I used to think that fully walking with God would take out the fun in me or that it was a little boring. But I've now learned that it was deception from the enemy because what I thought was fast and fun made me restless and feeling unworthy every time I would go out partying and drinking. Now I can sit in silence reading the bible and genuinely enjoy my time with the Lord or go to church for fellowship and leave feeling so refreshed. Life with God is amazing , even when its hard. rather this than anything else .

So true! I used to feel the same and feel so drained trying to be cool in the worldly sense, now I'm reading the bible more, feeling energised and getting refreshed even after going to church or church events.

I just wanted to say I’m really grateful for you. I moved to a new city last fall and since then my faith has been really challenging trying to find a new church and meet other Christians has been harder than I thought. Your videos really help me to not give up in my faith and give me hope that God will bring this all together and to keep looking for Him despite being in a really hard season of re building. I don’t really feel that from a lot of the faith vloggers I watch and I need content that will really encourage me. I’m so thankful for you, really.

I would like to say that your vlogs help me to remember that God wants to do life with us and that life with God doesn’t have to be mundane or boring.
I’ve been trying to ask myself how do I pray to God about things that I haven’t allowed myself to dream about. I feel like I have a hard time allowing myself to live life to the full as God defines “full”. Like, I know I need a car and job but it’s like I take on this poverty mindset and settle for lesser in life bc anything better feels uncomfortable. Any advice?
1. You can start by reading about God's promises to his children found in the bible
2.. Meditate on those promises so that the Holy Spirit can reveal the mind of God concerning your life according to those promises
3. Pray according to those promises and ask God to help you believe on those promises
All the promises of God to his children include good health peace prosperity and many more
God has not called us to a life of poverty but prosperity
Though this doesn't mean our relationship with God should be based on what he can do for us but on honest and true intimacy with him
God is very eager to give us all our provisions because he is our father
The enemy makes us think that true Christianity means a life of poverty and lack but the Bible says that God has blessed us with Every spiritual blessings through Christ Jesus
And it also says that Every Good and Perfect gift comes from above
In proverbs the bible says The blessings of the Lord makes Rich and he adds no sorrow to it
And God has a covenant with us in Deuteronomy 28 that we will not borrow but have plenty
Honestly we don't really have the answers but God does. Just got to ask God for help. God won't always give you the answer that you want. It takes time and I know that God will provide for you with what you need. Just got to have faith. I can't always live life to the fullest. Not easy. But remember God is always with you. He is the way the truth and the light. He gives me and all of us christians hope! God bless you and I hope God helps you with your struggles and provides for your needs. I can’t put into words how much this helped me, especially when you included the promise about how the blessings of the lord maketh a man rich and he adds no sorrow to it. That is exactly how I was feeling, very sorry for myself and like God doesn’t want me to strive for great things. But I want to work on freeing myself from that mindset ❤
Can I ask, how can one meditate on the scriptures? Like outwardly pray them or recite them?

I sometimes say to myself “I’ve made such a mess of my life there’s no way I’m gonna get out of this” & this pertains to feeling like you made the wrong choice of career. I’m trying to trust God and rest in Him 🥲

I then pray for understanding ( Job 32:8 )
I then read the verse loud over and over again; Doing this is declaring the word of God and the more you declare the word of God it comes alive ( John 6:63 )
When the word of God comes alive in you that's when you will receive understanding and revelations
You might even find yourself praying
Meditation does not only help us understand the word of God; it builds our faith, make us enjoy the word, it brings the word of God alive in our lives, it brings solutions to our various problems, it brings peace and we become more spiritual sensitive in seeing and hearing from God
I pray it helps you Amen
