❤ Great job. SERIOUSLY! I am in a rush doing spring cleaning job while on a Rover job. I'm in a rush, those others had me pulling my hair out... lol (anyone can cover a flat surface). This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
You made a beautiful cup. I’m poaching this ideas for a friend’s baby gift! Also there is a woman here on YT who made a template by wrapping the tumbler with scrap fabric, then cutting away away the excess leaving a template. I can’t find the video. It was so good.
I'm starting to work on this but I can't find answer to how long it take for the epoxy to dry so how long did you let dry the bottom part when you added the white glitter?
For epoxy method glitter application, I typically wait 2-3 hours for it to dry. For regular epoxy coats, it depends on the type of epoxy you use. Some brands/types will be slightly different. Times range from 2 hours for fast set to 12 hours for a regular epoxy.
This cup is absolutely beautiful and I know that your Mom is going to love it. The color scheme is gorgeous. How do you keep the glitter from getting on your no glitter portions of your cup during the epoxy process? Spraying with clear spary before epoxing?
Thank you so much! ❤️ Yes, exactly! I usually do a couple coats of clear spray before epoxying. You can also use Quick Coat from CCDIY to seal the sections of glitter individually
Thank you! I soak it in acetone. Wrap with paper towels and then pour the acetone, wrap the whole thing in foil, & let it sit for 24 hours. Everything just falls right off!
This is soooo pretty! I just got my first tumbler thingy and it holds two cups. I've never made a tumbler but I am into all sorts of arts and crafts so I may try to do one similar to this with all of the vinyl (or scrapbook/card making paper from my huge stash) to make one for my mom for Mother's day!
How long did this cup take to make. I’m having a cup made nothing like this but assuming same concept. I’m at 3 weeks. And waiting. “ I’m working on it big cups take longer”
Pretty, but Gingham was not a great choice for the bottom,it just looks messy and not thought out...I think the floral would have been less noticeable if not straight...Jmho..
OK that split cover up is GENIOUS!!!
I like how you put the glitter on the curved portion of the tumbler, tfs.
I wish I new how to do this. My husband bought a case of 20 oz tapered cup but not like the one you did on here and I LOVE THIS
Mama must have been so happy

Love it! What a fun way to add more interest to these. My customers love the 40oz traditional and 30oz modern curves so this is a great idea!
Thanks! Definitely adds a whole new world of possibilities! ☺️
Thank you so much for sharing this. Question: what type of vinyl is that? The website has so much to choose from.

@@madebymal_studio thank you so very much. I'm really struggling with that.
What brands of epoxy did you use?
How did you strip it? I have a few yetis that I would love to work with. You have some of the prettiest combos 😍
Thank you! I soak it in acetone. Wrap with paper towels and then pour the acetone, wrap the whole thing in foil, & let it sit for 24 hours. Everything just falls right off!
@@madebymal_studio thank you. I guess I didn’t realize that acetone would work for stripping the powder coating off the cups. I’ll try it.
It may take a couple times to get it off completely but it works for me! Also helps if you sand the powder coating to rough it up beforehand

Scrapbook paper is great to use on tumblers! Can't wait to see all the things you create!
How do you strip it
So so cute
Thank you 😊
What is the thing you lay your cup in with the measurements on each side? And where did you get it? Video was great. Love the cup.
Its from Amazon! Total game changer. Its linked in the description under my Amazon Favorites link 💖
Love this! Thank you so much
Such a femine combination. Beautifully created.

My cups have gotten ruined with hair color because I’m a hair dresser. I was looking for a solution.

too bad you didn't show how to wrap the entire tumbler with one piece of vinyl or fabric
Beautiful cup. I’m having a hard time hearing what you are saying tho
Oh no! I'm sorry about that!
