The giant mural does a good job of toning down the mega blue wall, maybe the living room needs one. It seems to have merged some ideas from the WDW DVC properties.
I agree, the blue is too much, the couch looks like a big red germ sponge and the black chair rails look very 90s hospital waiting room. It’s definitely an improvement over the old look but if I’m paying this rate I’d rather stay at the Disneyland hotel.
Tom, I think Disney is really missing out by not selling a Luxo Jr. lamp at the resort store. Luxo is an actual brand of high-quality task and artist’s lamps (where Pixar got the idea decades ago) so Disney needs to partner with them!
Hey, Tom! Are the Pixar toiletries in the shower actually H2O product in the dispensers? I heard Disney purchased the H2O formula. Thanks for the room tours. 😊
Great tour, you're right about the blue -- it's a lot. Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet up last week -- we definitely went in a different direction than expected.
THANK YOU so much for making and posting this very detailed video! I truly appreciate the valuable info. I suspected that I would need this much space for my family, but without any photos on the Disney website of this one bedroom suite, I was left to imagine what it may look like and try to compare that to a standard room (which isn’t much better and shows only one photo). Thanks again! Now, if we could only do something about the price. 😅🤣
I would love to stay in this handicap accessible suite. Will never - $1125 per night? 5 night stay + resort fees + tax + pesky parking of $+40 A day. Plus tickets, lightning lane. ill be happy to stay at hojos
I agree with you Tom. There is way too much blue in both sides of this room. Mr Marriott of Marriott hotels NEVER allows blue in any of their hotels as he personally feels it makes the rooms feel too cold and too small. So when one finds it in their hotels, it is judiciously integrated into the design.
This is a Pixar themed hotel, why not do individual movie themed rooms? Instead they theme the rooms based on the luxo lamp and ball, who would be excited for that? Imagine getting a monsters inc room, or a Toy Story room where the proportions are larger, or a finding Nemo room where you look like you’re in a fish tank. These are simple obvious things but of course they go with the bare minimum of creativity because they know no matter how little they do people will pay quadruple the price to stay here vs the much cheaper hotels literally across the street
I liked the standard room, but this suite just has an off putting vibe. It looks like they put left over furniture from a standard room in a large empty space, which there is too much of. It doesn’t work. And too much of a blue wall. Would rather pay for 2 standard rooms. This is a miss. Looks like they cut out a door between two former standard rooms, took the beds out of one and added a bigger couch and a round table and are trying to call it a 1BR suite instead of connecting rooms. And it’s cheaper to book 2 rooms!
In the one bedroom. Agree to much blue. Also they should have moved that couch to the center of that wall and put a Murphy bed on the left since it looks like the wall already is pushed back about a foot. But they didn’t ask me.
The pricing is always insane for this hotel but it always sells out because of their main customer base - over 13% of Cali makes over $200k/yr so 1.7m potential households that can afford a $4k Disney trip a couple times a year without breaking a sweat.
The off-nature of that Pixar Hotel room (it gives one the blues {{[rim shot}}}) makes me think of what has been done to the Ft Wilderness cabins (the logo too) or the de-theming of the Grand Floridian. A creative, political pall has come over the Disney Co.
The new style of room is just boring, kind of a let down. If you think of themed it looks like any other modern hotel with just Disney art, kind of a big yawn
This is horrible! I’ve seen better theming at children’s hospitals. The Howard Johnson on the other side of the parks has better theming than this room and it’s a third of the price and I think they actually give you free breakfast as well. There is nothing yet that I have seen from any park other than Tokyo that would make me wanna come back to Disney from going to other parks, and experiencing other places rather than Disney. My love of Disney is almost all gone. 🤬 SMH
Suite looks so cheap! What a ripoff. That couch and blue wall is really bad. 1st week, stuff should not happen? Disney doesn't care anymore. Small carpet, cheap floor. It's probably linoleum. Hahaha! Pull out couch looks like garbage. Ridiculous. I don't want to conserve and use a dirty towel. Furniture looks cheap. Small art in a big wall near bathroom, and at the couch. Gross.
You guys need to stop with your racism in your shows and podcast. You keep ignoring my comments under different videos that are related to these racist jokes. shame on you
Literally if this was half price I would consider it. $600 price range would be great. But $1125?!
Well that’s the first time I’ve seen a sectional in a Disney hotel or any hotel! Cool room!
It's also the ugliest sectional of all time lol
The giant mural does a good job of toning down the mega blue wall, maybe the living room needs one. It seems to have merged some ideas from the WDW DVC properties.
What are the doors just outside the room doors for?
I want to but the lamp. Is it in the gift shop!
It is not
There are so many artistic ways to do the ball as well… kinda like hidden Mickey’s, but hidden luxos

This is tough unsure when I go Pixar Place or Disneyland Hotel. So tough and to lazy to move mid stay

Nice room to much for me❤❤

It’s got a little bit of an Aloft room by Marriott going on…

JESUS $1125 A NIGHT!

Is it really? When I'm staying in July, a standard room is about $600. It was cheaper for me to get the 1br suite than 2 rooms
PIXAR HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i wish you would have pulled the sofa of the couch out. i want to see how the room looks with that pulled out
We did…
The narrator says 2 double beds, but the website says 2 queen beds. Does anyone know for a fact whether the beds are double or queen? TY

WDW News sequel to Seeing Red. Seeing BLUE!!
Still should have had drawers for kid’s clothes in the main room🫤
There’s drawers and a closet
$1125 for this a night? Jesus christ!
My dream vacation was $9,800 before tickets for the wheelchair accessible room! Ouch!

I’d rather spend that money going to Las Vegas during Super Bowl weekend.
Many affluent people will pay it
Holy crap.
I’m totally unimpressed with this suite!
Where is the kitchen
This is joyless..Thank you Imagineers who gave us Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, Original Polynesian, Contemporary ..Detheming😞😞
How is this different from the Contemporary?

@@WDWNT original Contemporary
@@gridley yes!!
First comment lol

I understand why you’re doing it but for goodness sake so we just get a quicker tour of the room with all that unnecessary talking
Just turn up the speed so we don’t have to deprive other viewers of the details then
