How did you waterproof the bed? Have the same Leer cap and the way it is positioned doesn’t seem to cover the holes in the front side of the truck bed.
@@Outdoor.pixels Nice! Would like to see some pics or a video on that. I’m sure a lot of Taco’s with camper shells have that issue. How’s it holding up?
@@antonioromulodelcarmen283 I was going to make a video about it but I wasn’t sure it would work. You can look it up they have tons of videos of people using different stuff to seal it like spray foam and spray flex seal I tried it all the tape was the only thing that worked for me but it doesn’t look the best. When I get home I will probably replace the tape and make a video about it if I can remember
Still waiting for my Tacoma to come in , like your set up.and layout hopefully ill be doing the same or similar. Those caps are around $4000 with tax here, how does that compare to your area , if you don't mind answering
Heck yeah man and that’s basically how much mine was. I hope they changed the bed on the new ones so you don’t have to deal with the leaking like I did.
Grrat build!
Thanks!
That setup reminds me of the coffin racks we had on the ship. No waste of space
Nice! I can’t waste space on a small truck haha
How come you don’t sleep diagonally?
Because the bed only 5ft long and I’m 5’7 so I sleep at a angle to be able to stretch out
how long does the jackery power the fridge?
I’ve got a whole video about it
where at?

Hopefully I'm getting a 2023 and I don't want leaks lol.
Subscribed. One question. Can you sit up inside the topper? Have you by any chance measured from the floor to the ceiling?
Des
Nope and I’m pretty sure you can’t with a mid rise topper also. I think you have to get a high rise which to me are ugly.
