In today’s tutorial I am creating some cute summer inspired snowglobes using the double walled glass cans that are so popular right now. These will not yet be available on my website but will very soon in my next launch. I hope you enjoy today’s tutorial and of course leave any questions or comments below. -Decals and full 12 x 12 sheets for the decals on these cans were purchased from www.maestracreations.com under the pattern vinyl section. Make sure to select semi transparent for your 12x12 sheets (cactus print, strawberry sheet, watermelon popsicle, follow your dreams decal)

Love this idea so much! Without sealing them in epoxy, will those decals hold up to hand washing? That's my only concern. Could I deal with epoxy if I wanted to?

I get the cups filled up completely with no air bubble left by using a plastic pipette. It works perfectly because the tip on the pipette is small enough to get that tiny little air bubble that gets left over! 💕 Love your videos, personality and gorgeous cups ☺️

Haha 😂. I didnt show it in the video but I will probably be adding another light coat of UV resin over top of the ice lids just to make sure they are secured and don’t have spaces that mold could grow in between them!
I love these! Where did you get your stickers at and did you seal the stickers after applying to the cup?
Hi there! I got all my decals from maestra creations! For these cups I did not seal the stickers on but sealing with a coat of epoxy on this glassware is always an option!
Great video! Just what I needed today as I ordered 13 of these cups. I was wondering should I or not seal over the vinyl? I've been using g crystalac products for a few months
You can totally seal your cups if you wish to. I think using crystalac would be a great product to seal the vinyl on your cups for this style
Those are adorable. I haven’t tried the glass cans yet but have some to sublimate. Question though, do you feel confident about the decal staying on without epoxy over them?
Hi there! I’m pretty confident that the decals will stay for a long time as long as customers follow the care instructions provided. I always remind customers in my care cares to gentle hand wash only and not use any abrasive cleaners OR scrub pads.
These are also perfectly find to epoxy over should you choose too for the added protection!

Nope no sealing of the decals they are waterproof so as long as the customers gentle hand wash they should last a long time!

Hi! I like a lot your content! I have a question. I’m new at area and I was wondering what kind is that product you are using for this kind of sticker? I was looking for I kind the paper that I can use and be waterproof … do you have anything to help me ? Some I would like to use stickers but I can really find i paper material or whatever to print and be waterproofing thank you
Hi there! So these are just decals I purchased from a vendor I don’t actually make the stickers but you could use Avery clear sticker paper and get similar results may not be as vibrant since most printers can’t print white ink but the quality of that paper is great

Could,would you epoxy over these? I would be worried about the decals coming off.
Hi there! Yes you can certainly epoxy over them. I work with glass often usually with wine glasses and they are perfect to put epoxy over to help seal those decals in even more
Is there another place where I can purchase the decals because they are not available on the maestra site
Unfortunately she has recently stopped selling glitter and vinyl. Some other companies to check out would be Alana’s gift shop or create by firefly for decals similar to these!

I like to use liquid fushion to adhere my stones

You can use glass tumblers in a heat press as long as they are coated for sublimation these ones were not but many are
I end up with some air bubbles but I honestly don’t think I care lmao.
Maybe that means it is too late and I should stop and take a break
There is no problem with a few air bubbles! I have a few mugs that no matter what I do I cannot get filled fully and ya know what it’s just how it’s gonna be lol
How do you wash the tops? Is it safe? I know people will ask me 😊
Yep you can wash them, hand wash just like the cup and set to dry.
you don't put epoxy or anything over the decals? Or did I miss something?
For these I did not because the decals I used are permanent decals. You can though epoxy over glass should you wish to !
What size rhinestone did you used?
For these I used size ss20
Do you have to use UV light?
I recommend UV resin to seal the bottom quickly. You could use regular resin I suppose but I would encourage using a plug of some sort so the resin doesn’t fall through the hole if going that route!
Are the glitter chunky mix or medium / fine cut?
3 of 4 were chunky the blue glitter was more of a medium chunky cut

How much glitter u use would u say maybe a full cup of a medicine cup
For these since they are only 12 oz I did a little over half of a medicine cup probably the 20ml mark on a medicine cup of glitter

Do these cups come pre drilled?
Yes these come predrilled so all you have to do is add your glitter, solution and seal!
