This tutorial was calling my name!! I literally just ordered 5 sheets of this vinyl a few weeks ago but have been waiting to use it 🥰 now just waiting on my glitter from ghc! Thanks girly, Tara Hernandez

Hi - Love your tutorials, your cups are beautiful! I have a question, I was under the impression that a base coat of some sort … paint, BT, EP or whatever was required to provide protection from rust, but you said you put the vinyl on a cup that was not base coated -- so, we don’t have to base coat before vinyl?
Hi! You can paint it beforehand if needed. For me that was just an added step that didn't need to be done because I was going to be covering it up. It's still protected from elements because of the vinyl and then the BT on top of that.
Your final products are amazingly beautiful.💜💜 Thanks for sharing. Brite tone takes a lot of coats but i love love love the outcome. You do real great work.🙏🙏 Do you sell your tumblers??
Beautiful! You said you leave a small line of stainless steel with the vinyl, do you have to do that when it's all glittered as well? Like with epoxy you leave the small amount to create a seal, do you do that with Britetone also?
I know this is a silly question. But I’m trying to really learn from your recommendations on how to do less layers of BT. When you say you sprinkle your glitter high up from your cup could u give me an approximate measurement. It’s hard to tell with the camera angle how far away you are from the cup :). Thank u!!
thanks so much for this video. the cup is beautiful. I'm an epoxy user, and have Brite tone and am in the process of trying to learn how to use it. I don't have the glitter glue yet. If I use e6000 to seal, how long do I need to let it dry? I'd love to make a crystalac tumbler for myself so i can see how well it holds up before I start using it on customer cups.
This was such a great video!! How long did you wait to apply your glitter glue? Was it the full four hours to wait for the britetone to dry? Thank you for any help!
@@LaurenQuigleyCreations it keeps telling me it’s invalid both codes I tried. I’ve never ordered anything from the shop on Etsy before so this is my first time ordering as well.
Hi! 4-5 days after your last coat you can ship it out! They are good for light use around that time as well. Full cure time is 30 days although it will be hard before that time
I have a question about vinyl, I got some inkjet printable vinyl and printed a design then cut out a monogram for a tumbler. I put it on a white glitter that had brite tone layers, then added more brite tone. Came back and found the red ink seeped into the brite tone and glitter. Should I have sealed the printed vinyl with something?
hey! I am learning crystalac with the plans to do it in addition to epoxy. I tried out this tutorial but i can feel like a ridge/raised part between my vinyl and glitter. do you think maybe I went too thick on the glitter part?
It's possible! But I wouldn't let that discourage you! I would do a level sand over the glitter area only, then do another 2 coats of BT to help even that out 🥰
Hey quick question. A couple of years ago when I was looking into Crystalac… waiting 48 hrs after spray painting was a big thing. Is it still a thing? Or is there no wait time between Spray paint and brite tone?
Hi Chantel! If you look in the video description I have a link there but this one is from shopauntietay.com/collections/adhesive-vinyl?ref=zxCr5BS4Jewly You can use code LQ10 to save

Do you sell your tumblers??
Thank you so much!
Thank you. Great video. If I try to do this but I want to add a person’s name… during what step would I do that?
Hey hey! You can do that once the tumbler is smooth
Could I use modpodge glitter glue? I'm in Canada and can't find the crystalac glitter glue :(
For sealing? You can use a spray sealer! I wouldn't do mod podge right under Brite Tone
What kind of vinyl permanent…?
Beautiful!! Would we be able to do the glitter melt with UW+pigments? There’s a short of spray paint where I am located. TIA!
Absolutely!!
Beautiful work! I do have a question, is it necessary to spray paint the tumbler?
Not 100% necessary. Use a more metallic glitter if you don't want to paint the base 💕
Where did you get the black tumbler holder? It looks simple and doesn't take up room. I just heard you say it, lol
Chipped Builds! I have it linked in the description I believe 🥰
Beautiful! You said you leave a small line of stainless steel with the vinyl, do you have to do that when it's all glittered as well? Like with epoxy you leave the small amount to create a seal, do you do that with Britetone also?
I create a little natural lip up there. It's not the same as epoxy but i leave the lip there
i love how you don't have to use gloves and that nasty epoxy smell Brillant thanks so much i might be able to start doing tumblers again

Love this made me order to switch over from epoxy. I also went in to order glitter and your codes don’t work. Do you have updated codes?

Love this! How long do you have to wait after you spray paint to apply BT?
Approx 24-48hrs 💕💕
Good video. What do you call the Home Depot holders
I call them large wooden dowels...but I could be wrong haha!
What do you do the very top edge of the cup?
What is that little holder you’re using and where can I get one?!
My tumbler holder from Chipped Builds- tidd.ly/3nhll8L This tool is amazing!
Hi, how many days should I wait for the tumbler to heal and be able to use it?
Hi! 4-5 days after your last coat you can ship it out! They are good for light use around that time as well. Full cure time is 30 days although it will be hard before that time
Hi you don’t sand it at any point? Or the sanding is if you are going to use a decal?
Hey babe! I do sand to even out the brite tone 🙂
I have a question about vinyl, I got some inkjet printable vinyl and printed a design then cut out a monogram for a tumbler. I put it on a white glitter that had brite tone layers, then added more brite tone. Came back and found the red ink seeped into the brite tone and glitter. Yes with Brite Tone I always seal if I'm doing my own printable vinyl with an inkjet just to be safe
So you put 4 coats of thin crystal lac let dry two hours between coats, than sand 4th coat, than put another 4 coats after that?
Nope, they dry time is 4hrs in between coats of BT. It's very important to let them dry for the full 4 hrs minimum between coats.
hey! I am learning crystalac with the plans to do it in addition to epoxy. I tried out this tutorial but i can feel like a ridge/raised part between my vinyl and glitter. do you think maybe I went too thick on the glitter part?

I do a light sand to help even out layers about every 3-4 layers
Hey quick question. A couple of years ago when I was looking into Crystalac… waiting 48 hrs after spray painting was a big thing. Is it still a thing? Or is there no wait time between Spray paint and brite tone?
Hi! You still need to wait 💕 I usually wait 24hrs

Can you put this on acrylic tumblers? Is this dishwasher safe?
Not dishwasher safe but yes you can put it on a prepped acrylic tumbler 🥰
@@LaurenQuigleyCreations How do you prep an acrylic tumbler?
@@ale347baker hi! You would lightly sand with a high grip sandpaper around the tumbler and then wipe with alcohol
