Ayanna, I use full cover fake nails too because I am allergic to acrylic and gels!! I gotta tell ya though, I paint mine up BEFORE I glue them on. Just wrap a little duct tape on the end of cuticle sticks, press the nail onto it, paint and decorate. Let them dry--(I have at least 10 sets ready to go ahead of time!!) then glue them to my natural nail. NO MESS!! You are too cute, thanks for the video!
Same! I cut and shape them and then tape to a q-tip, paint and let dry over night.

A company sent me fake nails but no glue and I was like wtf do I use. I went to the dollar store and there was no glue?? It leaked out the bottom LOL!!!!! So my bf suggested Krazy glue and I side eyed him.. so I youtubed it and WALAAAAAAA! Here you are lol! 1 new subscriber!

I ordered some fake nails that came with glue stickers for peel of nails. They didnt even last 2 hours. I was telling everyone "I need to get nail glue and see if they will stick". My boyfriend just got back from the store and handed me super glue. 🤷🤦 I see the package says you can use on nails but I wasn't sure the best way to get them off.
After preparing & alcohol cleansing my nail bed & lightly filing nail to remove the shine, I use brush-on nail glue to glue on a nail tip. Cut that down to size & shape according to what you like. File nail tip to also remove the shine. Next use the same brush-on nail glue to paint the nail with the glue. Quickly dip nail in baking soda, brush off excess powder. Follow that with another layer of painted on nail glue and another layer of baking soda. Brush off excess powder again. Add another layer of nail glue. Paint your nails with nail polish of your choice. This will create very hard acrylic-like nails for pennies.

Kelly, Kelly actually shes right. Bakinsoda makes the glue dry faster and 100 times harder. Mechanics actually use this to repair car parts and auto body damage. That’s how strong it is. So yes glue will stick to anything... even cornstarch. But the scientific blend these nail companies use is actually baking soda hun.
This is my way of taking off fake nails that u put on with super glue I made it up but works
1. Get a big bowl of warm / hot water but not boiling
2. Put some soap I used dawn
3. Put your hands in and let it soak
4. Try to pick some parts of the fake nail off but not all the way
5. Still let it soak
6.take it out you have to try to almost tug it off

I love press ons because acrylic makes my nails brittle. besides i can do my nails how i want and when i want without the wait or the smell of the nail shop. major plus when you have a 10 month old and cant escape the house much. krazy glue was suggested to me by my coworker and i'm in love.

Just an fyi: put the glue on the falsie as well as your nail. This helps the nail stay on longer as well as lessens the chance of air pockets...which lessens the chance of fungus. 😉

Hmmmm I have been under the impression that super glue is identical to nail glue? Now I gotta Google some ish?....if it is NOT same, then I'll b excited. Because without fail, the regular nail glue starts failing day 1 for me so I'm in if it works. At Sally yesterday, girl said hers last if she puts down a calcium filler first so am gonna try that. Im also very aware that nails MUST not have any oils, moisture, etc in order to adhere. Besides the cost of going to a salon, the consumption of time is excessive.

Tree Hut Sugar Scrub works wonders and then dry feet off put lots of Vaseline on feet then put socks or footsies on them

Yes I love the reasons why you say you dont go to the nail salon. I love glue on nails. Hate the press on because they are joke and come right off if you wash dishes, get them wet or try to keep them on for longer then a day. The only down fail of glue nails is sometimes you cant find cute or beatuful nails that you like.

That's how mine were. They were so thin and weak it was ridiculous. And since using nail glue or super glue is way less harsh i definitely noticed my nails are way stronger and healthier now that I do them this way!
Ayanna Nzinga thank you for sharing. I also have another idea in mind using super glue and the acrylic powder but have not tried that method yet. I wonder though, is it the acrylic that softens the nail or the primer?
Ooooo I think I'll try that sometime soon. I love that idea and I've been meaning to try the powder out too! For me I don't even think its the actual acrylic thats damaging. It's more so the drill/tool they use to file and buff away so much of the top layer of the nail. Doing that weakens the nail so much over time

I agree that super glue is always better than nail glue EXCEPT Claire's nail glue that comes with the nails. That shit is CRAZY GOOD. Idk why, last me longer than 3 weeks but I like changing my nails before they grow out that much.

I did the same thing cause nail glue is hard to find here in the Philippines, and when I was in Dubai I remember buying kiss nails and the girl who’s doing promo for canned tuna told me super glue is better cause it will last longer. And I was just thinking if I can use acetone and you just confirmed it. Thanks for the additional tips
my mom bought me super glue and I didn't trust it but now I see you,also I recommend you to put a top coat of polish on your natural nail..that's what the lady at the shop where they sale fake nails

Nail glue is essentially super glue. Ingredients are pretty much the same just super glue is a stronger active glue because it has more of the ingredients in it. Also for people anyone thinking this can’t be safe, where I live doctors tell diabetics to use super glue to seal and cracks or cuts to prevent infections so it’s safe

how does your natural nails feel after you remove the false ones
When you remove the nails, the top layer of your real nail can be a little torn but it heals pretty quickly. At least thats the case for me haha.

Galina Kariean yes! That’s a good way to do it for others but my nails are very strong, and replenish themselves very quickly and I don’t have time to soak hahaha.

Yessss. I've been using super glue for the last 2 1/2 years. I was tired of paying to get my nails done and aday or two later they would brake. So i went back to the Old School way doing them myself at home with press on and the good old super glue. LOL🤗🤗🤗YESSSSS......
A few questions. Buffing you’re nails every time you remove fake nails, does’t damage and weaken nails? Wouldn’t be better to use nail remover to get rid of the glue instead of buffing?
Doesn’t at some point fake nails promote nails fungus due to the fact that moisture can infiltrate and get trapped in areas of the fake nail?

Today I used a nail glue I got for about 5$ and it's working. It's the strongest glue I've used so far. I'm happy w the results cuz all this time other nail glues lasted for only 30 min while moving very carefully they'd still come off easily.
But today it lasted me for the whole day but since I was outside the whole time and did many things I hit my nails twice so 2 came off then while I was changing another one came off. But I washed them with soap for a long time w no problems and I can always glue them back in a few seconds.
So they last and resist water if only u move normally, but they're not strong enough to resist accidents and strong hits. Which is exactly what I want while staying home and going out sometimes cuz I wouldn't want to shower w them on and keep them for so long n suffer while taking them off. They're strong enough for me to eat and type and do stuff like I normally do everyday, I mean it's my vacation so I'm not doing much work. Talk about lazy..
If I had a very busy life and scheduled I'd probably use super glue or something.

The normal nail glue doesn’t work a lot on me, my nails fall off with nail glue in like 2 days

Try not to touch your hair as much as possible as this can result in those little hairs getting stuck under tour nail 💞

Super glue is the same exact thing as nail glue with the same ingredients and crap so Lolol I guess that disclaimer goes with nail glue too!
if you guys want to apply two layers or something or if you’re in a hurry just make sure you have time to soak them in cold water for about 2 minutes and for every layer you’ll be good also i was super sketchy about using nail glue so it’s okay for me to use it right?

I am a male guitarist I stick on clear nails to play the guitar. I have large air pockets under the clear nail after applying them, then after a few hours the nail lifts usually at the side. Any ideas how I can prevent the large air pockets approximately over one third of the nail sometimes in two places. I have tried super glue thick and thin types, nail glue and applying thick or thin layers of glue. I’m at a loss what to do next?

Interestingly, at least to me, other videos showed the nails being painted before installation. Plenty of time to do other things while the polish dries. Everything is complete and all that needs to be done is to glue them on.
