Ramakrishna M Myself and my wife, both r diabetic, but mostly conyrolled. Recent blood tests showed high HBA1C and Very High B12 (>1550 for both) compared to six months back. We were on B vitamin supplements which we stopped immediately. My TSH is also high but T3,T4 and FT3,FT4 within normal range. Is it a serious problem? What other tests/ precautions should we take? Vitamin B12 or Cyanocobalamin is a water soluble vitamin. It used up in body quickly n any excess is excreted every day. So toxicity is impossible except a super mega dose is consumed. So the negative effects cited could be due to some other cause. I am an 83 y old pharmacist.

B12 is 781 pg/ml, Total WBC 9500,Abs lymphocyte 4370 /c.mm.My LFT is normal.what might be root cause?
Also RFT, LFT, Lipid profile, serum electrolytes and Haemotology parameters are normal for both of us. VitD is low.

I would strongly suggest you to see a Haematologist. If you are taking Vit. B12, stop taking.
High WBC count indicates high inflamation in your body. There is an issue in your body. Diabetes? BP?
