KYW-TV 3 Philadelphia Sign-off

Re-uploaded in 1080 HD and original length. Here is KYW-TV 3 signing off the morning of January 2, 1986. Recorded from Philadelphia on VHS SP-mode. Followed by KYW-TV slide and 1 MHz tone. There was antenna ghosting at the time of actual recording off the air. This problem especially plagued the VHF channels.

Hey Cap! Love your content. I do miss those times. We appreciated things more because there was no 24hr TV. Cartoons came on at certain times, so they were something to be looked forward to. Thanks sir for the memories.

BTW, do you have anything from the 1210 WCAU AM from the mid to late 80’s? I became a listener around 1987-88 with the evening- late night shows. “Radio Classics”, Richard Hayes, and Mr. Movie.
