I'm happy the 2000Nxs doesn't have a touchscreen though. Don't like fingerprints on my displays.
djjpogi no chance of that happening look at the price of the things it won't even affect the 900 nexus or 2000 nexus unless someone who has got a bit of money to burn wants to quickly sell some second hand ones to get the new ones. Probably go down 80to 50 pounds lol. I hope not I just bought the 900nexus pair for £1999 a few months back.

+djjpogi Just checked the store where I get my gear. Looks like they have already updated their site. A new setup (combination deal) of 2x 2000Nxs2 + DJM900Nxs 2 will cost about 6000€, which is 1000€ more then the Nxs1 setup.
The reason I got mine before the end of 2015 was because I had a 5% discount voucher, so I got quite a good deal.
I really love the new features. Search and tags are especially exciting!

...and I'm sitting here happy that I got my Nxs2 setup and still don't have to bring a laptop to my gigs. At least 1 less future point of failure to worry about. How much is the new Mac Pro with the 2TB hdd now...? Was it $5000 or $6000? and you'd still need one for backup so you have to buy another one or keep your old one as well. ...and no, the old model won't do because now it's about new gear that's gonna last problem free for the next 4-5 years.
Couldn't find any video of you showing what it is you do with Traktor that is so unique. I'd love to see a live video of someone showing this in a live situation because no one with this argument ever do. I'm not interested in a 5 min performance video but a real set in a live situation lasting at least an hour or more. I've asked someone to do this several times but it seems very hard to do. The ones I find only shows the back of a laptop and I want to see everything that's going on.
I'm not using half of what my old setup, 2000Nxs/Djm-800, offer in terms of functions. Still, I play 1-3 nights a week in all kind of venues and I have a residency in the best club in the area I live in. My first and most important requirement is reliability, the rest I appreciate but care less about. I have several videos, both live clips and live audio recordings posted. No secrets :) . At least it shows the environment I usually work in and how I use my gear.

Damn, I love Pioneer and been a loyal fan since the DJM-500 and CDJ1000s and am totally stoked about this unveiling, but I almost have to agree with some of the other comments below about being a bit too complex and intricate. At the end of the day, I just want to set up and spin. DJM-900NXS with a set of CDJ2000NXS is already a killer set up...

I was so eager to get these. Then I sent my DDJ-SX2 into pioneer for
warranty service... They held my unit for a month did none of the
service I outlined, updated the firmware then returned it to me badly
damaged. After a week of begging and pleading with them to not make me
send it back in for another month they basically said "screw you". I was
a true pioneer enthusiast and expected to spend about $10,000 dollars
on their latest gear to make a hybrid setup this year. Now almost
another month since I re-returned my SX2 Ive heard nothing. I will never
purchase another pioneer unit again. I've already ordered my DENNON
MCX8000 and cant wait to be with a company that has customer support.
Obviously NO DJ EQUIPMENT should be priced like these units.... but if
you do sell stuff at these prices you better offer UNMATCHED CUSTOMER
SUPPORT. Pioneer will not be industry standard for much longer. RIP
pioneer. Dealing with pioneer in person was like meeting my childhood hero only to find out they are an alcoholic mess who charges $15 for an autograph.

Loving the new CDJ's especially its touchscreen. That Vs. CDJ-2000 Nexus, I doubt its worth for me upgrade.

Hey Pioneer, NXS2 has been out for more than three years, after all this numerous controllers released (most of them having more features than full NXS2 setup for 5 times less money) I guess the time has come to see new CDJ (XDJ or whatever new flagship will be called) :)

I'm on the XDJs right now which are amazing. I just wish they had the corner lighting around the edge of the jogwheel like the CDJs :(
i still have my old cdj 2000s. And i am quite happy with those. :)
and its really annoying that the lan port breaks randomly. i hardly ever used it and if i did, i just used it at home. repaired it recently, now it's broken again.
You know that this video is outdated when you see laidback luke praising the nxs2's... He uses the denons now :D
YO! To each Samurai his own on which sword they decide to carry and master. So I can't knock these decks, but I can laugh my ass off at all the excitement in this video from the most basic and simple innovations that controllerist/laptop DJs have had for YEARS!
So let me get this straight for the low low price of only $4000+ we can get 8 hot cues, a loop cutter, and can search files with a qwerty keyboard. C'MON SON!!! The divas may love it and be able to afford it, but we are working class DJs... Don't worry though Pioneer, it's all good you still got my $$$ anyway. I just retired my Vestax VCI380 and Serato for a DDJ-SR and Rekordbox DJ. Dope job with Rekordbox DJ, it was what made me switch.
Traktor has been having all this features for a while now! Pioneer Djing is more about the approach of achieving high status symbol.

I like the CDJ 2000s they are nice, so is the CDJ 900s.
This is why i've seen some producers/Djs producing on 96Khz/24-Bit, like Deorro, and Joachim Garraud newest studio album titled 96Khz/24-Bit ... lol. i guess it's the time to start producing on that kind of settings.

It's not like the 2000 Nexus which, imo, was just a 2000 1.5. This new model is really loaded with new features, both physical and within the software (screen).

Everything I asked for except Ya'll refuse to get rid of the CD drive, which makes the Unit heavier & probably cost $500 more than it should. Get rid of it please! Better yet, do a survey to see how many people still want a CD Drive. Go!

Basically it does what all DDJ already do...but in a all in 1 solution (no need computer)...I mean...8 hot cues? well it was about time but nothing new here. Those CDJs look great tho.

Can't help but think if they ditched the disc function that would save a fuck load in production costs and price to the end user. Looks amazing though and cant wait to get my hands on them!
+Dirty Needlez honestly, they wouldve been cheaper if they ditched the cd drive. thats become 98% irrelevant especially with the usb, and HID modes. i dont know anyone still using cds these days

it's all about having a solid laptop with solid software, for the price of these what happens when they become dated and actual rekord box dj software has advanced.

So it still doesn't have a lockable power cord, it still has the same unreliable network ports, no xlr booth outputs. Let's hope they have improved the sound quality of the mixer..

As a semi beginner DJ (I have been thinking about getting a pair, and waiting for a while for a new version of the CDJ2000NXS), if I only had the option of either getting the 2 CDJ 2000NXS2 OR the new mixer DJM 900NXS2, which would should I get? In other words, is it better to invest more in CDJs and less in the mixer, or more in the mixer and less in the CDJs. One of the possibilities I'm thinking about is 2 CDJ2000NXS and this mixer or.... CDJ2000 NXS2 and a tier below for the mixer.All responses are appreciated!
I think I have enough features to do me for the moment on my cdj2000nxs system. A lot of the new features on the nxs2 , to be honest I probably would'int use or need , but i'd say are still cool.

Does anyone know if they fixed the wind back and track annoyingly stops if wound back a little too far in vinyl mode?
most of the features like 'hotcues' or cuebuttons at all are not that new if you look for example on a Traktor Z2 Mixer or an S4.
So it's basically the same but supports usb directly and costs like 10000x more and can cost that much because everyone wants it
i want to change the colour of light around the cdj2000nxs vinyl, any help???
on the decks when you are in a playlist can we show/hide columns. for example i want to see the title,artist,album,genre & bpm when I'm in a playlist. i do not want to see art work key. Also when searching can i only search for a song in a playlist not the whole hard drive with the keyboard because i can't do none of that with my pioneers this should be a software update!!! & i have the djms9 mixer we should be able use a usbhub to link it to the xdj 1000 & use the pads for hot cues
IM THINKIG TO GO GET THE DENON SC5000 they cost a little more then the xdj1000 & cheaper then the cdc 2000nxs
Flac support is good. But seriously getting excited about a crisper screen and a few extra buttons, there is no reason to upgrade a home setup.

If you cant afford these or even the 2000s. The xdj and the 1000s will introduce you tothe better players jjst fine. Ive used all of them even in the club so if anyone wants to save loot you can go that route

Peter, I think that the answer of your question is asking to people that you know and thoose people are familiarited with Pioneer products, ask to a specialized shop the thigs tat you don´t know, I hope that this answer could help you
