Hi!!! I love your tumbler ❤... may I ask you if you sprayed the clear coat on the gold glitter you may got some of the clear coat the thite area right? Did you added the paint on top of it? Or clean it before adding the black paint?
I honestly don't know what the exact process was this video is quite old but I have never "cleaned up" a clear coat in between layers so I do know that wasnt it.
I want to try and do this cup but I can't see to find that particular sunflower vinyl on the website indicated in the information. Any ideas on where I can find something close to that vinyl print? Thanks in advance.
I am interested in starting out crafting with epoxy resin and I LOVE tumbler cups. Wht type of design would you suggest for beginners? And also what equipment did you use as far as holding and turning the tumbler goes?
All of my turners are from Amazon. I have retrofitted all of my arms to be interchangeable because I rotate so many around. Just decide where you want to start glitter ink Vinyl wraps etc. You need a turner , epoxy things to measure and mix, the PPE of your choosing I'd suggest a small torch and possibly a heat gun (embossing gun will do) and glitter ink Vinyl whatever you want to use spray paint to base coat even if you just start with just white. If you can print and cut your own decals great if not there's all kinds of resources I have lots of links in my video description. Be prepared to make mistakes and hand out cups as gifts for a little bit as you learn. Then watch several videos for whatever technique you want to tackle first and dive on in!

Where did you get that straight edge? I worked for printing companies for years and we used those exact ones, and I’ve been hunting trying to find one for my craft room.
From a flea market that hasn't been open again since before covid started 😢 they had a ton when I was there last and so many want them i wish they would open back up so I could buy any they had!

It's beautiful but my resin fish eyes Every time I try this. The spray you put on the glitter do you spray the entire cup including vinyl?
Just whatever gets oversprayed vinyl doesn't need sealing there's so many causes for fisheyes.
Can you tape on gold glitters and vynil to put the back glitter on? I am freaking messy and I know I would overlap.
You probably could I don't see any reason it wouldn't work

how do you not get lines in your glitter? i’ve done 3 coats of glitter and mod podge on my cup and i still have lines. it’s very frustrating. 😢
