  • Health concerns are a common issue for athletes, but for some, it turns into a complete nightmare. This was the case for Earl Campbell. He fell into a series of health problems, from crippling arthritis to foot drop. Pain became his constant companion, leading him to addiction to painkillers and eventually needing rehab. His health struggles made his life incredibly hard!

My Mom was one of his bigget fans. She had a friend whose husband worked for him. And when she told her about how she followed his play from Tyler Texas to the University of Texas and then on to the pros she actually told her husband about it. One day my mom callled me yelling, crying, super estactic because Mr. Campbell called her. She was so happy. She said that if she were to pass away at that moment she would be okay 😂. She passed years later. But my memories of being forced to wear everything Houston Oilers live with me. Thank You Mr. Campbell. You are indeed the Tyler Rose.
