I think Flora's main thing should've been plants with limited geo kinesis, since she controls the earth aspect of nature but because of her delicate nature she finds it easier to use plant magic. Bloom should've been able to transform into a Dragon at some point

Well nature means almost everything natural in life, such as fire, sun, water, music, and weather (excluding her mainly plant based powers already). The writers obviously were terrible or just scared to tap into Flora's true potential.
My favourite spell was Musas season 2 "Power of Harmony spell" where she chanells the voices of her audience into a power ball of positive harmonic energy and sending Stormy into limbo with it xD

I adore season 1-4 spells in general. Season 4 Sophix convergence to restore the forest was one of my favourite convergence spells ever. It may look separate, but each spells comes together to help the forest.
@Will N I can literally say the same thing about the first 3 seasons as well like this is where im confused. There are plenty spells from S1-3 that has different name yet its a the same simple light ball animation and for a specific example Bloom will always throw a fire ball and change its name when its literally the same Also Flora will literally change the name to her vine grab move she had since s1. my point is this isn’t a new thing it’s recurring in every season but suddenly season 4 follows the same formula by reusing spells (even though EVERY season has the main set of repetitive spells or it will just be a orb animation) its a problem…?
Winx are amazing using the counter spell with the chant. "Let all the dark magic be reversed making eggs they were before they were cursed!" It's brilliant.
That moment when Bloom is an actual leader in Season 1 to 3/4. But later seasons just make her more of a stereotype of a leader rather than an actual leader.

My favourite convergence spell was the one the Winx cast in Magical Adventure when they were fighting the Trix. It was honestly so epic; all of the Winx's powers were swirling in a horizontal tornado with Bloom's Great Dragon passing through it. It literally gives me chills whenever I see it.
I really appreciate that 4Kids did fantastic about convergence especially incantation spell. Again I really want 4Kids voice actors back so bad. Fire Shield and Morphix Warrior are incredibly amazing.

Yes, it is called The Army of Decay. Its so iconic spell when they said. "When the screams of a thousands years are finally heard and the terror of the night erases day when the moons of above are consumed by shadow then the flames down below will cause doom to rain and creatures of the night will rise once again!" That is awesome!

I’m season 2 for the final fight vs Darkar there was also a Charmix-specific convergence spell that the Winx all use to banish Darkar. I think it was called “Harmony Overload” and it’s in S2 Ep26.
I agree! I loved they all transformed despite Stella and Leila still had their Charmix on. The song makes it magical, especially because its an upgraded version of the song, I’m a bit disappointed they never use it in S3.
There was this one power team-up, I don't think it counts as convergence, necessarily, was where Bloom ran away into the woods, and the rest of the Winx used their powers together to find her. Musa made a sonic pulse to detect Bloom and synchronized the information to Techna, Flora communicating with the trees to see if they saw her, and Stella creating an arrow of light to point to where Bloom was, like a compass. I think it must have been near the season 1 finale because I don't remember Aisha being there, and Bloom was the main target because of the dragon flame. I hope I'm remembering all that correctly.
Tbh their mystery of the abyss convergence spell to find a secret pathway underneath the pearl throne was so good. It was kinda like the advanced version of their first convergence test in the simulator.

I loved when their convergence was about to merge their powers creative way. Morphix warrior for example is one of my fafourites. They created it to figth from scratch. Modern converences? MEH. Of course they create "bigger" blast but I think it is not so creative. Nowadays they just flashing ligths around and then they wonder why their powers doesn't working. They have elemental powers, but sometimes it feels like they don't work elementally. Nothing seems to be fried up when Bloom "burn" something with her Dragon flame.
I know this idea may or may not be a big video but would you do a video on the winx color pallets and how much they changed throughout the series( for better or worse)

I wish we had more duo character archs referencing how when the Winx Split into pairs for the initial convergeance excersize to open the chest. Heck in season 2 they could have had a mini arch where the payoff would be the initial pairs succeeding in opening their respective chest after learning how to cooperate better. Maybe the chests could have had a prize inside that would foreshadow Charmix. To prove they are ready for their next stage of fairy development. If there was one thing that bugs me about western animated series its how the creators think 26 episodes at most qualifies as a full season. It does not. It just isn't, wasn't, and won't. Maybe if a show is starting out but when you know you have struck gold and plan on adding more characters, expand the episode count especially if there is clear as day evidence of abandoned archs If you stick to this episode count. Minimum requirement should be 52 episodes a season 1 episode every week similar to early digimon series. 45 at the very least which is the minimum amount of episodes a series like Precure (due to the pandemic) but never anything less. I understand that there is risk of pointless macguffin hunts and meandering until the plot starts back up but this is why they should be planning this shit before they get the scripts written. Planning the season which should include the archs needing to be covered then trying to figure out how to organize the damn season to accomodate. It sucks how a boss above the guy incharge of the respective season has to approve or deny the individual scripts before they can get started on the recording. Because with only 26 episodes at most the show is at risk of falling apart if just one idea is shot down. It is just infuriating to me. 45- 52 episodes you have wiggle room to at least modify the overall story around the change. It may not be enough still but it does grant more of a cushion if something goes wrong behind the scenes. Like realizing your deal with nickelodeon was terrible and maybe you should have worked with the company that tried suing you because both shows had red headed female protagonists with fairy like aesthetics, because even they would respect your property better than nick could.
See this where im starting to get annoyed... Winx fans trying not include S4 in the golden age Winx when S4 had good convergences just as the first 3 There was Bloom and Tecna's dragon energy and electric storm from 4x02 When the Winx converged their shields to get Nebula out of Roxy in 4x09 And my personal favorite is the Sophix convergence where they brought back life to the forest there's more examples but these were the ones off the top of my head put respect on S4 I know theres some good convergences in the Nick seasons too
should we count bloomix converege in the list it was an attempt but incomplete without bloom and their are time in this series that it blew up in the face.

@Will N I never watched the 4Kids version, so take my opinion with that in mind: Season 2’s writing was just lacking in a number of areas. For one, Darkar was a terrible villain. He’s supposed to be the antagonist driving the plot, but there are whole back-to-back episodes where he doesn’t even make an appearance, and he barely comes across as a threat compared to the Trix S1, Valtor, or the Black Circle. His origin story had the potential of making him Valtor level evil, worse even, but all he did was ramble on about the codex - something that never got fully explained in the end anyways. Like, I still don’t know what it actually was or what it was supposed to do other than be “powerful” and open a portal to some random canyon looking place. There was also the pixies. They were chill at first, but after a while they started getting on my nerves. They began making the show feel kiddy, and sometimes the season felt like, “on today’s adventures with the pixies.” Ngl, there are good episodes in Season 2. I LOVE the Hallowinx episode, for example, and it’s obviously important for the fact of us meeting Layla/Aisha, but overall, the plot as a whole, I just didn’t really care for it.

What episode was it the Winx created the morphix creature?
I wish we had more duo character archs referencing how when the Winx Split into pairs for the initial convergeance excersize to open the chest. Heck in season 2 they could have had a mini arch where the payoff would be the initial pairs succeeding in opening their respective chest after learning how to cooperate better. Maybe the chests could have had a prize inside that would foreshadow Charmix. To prove they are ready for their next stage of fairy development. If there was one thing that bugs me about western animated series its how the creators think 26 episodes at most qualifies as a full season. It does not. It just isn't, wasn't, and won't. Maybe if a show is starting out but when you know you have struck gold and plan on adding more characters, expand the episode count especially if there is clear as day evidence of abandoned archs If you stick to this episode count. Minimum requirement should be 52 episodes a season 1 episode every week similar to early digimon series. 45 at the very least which is the minimum amount of episodes a series like Precure (due to the pandemic) but never anything less. I understand that there is risk of pointless macguffin hunts and meandering until the plot starts back up but this is why they should be planning this shit before they get the scripts written. Planning the season which should include the archs needing to be covered then trying to figure out how to organize the damn season to accomodate. It sucks how a boss above the guy incharge of the respective season has to approve or deny the individual scripts before they can get started on the recording. Because with only 26 episodes at most the show is at risk of falling apart if just one idea is shot down. It is just infuriating to me. 45- 52 episodes you have wiggle room to at least modify the overall story around the change. It may not be enough still but it does grant more of a cushion if something goes wrong behind the scenes. Like realizing your deal with nickelodeon was terrible and maybe you should have worked with the company that tried suing you because both shows had red headed female protagonists with fairy like aesthetics, because even they would respect your property better than nick could.
I wish covergence was use for more than a big laser/ball the morphix warrior could have been made stronger.

There was Bloom and Tecna's dragon energy and electric storm from 4x02
When the Winx converged their shields to get Nebula out of Roxy in 4x09
And my personal favorite is the Sophix convergence where they brought back life to the forest
there's more examples but these were the ones off the top of my head put respect on S4 I know theres some good convergences in the Nick seasons too

@Will N I never watched the 4Kids version, so take my opinion with that in mind:
Season 2’s writing was just lacking in a number of areas. For one, Darkar was a terrible villain. He’s supposed to be the antagonist driving the plot, but there are whole back-to-back episodes where he doesn’t even make an appearance, and he barely comes across as a threat compared to the Trix S1, Valtor, or the Black Circle. His origin story had the potential of making him Valtor level evil, worse even, but all he did was ramble on about the codex - something that never got fully explained in the end anyways. Like, I still don’t know what it actually was or what it was supposed to do other than be “powerful” and open a portal to some random canyon looking place.
There was also the pixies. They were chill at first, but after a while they started getting on my nerves. They began making the show feel kiddy, and sometimes the season felt like, “on today’s adventures with the pixies.”
Ngl, there are good episodes in Season 2. I LOVE the Hallowinx episode, for example, and it’s obviously important for the fact of us meeting Layla/Aisha, but overall, the plot as a whole, I just didn’t really care for it.
