Thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed. My cup looks nice, but there's glitter stuck both on top and bottom. There is still nice a snowglobe effect but it could be better. I was convinced that the glitter was just too thick on the edges of the cup as there's not a single air bubble in there. I will take it apart and try to bang out those glitter clumps😅 Thank you!!!
Happy to help! It may also be that there's too much fine glitter in your mixture. Some people try and avoid fine glitter altogether... I just try and find a healthy balance 🤪
Your cup is absolutely beautiful. I'm so frustrated I'm ready to throw mine out the window lol. No matter how hard I try to fill it to the top it keeps running over and will not fill. I've also tried shaking it really hard to get the glitter loose and it's not budging. 😭Not sure what else to do.
So mine isn’t getting stuck at the rim but at the bottom of the cup. When I turn it upside down the glitter floats up so it’s hard to add more solution.
I bought some tumblers from hobby lobby and the seal around the rim of the cups leaked on all of them.. I tried to use uv resin to seal the rim, it didn't show signs of leaking anymore got put a little fluid then glitter and the rest of the fluid.. my tumblers have sat for almost 24-36 hours but the bubbles are still there and won't disappear.. am I doing something wrong?
I just finished one and having the same issue. I used water and glycerin mixture and thought the flow of my glitter was due to me not adding clear glue. This helps a lot.
I’ve had a few of mine that evaporated out after they were sealed. There was no sign of leaks at all. Is there a reason they would evaporate if there is no leak and they are sealed?
If your glitter isn’t completely saturated before sealing the tumbler the glitter will slowly absorb the fluid… leading to the appearance of less fluid in the cup. If that makes sense.
are you able to help me? i am degassing my tumbler right now but at the top it looks almost frothy and foamy??? is it just that many micro bubbles that need to go away? i used the water and glycerine mixture and this has never happened before.
Use whatever works for you. I use a combo of glycerin, glue and distilled water 🤷🏽♀️ Snow Globe Tumbler Tutorial with Glycerin and Clear Glue ruclips.net/video/20AFuBtP8rU/видео.html
@@quatechiacreates and how do you determine how much glitter, etc to use? And do you ever put heavier items like pearls and small rhinestones in the solution???
When the customer gets the tumbler and it has rested in say a cabinet for awhile, will it separate like that? They’ll always need to shake it to get the snow globe effect??
Yes, they'll always have to shake it to get it going. The thicker or slower the flow... the more aggressive they'll have to be to get it going. Hope that helps
Thank you for the video, it was very helpful. I have a question though. My glitter is sticking to the front of the tumbler. Do you think I just need to degas it a little longer ? Thanks
No problem! Does it always stay stuck to the front? Or does it move when shaken but settles back to the front? I’ve experienced glitter settling on the sides and front when I use fine glitter.
Does anyone have any tips on how to make sure the permanent vinyl doesn’t lift? I clean the snow globe tumbler with alcohol and let it dry before placing the vinyl but I still find some letters trying to lift. Please help! 😢
If your acrylic tumbler is clean, oil and lint free and you’re still getting lifting of your letters… it could be the vinyl? All permanent vinyl is not created equally. I use the brands Oracal and Cricut.
I use my heat gun and heat for about 10-15 seconds waving it back and forth. Making sure not to leave it in one spot for two long. Press my vinyl down in place and have never had a issue.

Awe thank you! I’ll give those glue sticks a try when I’m out of glue dots 🤞🏾
I am so glad I found this, having trouble with not get enough solution in it and now I can unseal them and start over. Thank you so much!
Happy to help!!

Thank you sooooooooo much for this tutorial!!!!!!! this answered alot of questions that I had :)
Happy to help! 😊
Very helpful info - thank you! :)
You're so welcome! 😊
Hola. Saludos.. Es por eso que el liquido se sale por la parte de arriba? Por la cantidad de glitter alli atascados?. Gracias
If glitter is coming out the top, your cup has a broken seal.
Hi! Where can I find the precision tip bottles?
Hi! Here’s the link amzn.to/3I97axQ
@Quatechia Creates thank you so much! I'm glad I found your channel!

You're not alone! It takes a little patience and practice to get it right. 💕
So mine isn’t getting stuck at the rim but at the bottom of the cup. When I turn it upside down the glitter floats up so it’s hard to add more solution.
Have you tried using the small bottles with the precision tip to add fluid towards the end? It really helps push past the glitter that floats up.

Honestly, I don’t recommend working with tumblers that have broken seals. I have trust issues
I just finished one and having the same issue. I used water and glycerin mixture and thought the flow of my glitter was due to me not adding clear glue. This helps a lot.
Happy to help!! 🥰
My snow globes have been clumping like this. I think my glitter is too fine. Thank you for the video! 🙏🏼👍👍👍
You’re so welcome! Hope it helps!
Love your explanation. Where do you buy the tumblers? Thanks
Happy to help! The authentic Starbucks tumblers can only be purchased from Starbucks. I went into a local location
Any advice on how to repair a STORE bought tumbler that iced coffee somehow mixed in with the snow globe liquid?

What soultion do you recommend? because i use baby oil and how much water and how much oil should i use?

Thank you, I have like 4 tumblers I can now try to redo 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I wanted to ask you when you apply the in lamp do you hold it over the cup?
Sometimes I hold it. Most of the time I prop it on boxes
What solution do you use for slow movements?
I use a combo of vegetable glycerin, clear glue and distilled water
@@quatechiacreates and how do you determine how much glitter, etc to use? And do you ever put heavier items like pearls and small rhinestones in the solution???
Is chunky better then fine glitter
In my opinion? Yes, fine glitter is more commonly known to clump
Can you fix tiny holes around the lip ? Lid area? 😢
No, sorry! Sounds like you have a broken seal on your cup. 😬

I completely degassed mine but my glitter still won’t budge correctly. ☹️ any ideas?
Let’s see 🤔… What solution did you use? What did you do to completely degas it?
I poke two holes. One to pour stuff in and one small hole for air
Yea, I do the same now. This was one of the first ones I completed so it only had one hole.
I'm using chunky glitter and it's getting stuck not flowing evenly. I used Glycerin and distilled water. Followed all of the tips. 🤷🏻♀️
Oh no! Could it be a chunky mix? The fine glitter in chunky mixes is usually the culprit.

Check THE RHINESTONE WORLD for a product called COLOR SPARK VINYL SHIELD, hope that helps you

I can never get these cups right 🥲 but this video gives me hope ❤
You got this!
