Thank you for sharing your calm birth story. Very inspired by your positive labour experience. My first two pregnancies & labours were filled with angst & worry. Third pregnancy was lovely and calm & resulted in a calm labour experience. I'm now pregnant with baby number 4.

Hi Rae! I'm so sorry the late reply - I've only just seen your comment. I put together a spotify playlist: open.spotify.com/playlist/4EElAzGxBz9yX7YMgsXvKm
I hope this gets to you in time!

I’m sorry, but why was your husband sleeping in while you were 39 weeks pregnant, in early labor, AND caring for your son? HE should be making breakfast for your son, not you. Seems kinda backwards to me.

I’d also like to highlight that every family dynamic and situation is different and your comment seems kinda backwards to me. My husband advocated and supported me through my labour. Communicated with hospital staff during and after my delivery so I could focus on labouring. My husband was my rock and your comment is extremely judgemental. Doing things like preparing breakfast for my son kept me busy and calm, rather than focused on contraction counting. You wouldn’t know this but my first labour was very long and stressful where my husband took three days off work while I stayed in early labour for over 48 hours concentrate on anything but contraction counting. So our family preference was to continue as if nothing was happening until our relatives could come pick up our son.
