Cuba always humbles me, on many occasions I've gone there and become frustrated and promised myself I'll never return but then after 6 months something draws me back to this wonderful island. The warmth of it's people, the creativity that having next to nothing brings. How they do so much , with so little. I'm always shocked or surprised by something in Cuba but I am never bored. Timmy is one of the few travelers that have seen the true soul of Cuba. His videos go beyond just traveling but make you stop and think of how much we have and how little we have to complain about.
Cuba is a country unfairly sanctioned by the United States. Cuban education levels are at the same level or higher than Greece and all of Europe. The Cubans made their own vaccine against Coronavirus. Cuba, in Olympic sports, is one of the best on the planet, being a blocked and sanctioned country. Cuba is the safest country in America and the Caribbean. It is not a perfect country, but the day the unjust economic sanctions are lifted by the United States, it will be and it is also a very supportive country. That is Cuba in summary!
I've been to Cuba 20 times, in different regions. The people are friendly everywhere i've been at. Trinidad is my personal favorite city. Cayo Santa Maria's beaches are some of the nicest in the world. I don't go to Cuba for the food, I go for the people and the beach...
I just realized how much your channel is blowing up man. That's awesome brother. I've been watching since the beginning. You deserve it bro great content.
You are killing me because I recognized almost all of those streets you were walking on. One word of advice .....next time you go out at night, take a little flashlight with you. When they have power outages there at night, the streets in Havana are PITCH BLACK!!! The sidewalks and roadways are so bad in places, you will sprain an ankle in a heartbeat. I spent two days looking for a cane after I did it and never found one. Now I take a collapsible one with me each time I go down and leave it behind for an older person when I leave to help them get around. Enjoy your trip. My first trip was January 2000 and I have never been the same since. HaHaHa!!!! I wrote this post before I got to the end of your video. Power outage right on cue!!! LOL!!!! That is Havana.
@@cameroon89 In the tourist hotels….no, but in the street stores in Havana, yes. Most Cubans boil or distill water from their taps. By the way, the Cuban nickname for refrigerator is “the coconut “ because usually the only thing in it is water. 😂. I love Cuban humour.

The seaweed on the beach is called sargassum and comes from the Sargasso Sea. There’s a guy in Mexico that makes house bricks out of the sargassum. The seaweed is not caused by chemicals in Mississippi.

But my travel style was the same. I had a Canon camera and a whole bunch of 35mm films in my pocket to capture the moments. Someway I feel like you are my incarnation, living my life that I left behind. Now I am old and I still get around but always have the urge to cut loose.
Why don't you make some video slides from the moments you captured and upload them on RUclips. I am sure people would love to see how it was 50 years ago. For sure I'd love to see it. You have a piece of history that could be shared.
@@petesvoice1313 Thanks for your wonderful comments. I would love to share my collection of pictures and stories someday. It would require me to scan and put it all together. It is a time taking process. At the moment I work over 60 hours a week and have a very active lifestyle. I am trying to sell my business. Once that happens I will have a plenty of time to organize and upload my pictures on RUclips. I will save your handle and let you know. Have a great day.
@@partyanimal2017 That's awesome. Good luck with selling your business.
@@petesvoice1313 Thanks. I appreciate it.

that ocean plant you playing with is called "SEA WEED" haha and yes its nasty as... especially when I first travelled to Fiji. the small islands have almost mountains of it on the sand and smells bad when dried in the sun! keep up with the travels mate, I am enjoying watching you travel and interact with the locals! I hope to go to south america very soon!
For real 😂@AlexBurner-mj3tt

Find someone with a great outlook on Cuba. I love Cuba!
Timmy, you move right 👍🏻 Your attitude is nice. Treat people with respect, don‘t judge and have fun. Girls will come automatically and some dangerous situations won‘t happen too.
Of course there are always be crime and people with nothing to loose. Going with the flow and acting human go a long way though.
Keep it up man
