Can't get meatball to spawn any ideas
I get it it's Kvostov and an exotic but jeez they basically want you to do absolutely everything in the pale heart for one weapon.
Ong but it is a really cool weapon plus it’s nice to just go ahead and get it out the way

Had the meatball glitch. Killed once, reloaded the area, killed twice, started over in the same area, spent the 5 minutes checking trees and rocks, third time got it to spawn in the back left of the room where the boss dies, not particularly close to anything, just saw it floating in the air then it fell.
Do you need to cycle back to it or does it just spawn meatball again
@@Gigachoungus If you wait out the five minutes it'll spawn all the events again and doing them will lead up to the same boss spawn, at least it did for me

I killed the Meatball last- I had 16 motes of light and needed 1 more, I heard the exotic drop but couldn't find it.. the motes had been converted and I didn't get the exotic. So all the motes are gone and I basically just got robbed

NOTE!!!! The triumphs for tracking which bosses you have killed IS NOT accurate. It is just randomly completing for some people. If you are missing motes, but have all the Traveler statues, you are DEFINITELY missing some Overthrow bosses!!!!! SAVING THE MEATBALL BOSS FOR LAST CAN BUG OUT YOUR MOTES SO DO THE BLOOMING AREA ASAP AND NOT LAST.

Hello, bro. I have a real problem with this quest. I have found 16 motes and then, they just dissapeared, i did not obtain exotic one too. Can i fix it?

Yep I had 16 motes and they disappeared at some point. (I believe it was when I killed the meatball, which was my final boss.)

IT SEEMS TO BOSSES ARE NOT RANDOM AND THAT IF YOU STAY IN THE SAME AREA BETWEEN EACH ROUND YOU GET NEW BOSS EVERY TIME
Not true, just ran in the same instance in the landing and got the second boss twice in a row

It seems to be not random, but however if 1 person don't/didn't do it, it will spawn the missing one (so make sure everyone needs the same boss) and it most likely to spawn

I was a little confused at the end of the video you said 15 motes. After watching the video again because I didn’t get the exotic mote and reading comments it turns out my triumphs bugged and said I completed all the bosses but I only have 16 motes. My last bosses were in the impasse.
Ever figure out a solution? I have 16 motes and have defeated all bosses from overthrow.
@@Gilbert_Eugene the meatball boss has been disabled temporarily bc ppl kept having their motes be launched everywhere, so if you happen to have not killed that boss yet you're sol till Bungo puts the boss back in.

Anyone just not getting a 17th mote literally at all, I know for a fact I’ve killed every boss. And I’m somehow missing a mote, my worry is that it’s that bug with the taken servitor, but it wasn’t my exotic mote or anything so I’m so lost.
I did it in random order
Unfortunately, I incorrectly believed I fought all 3 bosses in The Blooming because the triumph cleared prematurely. So now, the meatball was the last boss I needed to kill and because of it I lost all my motes and the exotic never spawned. There really needed to be an in-game PSA because it's only NOW I find out about bug with The Blooming bosses
UPDATE: I FOUND IT!!!!! IT WAS HIDING IN THE FUCKING TREE!!!!

Pro Tip: You can Reroll The overthrow bosses by reloading the area while solo idk about having a fire team

I am so glad most of the content was not timegated with this expansion, really takes a lot out of the expansion when i am stuck waiting weeks for stuff to happen.
This sucks because if you don’t grab the keys during the ending of the cysts, you have to completely redo the alone in the dark quests to gain access to the final areas of the cysts. So have fun spending hours getting all of these again if you didn’t pick them up. Then you have to go do all of this? Fuck. I’ll pass on this gun for now. Real bad quest design for this one.
Might still me buged. I just went and killed all of the bosses for a second time. I was at 16 out of 17, Still only have 16 after doing all of them for the second time
I have 16 motes of light, the only Overthrow boss I have to fight is Koftiks in The Blooming area. But no matter what I do he *will not* show up and it's driving me nuts. Does anyone know if it's bugged or something?

@@Levisclip No I haven't. But I did find some new info as I posted about this on Steam Discussions too and someone told me that the boss was temporarily removed from rotation due to the bugs causing it to make people lose their motes when collecting the final one from him. Hopefully they fix it soon.

this quest was so ungodly long for a gun i will never use i hated every minute of the farming for this
If you do it solo you can leave the zone an come back in an the boss will change(don't go back to orbit or teleport out)

So I was just doing this quest I did all the traveler pickups first then went for the bosses and it randomly took all the Motes out of my inventory what the actual fuck and I can’t even reacquainted them if I wanted too because those Traveler collectibles are a one time pickup.
Some bosses are just absolutely flinging the exotic engram across the map. If you kill that boss again it should work!
If I haven't killed a boss every day in each zone due to prepping for raid, am I able to just grind all 9 bosses tonight or do I have to wait till Saturday/Sunday to finish it?

Khvostov in d2 feels incredible with prismatic, me and my mate did the exotic class item mission with no issues from ads. People shitting on it are the same people that desperately look up meta guide videos for their respective class. Just use what you want xD

Bungie sent out a tweet saying that you will probably have to wait. They disabled the pull from collections due to some issue. Not sure when they are going to re-enable.

What happens when you get the nine motes of light first, before getting the first set of 8. I defeated the nine bosses first, before getting the 8 motes from exploring, and when I got the remaining 8, and deposited them in the tower, it gave me the motes of primordial light, but cannot open the chest.
Nvm...I got it. I had to rotate around the chest, to prompt the open😂

Idk about you guys but obviously, when you get to getting the exotic, the game melts. I have gotten the exotic but in a odd way.
I was already 15 motes deep, needed 16. Started watching videos just to clarify what I had to do. Saw some videos and comments saying don't kill the mutated servitor last since he bugs out hard. Again I was 15 normal/purple motes in, I was like ok I'll just killing him for my 16th then kill another guy for the last. I killed meatball like 5 times? Didn't drop the mote I needed. Got desperate with my puny 15 motes hoping to get the 2nd to last one.
I went to the impasse to kill the tormentor boss that spawns there since he was needed for a triumph like the other bosses. I killed him, he dropped the exotic mote...how? I only had 15? I need 16 as I've seen in the videos to even get the exotic mote to drop but nope I got it early I guess? And then I got the exotic.
That's my story on this buggy ride.

I don't think the motes are disappearing, its dropping you the exotic one you need and just getting rid of the legendary ones from your inventory. (I FOUND THE EXOTIC MOTE BEHIND THE BIG TREE WHERE I KILLED THE MEATBALL BOSS)

The meatball didn't drop the mote for me and it wasn't the last boss I I did in the blooming
One helpful thing they could do is add a triumph tracking the motes of light. That way at leas you know which one you're missing.
Don’t know if this will help anyone, but if you have the meatball as your last boss like I did, DO NOT kill the boss fast. I took my sweet time shooting him with a primary and the exotic mote dropped with no issues. I melted him the first time and the mote was lost to time and space.
Also, from what I understand, the exotic mote just replaces your 16 motes. Just take the exotic one to the chest like Skarrow showed, then you’re done.

Thanks Skarrow! For anyone stuck on the meatball dude don’t do him as the last kill. For me the mote did not drop I ran around everywhere and no luck I went to orbit looked at my motes and it was there idk if that will work for everyone but good luck!(A friend also confirmed this)
I had the meatball as last. I heard it drop but I couldn’t find it. It glitched out the map and isn’t in my postmaster
I was intentionally trying to do the meatball first before doing the rest of the motes of light but it didn’t drop a mote, the taken vex and oger both dropped it but not the meatball, should I do it again bc it could of got clitched or is it just not gonna drop in general?

Do not Kill the meatball last, He actually is dropping the Motes usually but they get blown away to the far back of the room I had to kill him 3 times to get it. Manually track which bosses you need as the Triumphs are bugged. Bosses are RNG but seem to give you the ones you need if you stay in same insance and hop around from Landing/Bloom/Impasse.

Go to the bloom,the spot where you fight the final boss of the overthrow. At the entrance on the middle right there's something that looks like a tree trunks
