Thank you - this is very helpful! We’re traveling there for a week starting January 20/25, with someone in a wheelchair. We had specifically chosen this CB for the skyliner, which would make travel so much easier for her. Unfortunately we’ve just found out that the skyliner is usually closed for maintenance that week. So clearly our building location will a major impact on our stay.
I'm glad you found the information helpful! It's definitely important to consider accessibility, especially with the skyliner being closed. If you need any tips on alternative transportation options, feel free to ask!
Great video, I've been staying at Caribbean Beach since 1991. I remember back when the current Barbados section was "Trinidad North", and the old Barbados section was were the Riviera currently is. Just to give some added perspective as someone who has been going to this hotel for over 30 years.... Getting building 45 in Jamaica is the best experience. Equal distance from the the bus stop, Skyliner, and Port Royale. Plus if you have kids, they're going to love walking over the bridges and island to go to Port Royale for breakfast everyday. Honestly all of Jamaica is a good section. The problem is of course you can't "pre-book" anything other than preferred rooms, so you might not get Jamaica when checking in. Currently I do like the preferred rooms in Martinique. You're close to Port Royale and the Riviera Skyliner. The cons for Martinique are that you're the first bus pickup, which means you have to traverse around the entire resort before heading the park. The pro though (if you're someone like me who likes to rope drop and spend the entire day at the parks) is you're the FIRST drop off. It's really nice to be the first group off the bus after spending 10+ hours in the parks.
Thanks for watching my video on Caribean Beach. Here's a link to my site where you can find my favorite rooms at this hotel orlandoparksguy.com/blog/best-rooms-at-disneys-caribbean-beach-resort And here's a link to even more information about Walt Disney World hotels orlandoparksguy.com/brochures

This video has such great information. Thank you so much. How far of a walk is Barbados to the skyliner? Building 32 as you recommend.
Thanks! I’m glad you like the video. It’s about an 8 minute walk to Skyliner from there.
very helpful! gracias
Glad you found it helpful!
Does anybody know how far the walk is from Jamaica 44 to both the Main Lobby and the Skyliner? It kinda looks in the middle but just wanting to check!
44 is about an 8 min walk to Skyliner and about 10 min to Old Port Royale. It’s a good location.
@@orlandoparksguy thank you! This is very helpful
