@@Lambdasonddd yes pretty much everything. Engine is based on Opel / gm family 2, so parts fit from opel cars and suspension is made by lotus so parts are available too. Also in my country we have last surviving importer of original Daewoo parts from Korea. They are bit more expensive but still available.

It has a very distinctive face, instantly recognisable as a Daewoo. Can't say the same about most other cars even today.

I had a 99 Leganza way back in 2009 for my first car. It had 100,000km and was immaculate but had a lot of issues! AC was broken, heater core rusted out, had the head reconditioned before i bought it and then the main bearings started failing. It would idle for 30 seconds and then start chugging until u revved it. Sometimes it wouldn't start at all for ages in the morning. It was pretty amazing how crap it was for such a well maintained low km car. I guess thats why they are mostly gone! My dad had a manual Lanos tho and that was a great car !

This was a quite popular car in Poland, where im from, and where Leganza was produced.
Cheapest car in its class. Ugly interior. Technically connected with Opel/GM. Engines were quite reliable (Opel Ecotec, iirc) many of them had LPG.
Have not seen a single one on the road from ~5 years.

The Daewoo Leganza was pretty luxurious, but not as luxurious as luxury cars of its generation, despite its affordability. Now that’s what you call an “Affordable Luxury Experience”. 👍 Although the Leganza wasn’t a very safe car. It doesn’t have a very strong safety cage and has weak structural integrity.

@@moeanthony9308 did you owned one, when you can say it was a garbage and pit of issues?? first 3 years were covered by Warranty (that many companies later copied from daewoo) that covered parts and labor. @@lordmmx1303 Hahahaha.Dude that was eloquently said. A poet and doesn't know it. Bahahahaha.
Look folks we have a comedian. Why would any one feel that good about a company that gives me a car under warranty endless? Besides that, my Porsche dealer always looked after me in service or not. Second of course I knew a few people who owned this death trap of a car. More the reason to proudly say I didn't own one. They actually never drove it because it was in for service so often.
Are you trying to be funny? A smart a*s? or lack there of kindergarten. Please tell us.
But wait you probably owned a Daewoo, no need necessary to respond.
And you have the odeasity to call yourself a Tuner? It's no wonder Daewoo fan boy

@@moeanthony9308 first of all, i'm not a car tuner. Anyway, your Porsche (Volkswagen) dealer learned it's customer service from daewoo. Literally copied it. Also porsche worked on leganza with daewoo (engine and brakes are tuned by Porsche). And yes one of cars i own is actually a Leganza (next to bmw x5, vw golf mk6 and opel crossland x). And the thing is , leganza is the most reliable of them all.

well... company would be fine, but founder and CEO did some trickery with financial books and when asian financial crisis hit in 1999, he believed they will survive and kept on taking over other companies. I think Ssangyong was a taken over company that broke Daewoo's neck. Kia and Hyundai are one company, but they did opposite of what Daewoo did. they shrunk down divisions to survive.

The Leganza was a cheaply made car..the exterior felt like it was made from recicled coke cans and the interior..well it was o.k as long as it wasn't used in a hot country-the pollymer used for the dashboard did not last long under the sun,the roof lining started 'it's way down on your head' and the mechanic part also 'contributed' it's part in thinning your wallet... what a CRAP
