I saw this movie with my mother. We were a bawl of tears throughout. I was moving half the country away the following week so this just hit very close to home. I am grown and she taught me everything I know. Ill survive and thrive because she and papa poured love into me.
I cried most of the film. I went with two of my best friends. one of them her family lives in a different country, I almost lost my mom 10 years ago to an aneurysm+stroke combo, and my other best friend lost her dad suddenly earlier this year. When Fink said at the end ”what if I want to tell you something and you’re not there?” We all started sobbing as we held onto each other. This film was beautiful.
My dad had cancer for 9 years , and he died last year , I was with him , till the , end . When i was holding his hand he said " squezz My hand " , i did , and he squezzed it back . also i am Adobted so when the robot becomes the mum , for bright beak so great film xoxoxo
I went and saw it by myself because none of my friends wanted to see a kids movie in theaters. I don’t regret it at all, it was such a great movie and a bit of a tear jerker. Might even consider seeing it twice.
@@VoodooRanja I go to movies alone for the same reasons sometimes. I’m 61 and had to convince a movie snob to see it. And he’s 72. He loved it. It’s a movie for everyone and important to see.
she lost her leg in the scuffle with the barracuda trying to eat brightbill. her foot got caught under water, that's why she couldn't go to him herself and had to throw her hand
Was lucky enough to see this in IMAX with my little one, his first IMAX. I'm amazed at how this movie savages me every time and how willing I am to go through it. It's impressive, love the artwork, and the emotional heft. I think also, in the context of the last decade, it just hits way harder to see a story that poses love, kindness, and cooperation in stark contrast to ever present death.
It's weird. While I admit I've done my fair share of tearing up in movies, I don't consider myself someone who easily cries when I watch something but damn, this movie had my eyes teary from like 30 minutes in til the very end. It's so sweet and beautiful that I couldn't stop my eyes from welling up. Amazing movie
Saw it in Dolby and I had no expectations, but by the end I was in tears. It was a beautifully animated story. I love when movies surprise you in the best ways especially if you’re going into it not knowing anything about it. If by the end you haven’t shed one tear, you may be a robot🤭 It’s just a shame that they didn’t have the foresight to leave this as strictly a theatrical release until the end of the year to make all the money as more and more people heard about it. 😢
Adored this movie :D Was so great having you share you all's love for it with us! It's been my new TV background and I can't get enough of the Kiss The Sky scene like you all :') Truly a classic for the ages of the era :)
I just saw this movie yesterday! It's one of the most amazing animated movies ever made, probably the best DreamWorks film too (at least next to the Dragons trilogy). This'll become a classic in the years to come
I cried three times watching this! It was so gorgeous! What a beautiful movie! The music, the characters, the acting, the animation! Everything was perfect! I loved it so much! 10-10!
@@TheKristianHarloff I didn’t think of it that way, but her reactions were priceless because I had those same reactions in the movie theater when I saw it. It’s a fantastic fantastic film. Have your kids read any of the books? I think there’s a three book series based upon that character
I've seen it twice in cinemas for some reason and both times I cried like a destroyed fire hydrant. 4 times each time. Never has an animation moved me so much. And I know that I will definitely come back to this film more than once.
Totally agree with Sam, everything related with parenthood, will brake us parents very easy. Our kids will be always first, and we will do anything we can for them. Always enjoy to see her reactions, so honest and straight.
There are those movies that everyone says are bad. But when you watch them, for the first two acts you go: "I don't know why everyone says this is bad." and then by the third act you go: "Ah, I get it.". "The Wild Robot" is the opposite and achieves the "I get it." moment by the second act.
first of all that ain't the opposite. second of all, u said so many words yet pretty much nothing. your point seems the be that the movie is bad and you got why it is bad by the second act. now explain how and why u came to this conclusion.
@@vanessaselina733 It is the opposite. I liked the movie. My point was that everyone said this movie is great, and for the first act I didn't get it, but by the second act I did. Which is the opposite of the first two sentences.
I related so much with a Robot as someone who babysitted his nephew for 2 and the half years. I still babysit him today jus not as much as those first 2 & The half years.
Me and the wife went into viewing this in cinema, only have seen a trailer half a year ago?, went into this... So glad we got to catch in the cinema... holy hell we were blown away. clear a top 3 movie of Dreamworks. Loved it.
I love watching movies with you both. Loved watching Logan, then Deadpool & Wolverine and now The Wild Robot. Has Sam watched the How To Train Your Dragon series? Because that one has a special place in my heart, I'd love to watch it with you guys
as an animation student I just feel like mentioning that a lot of ppl refer to the art style of something as animation, the animation is the movement of the scenes happening, not trying to sound like a smartass, just saying 😂also this video made me laugh, appreciated
Saw this movie 3 times in theaters and it’s absolutely amazing. Easily the best animated movie of the year and a front runner for best animated movie at the Oscars. The movie is so good that I honestly think it has a good chance at getting a best picture nomination depending on competition
They make a big emotional moment of Ros captured and her memories being taken... and then no. It's OK , her memories are intact. Why? Because! And then she's taken again. And the reason they wanted her was her memories but again they didn't take them.. Anyway good movie in the end but not great. Love the reactions though. You guys are great together. Love the jokes
Great animated film. I've seen people that have domesticated Oppossums. Also I'm not sure if this was the dialogue in the script, but the Beaver saying "keep your litter out of my pond, it's literring not to mention murdering," if that was a bit of environmental commentary that has to do with the world state in this movie with the cities being under water
Then you’ve come to the wrong channel. there are tons of people out there that just open their eyes and open their mouth and say whoa, if we crack jokes and still watch it, that’s the channel.
Watched it in cinema yesterday, and I must say Dreamworks rocks with these animations, having a goofy side but also teaching you such values and important feelings....truly magnificent..I'm a grow-ass man but had no shame for crying on this! ❤🔥🥹

I saw this movie today and it left me dehydrated.....there were a lot of onions inside the movie house. Best movie of the year!
I agree with you on this
I am 46. I have seen this twice now and I have cried both times!!! The fact that this didn't make a billion is a tragedy
This film NEEDS to be seen in a theater.
The animation was amazing. As was the cast and the story.
