First album i listened to with the first girl i ever loved ( sound system) . The first album listened to while on the rebound from the first girl i loved ( from chaos) the first album listened to when my life went into a dark dark place ( revolver) and now i listen to them all in my comfortable life . Just make sure you use what I call "smashed chords" haha. When doing power chords on the 2nd and 3rd string, they hit the bottom one also and the gain makes it sound downtuned even though it's not.
I still love this song!!! My gosh man, Nick sure can write lyrics, huh?! I love how Nick and SA gel together. Each of them writes incredible lyrics and they harmonize so well. 311 is truly one of my favorite bands of all time. Anyone that (genuinely) knows me knows that I'm a big 311 fan. Not many bands can stand the test if time like 311 and still put out good music. Love this!

I had seen them back in 94 or 95, I believe(in Florida).. it was before their self-titled album came out and before they were on MTV.. maybe only 100 people there... I still have the ticket with their autographs (half of them were walking around with the crowd as it wasn't a large venue and they weren't getting swarmed)...
The best concert I ever went to... I still remember it all this time later... Grunge was dead. Pivotal moment.

Might be my favorite 311 album, although it hardly gets any love. Hexum hasn't aged a bit.
I prefer transistor and grassroots but Soundsystem is an incredible album and the best production they ever had.
