I met Adrian a few years ago in a master class. He's such a great and natural guy. He told me the history of how he met and played in an audition for Zappa.
This is an EXCELLENT interview, and at such a key time in Belew/Crimson history! THANK YOU! I've seen, read and heard countless interviews with Belew and this has got to be one of the very best. Love your channel. THANK YOU. This is far from the only great interview on your channel, but this is definitely a special one.

"It's a dead end street to do something as old as 1969, might as well do a Beatle medley if you're gonna do that" This part is too funny not only since they would play it again in 95, but cover Free As A Bird as well. Wonder how much it was intentional now.
Lone rino is my favorite record in the world.......fantastic songs, wild creative guitar sounds, and the slippery fretless bass is very distinct....he voice soars and the whole record just sounds like the best parts of Bowie, Zappa, talking heads and crimson....brilliant
"Most people think it's about a Rubik's Cube" OH MY GOD I've always thought that was what Indiscipline was about. As much as I can remember, I never mentioned that to anybody else. Turns out it was about a painting by Ade's wife.

Very cool! He sounds like a downed to earth person.
Adrian is such a genuinely nice person and that really comes through in this interview.

OH
MY
GOD
I've always thought that was what Indiscipline was about. As much as I can remember, I never mentioned that to anybody else.
Turns out it was about a painting by Ade's wife.
Awesome.
Nice unassuming sensible chap
This sounds like it was meant for a music magazine, so you read the transcript instead of hearing it.
I say that, because it's obviously a telephone interview, and that is usually considered too low-quality for radio use.
It was for a local newspaper.
Who's the "Dylan" at 10:09?
I have been trying to figure this out too. If you find out please let me know.
