    I believe in a full and fair investigation. I believe women need to be proactive, and reactive. Don't laugh at sexual jokes or remarks. Don't go along to get along. Don't smirk when you aren't the target. Speak up. Write it down. Tell someone. If necessary LEAVE THE JOB. Most importantly say no! Say "Excuse me, have you been hit in the head recently? Don't speak/ touch me like that. You just crossed a line. Dont ever do that." I know it's tough. Been there. We need to advocate for ourselves. There is no knight in shining armor coming to save you. Slay that dragon your self, then teach your sister, daughter, and neice to do the same.

    The beauty of Linda to set forth the truth of inappropriate behavior by Tom Brokaw clearly displays a testament unto her spirit. Linda is not seeking any civil action attributed to a monetary value, only expressing a real concern to receive an apology from Tom Brokaw. We believe Linda regarding the aforesaid accusations. People believe that power entrusted unto them is a pass to conduct themselves in a manner not to be challenged. Why would any knowingly bring false allegations against someone, retain journal entries from the past twenty-four years denoting the actual events and then seeking an apology for misdeeds and no money? The harvest comes at any time as not any know of the hour. A most wise choice for Tom Brokaw is to confess his inappropriate behavior toward Linda and others, for he shall have to give account in the last days to Our Eternal Light.

    One time I told HR I didn’t feel comfortable with my coworker talking about his sex life so openly …even after I told her to stop. But She happened to be gay and I a heterosexual married man. So HR came back and told me I was being homophobic and sexist and actually took the fall for it. I’m not even white. But I am a male and a heterosexual male. I can’t even imagine how hard it is to be a white male in 2023. yes, some take advantage of the situation and some are scumbags. But with the social connection and social media world we live in, I think now many women and ppl play the victim and more do it for gain rather than actually stoping something wrong. It’s like serial killers. Before mast surveillance and DNA/FBI databases, it was hard to catch them. They had their run in the 70’s and 80’s. But now a days, you hardly ever hear of one. Sure it happens….but we don’t have 10 Ted Bundys and 20 BTK’s running around the US doing harm…..same here. I don’t believe her one bit. And I don’t think men are protected enough from entitled “feminist” and the get away with everything they want LGBTQ or the woke left snowflakes.

    Yes. There ARE sexual harassment in ALL sections of life. It is wrong. But the rules of conduct get very BLURRED and often confused in a flirtatious environment by people in high stress situations. A look, a flirty comment, loneliness in one's personal life, someone paying attention to you in a very friendly, attractive way. One can get confused or misinterpret another's actions or signals. It's incredibly easy to send out wrong flirtation signals that get mired in confusion. Many times it is NOT so crystal clear what is happening. It's unfortunate but is VERY common.

    Back in 2004,I went down to N.Y.C. with my then girlfriend to attend a taping of her show on Fox News with Linda Vester (studio audience) when she had it! I always wanted to meet her! After the show we stuck around to talk to her and waited,because she was already talking to someone! I really did not get a word in when it came time to meet her,because she actually started talking to my girlfriend (they hit it off!) and the only thing I got to say was “I enjoyed your show!), when actually it was my idea to be on her show! I did ask her for her autograph and got it! She is a very attractive woman!

    Objectively speaking, she comes across as quite credible here and articulate. It probably happened much as she stated, and he simply repressed it or is in denial. It is so very hard for people to admit to any fault, say their sorry and move on, especially the powerful in society.

      How is being a Virgin insecure! That’s what’s wrong with this World! I have Morals/Standards. (Unlike many of my Generation)...
      I’m not a hormonal monster, trying to get all the goods! If that was the case, wouldn’t that make me feel insecure about myself? (Sexually as well)?
      Meaning, me taking advantage of multiple different Women, because I don’t feel like I can get all the necessary pleasure out of a Women? Well... I’m a right?
      I knew some idiot would call me out on being a Virgin. It’s sad really... out of everything I said, you choice/choose, to hit me up on that?

      Sketchmee5 Maybe, just maybe, she is being truthful. What's her purpose? Perhaps to get senior management (CEO/HR VP/News president/etc.) to take this very seriously and to ensure there is a safe environment in which women/minorities/others can work without being sexually harassed, or from being approached/touched by very powerful men, and to provide a forum in which women can go to bring incidents like she is describing, without encountering retribution (e.g., getting fired, being ostracized, verbal attacks) on the part of the accused (i.e., like Tom Brokaw). Why did she wait so long? She described that. HR was a place for payroll mistakes, and not a place where you could go to bring incidents like she is describing and not expect backlash from senior management. Example of response from management: “Who the hell are you, a lowly research assistant coming forth and accusing Tom Brokaw, a man with an impeccable 40+ year record of journalistic integrity, of acting inappropriately? What are you after?” Trust me, what she is describing rings true. She said she kept notes at the time.

People go to each other's rooms all the time. To put it simply, she has no sense of context or the slightest grasp of how normal male/female relationships work
    .

    • @patrickjerome9169
      @patrickjerome9169 6 лет назад

      Huh? Did I mention Trump? But since you've brought it up, here's my two cents. Stormy accepted a large sum of money to shut up, and she has a moral and legal obligation to shut up. But it's fun to listen to her, because her story has substance. This is very different from Brokaw's accuser, and the woman who accused Bill O'Reilly, neither of whom has an actual story but is raking a man over the coals for nothing more egregious than some harmless flirting, and the idiot culture is going along with them.
