Just picked up the smallest sling over this past weekend. Minus the few snarky comments from people not understanding what it is 😂. I’m loving it. Is very comfortable, and holds all of my essential EDC. Loving the channel, brother! Keep up the great content, and thank you!!

I used to get comments that I was carrying a purse (granted, I was using a Tom Bihn small cafe bag at the time), but nowaways most people are seem pretty Ok with slings. In fact, I just had a guy at REI ask me where I got my metrorunner because he wanted one!
Same. The metrorunner is the one that most people stop to ask me about. That or my north face commuter sling

Hey everyone! These are three amazing bags from TomToc - all are marketed as EDC Compact Slings. The medium sling is now it’s own listing on Amazon, it formerly was lumped in with the other two. Let’s check them out!!!
They now have three sizes of the smaller TomToc bag you showed off.
i ordered all 3 and got all of them and.....
small sling - i wish the strap was longer. but i have to say this is the best minimalist sling organization ever. i can even fit my dji mini 2 with remote in it and 2 extra batteries.
medium slling - it reminds me of the 5.11 moab 10 but a lot better and more comfy. the strap is perfect and working out of it is very nice. it's almost hilarious that it swallows my mba 13 m1 and a 10.2 ipad and a little more. but i think it works better without all the weight. i think having a 12.9 ipad in there is just right.
the large one - and it isn't larger than much. i thought i would hate it but i actually do like it. i like the option of just wearing it on my side or back. i feel that there's less pressure on the laptop while using it vs. directly on my back.
i like all of them but each has it's own purpose. now i have to explain to my wife why i want to keep all of them... and the 40L backpack from tomtoc. this is really addicting. i've never bought so much stuff of the same brand. and i blame you.

Got myself the smallest one! I almost always venture outdoors with a backpack so this one goes along with it perfectly to hold my phone, passport, notebook and valuable items, replacing my old, worn-out and clearly inferior passport holder of 7 years!
I see this one lasting me at least twice as long as the former!

Great review. Love these bags, have many of them (1 small, 2 different mediums and a large pack pack from Tomtoc). Just an FYI, the medium comes in a vertical and the Horizontal. So the vertical is closer to the other two you are showing.
So true. But TomToc calls them all compact edc so I thought I’d show the different looking one which I think is the best of the bunch! Thx so much for watching!
I thought by "medium" you meant the Tomtoc Explorer H02 Sling Bag M (not this single-strap backpack style).

I have the small and the medium. The medium is the exact same color. I love the medium the best although I won’t give the small up either for athletic uses mainly. (Riding bike, gym, walk workout). Great video

Great video! I purchased the 9L bag to take to and from school as a high school teacher. Got it in the mail and at first thought it was too small and filled out the form on Amazon to return it. Now, after seeing it compared to the 10L I am rethinking that devision. I might keep it. I like the carrying abilities of the 9L much better. My 13.3 inch Macbook Pro even with a protective rubberish cover and it fits well. I also like the pen slot. Under $60 and it's a great bag! Your reviews have been helpful in the proces. Thanks !!!

not sure did tomtoc made any update on their lineup since this video release, but as far as i know the medium is a different model from the other two, and the explorer t21 does have its own medium version. was hoping for a comparison between that and the medium on this video.

Great viideo. I have the small one and love it. Use it daily but going overseas on holliday realise it will struggle to hold the additional items I want to include. The medium looks perfect for my holliday so will be getting one.

So bummed that the medium is now, 4/23/23, oriented the same as the large and small versions. Thanks for your awesome comparison video.
They are two separate models. The vertical medium one is called the "Navigator" while the horizontally oriented small and large ones are called the "Explorer."

This bag... I don't even like it. You don't really hear reviewers say stuff like that often haha. I really appreciate just plainly stating it like it is!
The small one is EDC, for general people who don’t want to fill their pockets, yes the medium is best bang for buk but it’s too big to use in general.

The medium size i bought and used for a 5 month trip...i used the water bottle spot for a collapsable umbrella...liked the bag but due to its vertical orientation, when using as a sling stuff easily falls out as the zipper wraps around and care must be taken. As well, when using on the right shoulder the front pocket is not accessible as it is on the bottom....this bag would be perfect if it was horizontally oriented.
I bought small one and use it daily, but it’s not quite big enough. Looking to get the medium this fall
I really liked this bag... BUT I still found the small version a bit too big for my taste. Great bag overall

I know these aren't expensive, but I've just got too many bags now! I ordered a couple Aer for their black friday sale, and just recently picked up two Cotopaxi allpas (35L and 28L) during REI's sale. I'm not sure when I'll get the chance to use any of them. On day to day basis, I'm still rocking my Greenroom136 metrorunner and when I need more space, usually my trusty goruck 10L bullet.

Sure thing! My favorite bag company in the entire world is Greenroom136 - they are based in Malaysia and I always order my custom bags from them with a Malaysian Flag proudly displayed on the bag so that everyone can see where the bag was made and where the maker lives.

Is the white bag easy to clean? Also would it fit a mirrorless camera sony a6600 and lens
i haven't had issues with just wiping it down. As for the size - not sure on that camera, sorry! But worst case, it's Amazon, if it doesn't fit you can send it back for free.
I’m trying to find something I can take on daily, that’s not to big or small, I can carry just my sunglasses, chargers, keys, wallet, and sometimes my switch. Without it being a tight squeeze . What do you recommend?
There really are a lot of options for you with that list. The switch is the only thing that narrows down the field a little. Do you want to carry crossbody on your chest or at your side like a satchel?

Ok. From tomtoc check out the new aviator in the larger size and the wander sling in xpac- both on Amazon so you can send back if size is wrong for you. From other brands consider the Kargo Loculus and the Greenroom136 Slingshifter.
I bought the larger size, im going to return it, you mentioned better slings for a laptop, i need a compact travel sling for a 14inch laptop, any ideas?
Yes. I would look at the Aer Travel Sling 2. Very slim. Check the Finley slingpack from wexley bags. Also maybe the Cotopaxi chasqui if you want something a little funkier
@@ThePerfectBag I looked into the Chasqui and really liked it, but I didn't like the fact that there was not enough organization for me. I would have had to go to a couple of smaller bags to organize things and didn't want to go that route. The cost would have added up.

got a steam deck? really curious if the small one is able to fit one. currently using the Aer cross body day sling max and it's just a bit too big despite the quality being superb
I think it will fit but not feel as tight or secure as the Aer

Hi, i don't understand well if the medium (7 litres version as in the video) fits an ipad pro 12.9 or if i have to go with the medium but the 9 litres version (black only), a litlle bigger...is it possible for you to make a comparison ? thank you
I don’t have my hands on the larger version yet, but I can tell you that you’re going to need the larger version for the 12.9 inch iPad Pro. My 11 inch iPad Pro barely fits in the smaller version so go with the nine later.
