Not sure what difference it makes. O’Reilly was very obviously guilty. Matt Lauer is AlSO very obviously guilty. One doesn’t excuse the other.
A body language expert analyzed this interview and her conclusion was that O'Reilly was truthful in all his answers.
No way would Matt sit for an interview. We will likely NEVER see his weasel face ever again, except for tabloids that might catch him frolicking at the beach.
Brandonisi - I can't defend Matt Lauer; as I understand it there is a lot of evidence (messages, pictures, videos, lewd gifts, etc) of his guilt. Bill O'Reilly's case is less obvious; I haven't seen any credible evidence other than a bunch of he-said-she-said statements and couple of large settlements. Do you have any links to credible sources describing the evidence you've used to state Bill's "obviously guilty"? If so, please share them: I'm interested in seeing them.

I still believe in innocent until proven guilty. I am not a fan of Lauer, but the smear goes far. My bet whatever happened at the time was consensual and now given the climate, the opportunity to cash in is too easy. The pendulum has come off the hook.
