For a moderate hotel, it looks like a inexpensive Model-6 at Hilton prices (e.g. Aug 1: 293.00 at Caribbean Beach, 140.00 at Hilton Disney Springs)

Husband and I checked into CBR on OPENING DAY Oct. 1988. Yes it was a value then. No internet then... I found out about it, months ahead of opening , when we had to change the FW ressies we were going to share with another couple (they backed out). Phone CM was "excited" to offer us this new "value" option! Was less than $100 a night... I want to say $78/ngt (?). First and only time I ever stayed in a hotel room where I was the first guest EVER! So cool! Not all of the resort was completed at that time. We stayed in the Martinique section. On the way to the park, that first day, it was just us and the bus driver! I will always remember the age of the resort bc we took home a souvenir in the form of our first child! LOL

I stayed at Caribbean beach about two years ago. I really liked the resort, but the rooms were so dark. This is much better. They kept a lot of the original furniture but brightened the room up with new paint. And they got rid of the carpeting! Thank god. Hotel carpets gross me out.

My sister in law thinks that it would be a good idea to have the shower and toilet be in separate parts of the bathroom. That way Two people could use them at the same time

They should've updated the shower to have the rain and handheld shower head. I love that at Coronado Springs.

Was in one of these new rooms in August. Everything was new and it was great. Yes, the mattresses were new and fantastic! I think I was the first person to stay in the room since remodeling, and it was so comfortable. Love this resort for transportation access and the food.

PS: NEVER use those USB outlets to charge your powerbank. I lost a good one because of this, and when I went to the concierge to ask them to dispose it properly, they told me this happens very often to guests.

Being a 4ft 11 inch woman, I'd fit in the fth bed (haha). Love the room because keeping old with the new updates is always my way to go. I agree on the bench though. Probably had remnants somewhere or a fantastic discount on the fabric.

Thanks for posting! We stayed here last year and loved it! This seems to address the only complaints I had (disgusting hotel carpet, no room for luggage, No temp control, and shower curtain looked cheap and ugly). Literally everything I didn't like have been fixed! I actually would prefer a little color instead of the white but it does make it look open and clean comparatively. Also that picture on the right of the 5th sleeper not matching the left side drives me nuts..... OCD.... I am glad I chose to book our next trip here again. Has the best overall everything. Pool, bus pickup stations, and of course Skyliner. I do think its about time they upgrade those AC units though... SUPER loud when it's hot out but we are staying in October this time.

I just stayed at Caribbean Beach Resort for the first time and I loved it. My only issue was that the breakfast wasn't great, but I was close enough to Riviera that I went to Primo Piatto every morning, and that was wonderful. I think it's now my second favorite resort, behind Polynesian. Glad it's getting some love.

Sure, it does look nice, but where's the theming? Yes, I know it's a common complaint these days, but it's frustrating seeing that no one there seems to care about it. Take away some perks, take away theming, and there's fewer and fewer reasons to stay there. But now those flat character paintings above the bed in the value resorts look better in comparison.

This room looks unfinished. The light fixtures don’t match the theming, the bathroom doors and 5th sleeper unit don’t match the Caribbean airiness they’re going for. I’m happy the carpet and brown/yellows are mostly gone but they just didn’t finish this all the way through :(

*looks at photos on disney's site showing the old rooms* The new floors and raised beds are fine, but I honestly feel the colors in the old room were more vibrant and interesting. This new color palate is just so stale to me for some reason... Maybe if they'd got new bed runners and decorative pillows on the beds it would be better? It just feels so bare and sterile... Maybe an accent wall?

We stayed in October and liked the room well enough. The curtains need to be replaced, a really uninteresting choice. The panel next to the door is weird and how they covered it was obvious. Like the storage, barn doors, coffee bar area and having the table and bench is a plus. I don't mind the floor but ours had sand on it so I wore my sandals in the room. They did clean on day 2 (when are they cleaning every day) and the floor was cleaned better than upon check in.

when i stayed at CB, back in 1989, the rooms were Gorgeous!! the colors, were turquoise, Yellow, Pink, *very Nautical and Caribbean Looking. Then family members stayed AT CB and told me the rooms were all dark, and depressing, I said wow what happened??? Why would they make these room all dark, and not remodel, like they were when they were first opened, and just removed the carpeting, and put nice wood floors, which they have done, but the rooms; are basically the same. (now all the Pirates room have been remodeled to Ariel, and they look beautiful!! the bathrooms with the 2 sinks, and the closet, is exactly what the guest need....Hopefully they will remodel these DARK ROOMS....IT'S JUST NOT THE CARRIBEAN LOOK!! the prices have increased, as well!!

Still ugly, just slightly less dark and depressing 😬😁 They could’ve put a more exciting color or shade of blue on the walls to better blend with the light fixtures. The art choice is horrendous imo and the curtains are OK - but white will get grubby hand prints quick b/c people don’t use the pulls, they didn’t even try with the shower curtain. Better than before - but still not at all exciting & doesn’t carry the vibe from outside resort to inside the room.
