Usually I get upset when Scotland gets missed out for analysis videos but honestly it’s a mercy that Squidge hasn’t looked at Scotland Ireland or Scotland Argentina
This tour can only benefit both teams. England are blooding more players and giving them game time in high pressure situations, as well as working on the strategy that will be strongly in place by the world cup, giving themselves time to perfect it without showing their hand a year early or wasting time on temporary game plans. The Wallabies on the other hand are getting that winning mentality back which they seemed to have lost a couple of years ago and turning back into a top 5 team
Great way of looking at it. People have been criticising Eddy for not trying new players, so this definitely is a positive. Surely Hooper’s tryline penalty 10:42 is hands in the ruck, penalty to England? Itoje is there just before him, admittedly he goes off his feet but that is after Hooper has his hands on the ball.
10:44 I keep hearing commentators (Aus & NZ ones) querying why a turnover is given as a ruck was already formed and the player arrived late on the ball. 10:44 is a good example of the referee getting it right. (Yes, of course they are often mistaken!) The reason Hooper can latch onto the ball is because a ruck requires two opposing players *ON THEIR FEET*. Itoje has gone straight off his feet trying to pin the tackler. That should have been the penalty right there, but it also means there is no ruck so Hooper can grab the ball if he arrives on his feet. Mind you, I'd like to see refs pinging defenders for putting hands on the ball when a ruck has formed, instead of meekly telling them to take their hands away. They've already slowed the play by then, which is what they were aiming to do. Another thing that needs more attention is YC's for cynical penalties on defence, especially when playing on a penalty advantage.
@@MusMasi It's impossible to tell but he seems to have uplifted the team and also Australian Super Rugby teams as well. Aus looking like peaking at the WC O_o
That ending was great ahahaha haaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaa
What's with Tommy Bowe being in all the videos ???
Dammmit - No South Africa review :'(
Otherwise, amazing reviews as always!
I have to say Squidge your analysis is getting better and better - esp for newcomers. Thanks mate!
I know I can hear Squidge very properly, but am I the only one who just has to put subtitles on for all his videos 😂😂
im confused. Movie scripts are only written ?
Smith should be kicking for goal, Farell is woeful
Can you do video on Georgia vs Italy game?
he wont
Is Dave Rennie not the best coach in the world? He seems to be effective in a large range of roles and has personal as well as rugby nous...
good yeah, best?
@@MusMasi It's impossible to tell but he seems to have uplifted the team and also Australian Super Rugby teams as well. I think he knows how to manage not only individuals and teams but possibly entire systems as well. He has a good relationship with players and the media alike. He's definitely up there.
Thank god he is skipping the Wales test., no South African wants to see that yet. Itoje at the end was just magical
i feel like england have been building for a long time
It’s interesting as every other creator is saying how bad the Farrell smith axis was and how there no improvement where as your saying the opposite and I think your right
Only issue is how much better Kerevi is than Farrell. That's what Squidge isn't considering. Farrell can kick but doesn't compare at all to Kerevi in open play
Great background work on Swain also, didnt realise he was such an easy target 🎯
I don't think that's the lesson to be learned from this. Swain isn't an easy target, Hill just targeted him in an extremely aggressive, personal and borderline illegal way. _Emily Scarratt_ would have taken a swing at him after all that, I know I would have.
@@zyaicob squide’s background brumbies work disagrees with you.
@@zyaicob its was not borderline illegal, it is illegal.
