified riffs, the radio friendly sound, the layered vocals that resemble an auto tune sound. That's how they sound like ATR. I know Trivium aren't a band to repeat the sound of previous albums, but I think it's pretty evident they still want to be like Metallica in the sense that it sounds like they're making music that will appeal to everyone and not just metalheads.
That's not necessarily a bad thing, good for them. However, if we can compare them to Metallica, I think they're in the Black album/Load phase. They're transitioning their music from a unique sound to a more broad audience and in this transition, certain things will suffer, which is evident in the writing. I'm all for bands changing and evolving, but change isn't always successful and doesn't mean that any subsequent releases will be amazing just because they're trying something new.
I do like the new direction of Trivium, I just hope one day that they'll find the right formula of mixing both this new melodic sound and the screaming/growling heaviness of their old records.
This set was sped up quite a bit!
My favv album from Trivium is The VENGENCE FALLS but the last album i need listen more before send the comentz.
small shows are the best
Small venue shows will always beat huge outdoor venue shows, in my opinion🤘🏼
What did you record this with? The audio is super great sounding
Trivium back vocal is very good also. Few bands has nice back vocals like alexisonfire and atreyu.
1:07:38
when Joey Belladonna said "talking to you is like clapping with one hand," Matt felt that
cara In waves arrepiou.....
trivium rules
..i noticed Silence in the Snow seems has faster tempo than the album version, or my ears are just bleeding due to awesomeness.. :)
Trivium Live DVD soon I hope.
throes of perdition is such a good closing song. why would you choose in waves?
Who's the hip hop fan dude in the background hahah lol he's like I'm not into this music. Great upload btw
Are they allowed to play the end from rr United?
Mat plays Nick's drum parts better than Nick did
6:37 well done , sound guy
Blind Leading the Blind sounds so much better live!
the vocals sounds like someone recorded it with dixie cups and string
49:27 LOL hahaahahhaha
Madiro's like a machine - almost no feelings and programmed to play drums on precise timings.. lol
That's how the others in trivium like it otherwise you get booted lol
+ozzylaza I much preferred Madiro's playing style - little improvisation and precise. It keeps the band in rhythm...He nailed every show.
Lies Greed Misery nah i am not saying that his playing style sucks or something. I am just saying trivium as a band have a wierd relationship with their drummers. It almost feels like they are hired guns and you just get hacked if you starat beeing sloppy. But drumming is an exhausting physically most demanding thing in a metal band dont you rkn?
Volbeat 11:47
the red ranger is in the crowd :o
Fucking Kempers? Anyone know what they recorded the new album with?
EGG WHIIIIIITES
Даль фото не скинуть. У меня их росписи в золотой рамочке
..paolo doing some lead on his bass?
..he's badass....hahaha
The sound guy looks like David Cross😂
