How come no one is talking about how the updates are ruining the CTR boards? I have to replace mine at my expense after just 2 years because of Atgames. Only way to get them to fix this problem is to call them out on here.

That's sweet! I personally built a PC for this and run it through HDMI and use a USB to connect the control deck to PC via OTC option in the menu. I get steam, gamepass, retro arch you name it. It's fantastic.

I keep trying to decide if I wanna mod a 4 player Arcade1up or softmod one of these. In all honesty, even if you go online to certain resale stores to buy a thumb drive with all the games. Its cheaper to get this arcade then it is to get any Arcade1up and then all the corresponding mods. Then on top of it all, this is a larger cab. You def helped me make my decision.,
The only mod I'm considering doing (other than maybe putting in a shelf for my PS3 inside the base) would be replacing the two joysticks with Tron-style trigger joysticks, to make Tron and Battlezone and Assault play better. But for something like Ms. Pac-Man or a twin-stick shooter like Robotron, those balltop sticks are nicer to play with, so I'm not sure I would do that.
the "tron style" joysticks also block the lower area of the screen, if you get a light gun you will have a hard time shooting at the lower area. i have both a light gun and tron joystick. be careful if you want both.
I want to put a coin door on the front panel of the arcade game where the names of some of the games are. Can you tell what the thickness size of the panel is so i know what screws and washers to buy? Is it 1/2 inch thick or 1/4 inch thick?
You would have to change that panel for a wood one. The panel that it comes with is almost like cardboard. It's not going to hold the weight of the coin door

Nimbus my guy, I have one of these legends ultimate arcades and they are so cool but I’m having trouble finding what games to play if you have anything to recommend other than 8 eyes, adventure, bowling, desert assault, gargoyles, mutant fighter, pong, or saint dragon. That would be great I know I listed a lot but if you recommend any other games it would be a great help thanks for what you do and keep up the channel your doing great man you just got another subscriber

It's impossible to get from Sam's club and Walmart. They have been out of stock forever and getting it from atgames is a big mistake because of how awful their customer support is.

Just saw one at Sam's Club today (almost got it for my dad's Christmas gift) It looks so sick definitely softmodding and throwing a switch dock in there the thought of playing dragonball fighterz on it sounds amazing But can I ask what version of coinops did you use and what size USB stick? I just put mine together. Its the kids Christmas gift and well Im loving it so far. Works great took no time at all to assemble and everything works. Im going to mod mine as soon as I find the right equipment to install
Cool video. I just used a pc, and built into the arcade withe hdmi ports, if you go to options is OTG mode, the arcade mapps the buttons, trackball etc for you for every system basically. I havent messed with it in awhile though cause im addicted to pinball now lol Welcome to the fam.
This looks great: can you show us the internals: how did you splice the wires, and how do you hook each console up and switch between them? Also, any way to get the trackball & spinners working on other systems like retropie and PC using direct wire? I know there's the OTG mode of the Legends, but I've found OTG mode unreliable sometimes, and it doesn't fully map all the same number of buttons to Player 2 vs P1 (Player 2 misses one button (menu button), which makes some retropie games hard to play, like Gauntlet 2 where P2 needs a coin insert button and a start button (ideally mapped to Menu and P2 start)
@Gian San you can and I thought of that, but I have so many other things connected to the arcade. Like the PS3, Switch, Dreamcast, etc. But that's the beauty of this arcade, you can do anything and approach it however you want.
If I walked into an arcade that had only the built-in arcade games in the Legends Ultimate, I'd think they had a great collection. And that's just the built-in games. With CoinOps X v5 installed, I'm pretty well matching Laconia Funspot in my spare bedroom. For a lot of the omissions, there's a nicely curated alternative. No Pac-Man? Lock and Chase. No Robotron:2084? Black Widow. But if they've got the Atari license, why can't I have Battlezone or Star Wars or Gauntlet?

I have a 128g flash drive and it's a version you download from the arcade's "app store"

And I don't think that atgame sucks completely it has good included games buttons n sticks way better and works for super smash tv its nice
