well , if in studio , VL120 , if go out for a shooting , definitely VL100C
Have you checked the VL61? How is it compared to the VL49?
VL61 is bigger and brighter

Vl3 dont offer that honeycomb or diffuser.... which is very important for lighting...they don't plan on adding comb or diffuser on any of there updated lights...which is a deal breaker .... nice review
