I love press-ons, they are so much healthier than any other nail enhancements like gel, dip or acrylic. However, as a nail tech, I don’t recommend pushing anything under your cuticles. Any nail treatment or service should never be painful, even if just for a day. If you push too far or knick yourself without realizing, you’re leaving that area exposed, with the dirt that will inevitably stick to the press on tape, there’s a potential risk of infection. Just my humble opinion, great video otherwise.
Press ons are the best! Back in the day they sucked and looked so fake. They have come a long way and much improved. After a year of trial and error, this video confirms what I finally figured out. At first, I tried super glue to keep them on, after a few sets, it destroyed my nail bed and cuticles. But I wasn’t going give up just yet. I took my time and did these steps last week and so far so good just with the stickers🤞🏼 I get a lot of compliments on my nails, because they look salon quality. I’m able to keep them fresh looking every 2-3wks. Love that I can change it up at home or even traveling …pretty much anywhere anytime at my own convenience. I’ve even put a new set in my car right before an event 😅 Thank you for your video.
I somehow came across this video and I have to say "OUCH!!!! NO WAY!!!. Having been a nail tech for 25+ years, I have to say that shoving the fake nail under the cuticle line is a really bad idea. It hurts and is uncomfortable for a reason! The matrix of your nail is under there, you can see the edge of it as the half moon on your nail. If you damage that, you've damaged your nail for life. I can not recommend what she's doing in this video. I see many comments below about how using glue makes them just pop off fast, which is true. If you want a press on nail to last, use builder gel, poly gel or even a soak off gel to attach them to your nails. Clear, full cover tips (they have to be clear or close to it or the gel to cure) are all over out there and you can use those and just decorate them yourself. You can also fill them in as they grow out instead of shoving them up to your first knuckle and being in pain for a week. There are a ton of DIY Apres' dupe nails showing how to do this and yes, you might have to buy a small LED lamp but they aren't that expensive any more if you pick on up on E-Bay or Aliexpress, you can actually get everything that you'd need to use. This video, especially the shoving the nail under the cuticle edge is totally wrong. Some of you may disagree and that's fine, they are your nails, do with them what you please but honestly, shoving a plastic nail under and into your nail matrix is not good. That's why it hurts.
but that all need a lot of time.i use these nails too.i dont push them unter the cuticle in that point i have to agree.but they stay about two weeks!and after two werks there is a bit grown out then i clean and let them stay in the air over night.it takes 5 min to put them on and i always have clean cheap nailart without spending hours on them.i dont have the time for that between working cooking clean up... mommystuff...the less time i have i really need to relax!and it dont harm your natural nail like gel ect.
Prima Peggy she doesn’t mind people using this just don’t push it under the cuticle that’s all. You can also use gel instead of glue and it will last a month. And also Gel doesn’t ruin the nails unless you pick it off.
Well not every lady has money to go to salon. I use press on nails all the time and never had any pain. I use super glue and there has been absolutely no damage. My mom is a nail tech too so she can confirm I suffered no damage
@@DT-fd7bj and how to get them off then?u need to file if you use gel instead of the doubleside glue pads.my nails grow fast and after two weeks its time to change because of the growb out.
Besides the way she pushed the fake nails under her cuticle, you also shouldn't put fake nails on right after taking a shower. Your nail plate absorbs a lot of water, and should be given a chance to evaporate out the water before covering it in plastic.
Right when I put one on I hold that finger under my hair dryer for a few seconds to warm it up then I press down on them again until it cools. I swear it works especially to seal the edges so no more rogue hair slides under the nail!
Good idea but I don't know if I have it In my mind right.... lol. So I warm my natural nail up then press the fake nail on my hot nail to help seal?? Imq try it anyways 🤣
My press-ons stay on for more than 2 weeks and I definitely do NOT have to do that kind of damage to my cuticles to get that kind of performance. Every nail tech I've ever met has said that pushing cuticles back that far is bad: It opens you up to infection, and even when it's just irritated it looks bad.
I can’t believe this lady thought it was a smart idea to make a video talking about how you should potentially damage your nail beds so you have “2 or 3 extra days without that grow out” and even goes as far as to say it’s sore the next day but it’s worth it. A perfect example of why people who don’t specialize in specific topics should not go online and make videos for the public saying whatever they want. I don’t even comment on RUclips videos but I’m a certified esthetician and idk how I came across this video but I’m here to say don’t do this
I love the "imPRESS" sticky nails, but even they will pop off pretty soon. I would usually have one or two that would pop off within a day. I started lightly filing the top of each nail after doing the steps you showed, but I also bought some glue at the Family Dollar store. It's the strongest glue I've ever used and it's cheap. It's from LA Colors. I apply a thin layer over the nail, put the fingernail on, then press/hold for about 15-20 seconds. This allows the glue from the nail to stick to the super strong regular glue and it's about 2 weeks before I notice any become loose and usually, only 2 or 3 become loose. They still don't fall off. I can then add a small amount of glue where it's loose and press them back on.
Not being rude but do you do any housework? Mine don’t even last a few hours. Even today last night did a whole set looked great, wear gloves when doing dishes, I hate and got rid of my dishwasher, I wear my gloves for all housework. Tonight I made biscuits for my husband put on the oven mitts carefully, one on each finger on each hand I can feel coming lose sure enough they came off. Not to be gross one even came off in the bathroom, long story short by the time I got done this evening, I have thumb left on my right hand, and 3 on my left hand from pinky to middle finger. This is every time I put these on. I’ve done them with very strong nail glue, same. What am I doing wrong. I stopped going to the salon a few months back cuz I no longer work and 80.00 was just not doable anymore. Same with the builder gel, get lifting after like 5 hrs. If I have to watch one more video I’m going to poke my eyes out😅. So what are you doing that they last 3 wks or not doing😊 TNX
They work. I’m in the daycare industry and a set of impress last me about 9 days but, that’s with art projects, hand sanitizers and crazy hand washing.
Same here . Mine last 7-9 days . Then they fallen off. My cuticles grow fast and I don’t like to see it, so I take them off anyway. I don’t know how to keep them on for a 30 days ... they will be scratched by doing shores . Some styles which have solid color only I paint with glitter ✨. To make them last longer . But there is no glue I found to keep them “forever “- 30 days
I started using a base gel polish instead of nail glue to attach them and it seals the edges better and cover with a topcoat which keeps out moisture and lifting. You wouldn’t want them placed too close to the cuticle just to get that seal. You could file around the base lightly to blend the nail, if it’s not an already designed nail.
Okay, I have a tip. I love these nails because they come with the sticky glue, in addition to the sticky glue I always add nail glue and wow. They last forever.
Please don't shove the nail under your cuticle. That is a breeding ground for an infection. You can do whatever you want it's your nails, please don't take any offense to what I'm saying, and if you haven't got an infection, that's great. Have a nice night 🙂
Seeing the nail go under your cuticles made me gag lol. I like using 100 % acetone before putting on my nails. Alcohol to disinfect then acetone to dehydrate even more. I also like to file the tab on the tip before putting them on since it's kinda scratchy.
If you have a nail dremmel, to fix the gap between the real and false nail just fill the gap carefully with nail glue and then smooth it out underneath with the dremmel. :)
Trying to file them right away was my #1 mistake. It wiggled them way too much and majorly weakened the adhesive. I’ve found that they clip really well with nail clippers though, so I do as much as I can with those and then just do the last little bit with a file 😁
I love Impress! I just got 14 days out of a set. I could have gone longer but just HAD to get them off....They were also too long for my taste and they dont always look that great after you file them depending on the design/color of the mail.
I have been doing my own nails, using store bought press ons since I was old enough to use the glue lol. Manufacturers have come a long way since then and I love all the new stuff. HOWEVER the IMPRESS nails are NOT meant to be a nail extension. The material is MUCH softer than the normal KISS nails. This particular product is meant to cover your natural nail imitating a gel manicure. This is why after a few weeks your nails looked so bad and curved.
Thank you so much for the tips, my nails have been on for over two weeks and only one popped off a bit but I stuck a little nail glue under the edge to keep it from lifting off. Dashing Diva is my favorite so far but Kiss Impress is my second, I haven’t paid for a manicure since before Rona. Thanks again!
I love those nails! I wear them all the time and change them up every week! They have plain solid colors now with no accents which I love! They have them at cvs and Ulta. I also push mine under my cuticle and you’re the only other person I’ve seen that does that.
I do this as well and I think the other posters are not aware that you can only push something under the cuticle a little, just under the edge. The lady in the video is not telling you to push the nail under the cuticle and then tap the end with a hammer...just under the edge a little, not until you scream or draw blood, ok?
You’re welcome! I would want to mention though that I personally don’t wear these nails often back to back for like months at a time. If you’re wanting to have nails done for a longer continuous period of time I think a real nail pro would give better advice haha
I add a thin line of glue around the stick thing, then a tiny dot in the middle of the nail, right before applying. I never dug it into my cuticle. My press ones lasted weeks, with 5 kids, young children in baths.. dishes, no dish washer.. all that stuff. I only had to repair two, but they stuck through till the end.
This is really helpful! I used to get my nails done a lot and i was so upset when the nail salons closed so i went off and bought some press ons i didnt expect for them to last but this video gave me a lot of hope thanks!
I had tried Kisspress on nails with the super glue. They fell off within an hour of application.😏 However I recently bought the Impress nail set which is supposedly made from the same Kiss company. The Impress nails with the adhesive peel off, they're great. I put them on and they stick effortlessly quickly on top of my nail and last long and I am very pleased and happy. Washing and doing chores and they're still on, it's great☺☺. Don't buy the super glue ones unless you want to be glueing on nails every half hour.😄😄
It’s all about how you prep. I’ve used the kissnails for years, with the glue (it’s not super glue btw) and mine stay one for 2-3 weeks at a time without any popping off, and I’ve got a busy lifestyle and I’m typing all day for work.
Hi, really nice video. I was on the fence for the longest time because in the package, the nails didn't look like they'd fit. But, I tried a box and was hooked. It's been a couple of years and rarely am I not wearing a set. Along with the ImPress, Dashing Diva makes nice press ons too although I do prefer the ImPress. Prep work is key although for me, I am not a fan of pushing back your cuticles. Instead, I still push the nail slightly under the cuticle and yeah, they really do look salon professional. I use a glass file because it's kinder to the edges of my nails when filing. Also, after I use the alcohol rub and my nails are dry, I lightly buff them with a light grit buffing block, then press each nail a full minute. It really helps the adhesive stick. Also do them at night before bed without getting my hands wet for about 8 hours. I can get 3 weeks but tend to switch them out after 2 and I usually wait 24 hrs before applying a new set.
Hi Jilly - oooh I'll have to check out Dashing Diva. Good point on pushing the nail slightly under the cuticle. That's probably sufficient and won't hurt. I have a glass file that has lasted me a long time. More sustainable too. Pressing each nail a full minute is actually a good idea - I haven't tried that but I will! And good call on doing it before bed so that the tape can really stick and set. What length do you usually go for?
@@CrystalClues Hi again, I have tried the newer medium length, but find they really are too long for daily activities, so I tend to go for the short which looks lovely and has a salon look to them. I do have several spare boxes of the medium and I wonder if the sides could be cut so the nail could be a ballerina or coffin shape. I will try that for the next set and let you know. I made the cuticle comment because I think what so many forget is the part of the nail where the cuticle is alive and growing, so over time, pushing back and or even cutting the cuticles could not only harm the skin and nail, but cause infection. Btw, really enjoying your channel. :)
Jilly I usually wear medium too but the short sounds like the most long lasting because the edge is less likely to get caught on something. You have a strong point on not hurting the cuticles because you’re SO right, over time it can really affect how it grows... I’ll be honest I didn’t think about that so thanks for bringing that up Jilly. I tend to alternate between glue, bare nails, and the press ons. Do you use polish anymore or are you mostly done with that? Haha
@@CrystalClues I don't wear medium as often, and the short are more long lasting. I type, do dishes, laundry etc, just don't put pressure on the tips, like open can tabs or open boxes. I do prefer the short length because without pushing your cuticles back, the nails even fitted in are long enough. I haven't used glue in over a year because it did damage my nails. Press on with adhesives....bare nails only to let them breathe a day or two. Otherwise ImPress or Dashing Diva only. If I am wearing a French manicure set I will use colored polish just on the white tip for something different.
I've been wearing press on nails off and on for ten years. Your video really helped them last longer. I've been doing them right after my shower and don't cut my nails all the way down. I'm getting ten days wear out of them sometimes not even having to replace any! I actually took them off at ten days because I wanted to try a new set. I would be lucky before to get two days. I bought medium one's and cut them short. I bought the petites recently and they're my favorite. Thanks for your info!!
That's crazy!! The best thing to do is soften cuticles in a bowl of soapy, warm water. Then, it will be much easier to push them back, instead hurting your nails too much. It looks very painful what she's doing. Ouch!!
I like the press-ons too but I did find that after wearing them for a while they did damage my nails. I switched back to occasionally wear polish and save the press-ons for special events. They are much better than the damage of acrylic nails though. Also I found as they start lifting my hair gets caught under the side edges of the nails (when I am blow drying or washing my hair).
Thanks girl! I'll keep that in mind when I get more nails next year because in the meantime minor falling off right now and I can't type because I'm using the microphone which is a great solution by the way. I really appreciate the tips
fortune hmm not sure what you mean? I just pop the impress nails on and use a clear polish underneath the nail so the adhesive underneath doesn’t stick to anything or get anything stuck to it. It dries really quickly.
@@briannamata1691 gotcha thanks so much Brianna! I think it's important to feel good during this time yknow. Physically, mentally emotionally. And if press on nails do it, well so be it right? thx for the tip trying it now! Be well all.
I’ve worn Kiss Nails (Broadway previously) for over 25 years - short and long - and they’ve always worked beautifully, staying put for approximately 3 weeks.
i FLINCHED in pain when she said to........ i'm so glad that the top comments are saying how dangerous it is to do that! that's absolutely crazy behaviour!
use nail glue instead of the sticky tape thing she used. Also just like she did wipe your nails with alcohol but also buff/file your nail bed with a nail fine to make it rough and remove any shine. That helps the glue stick better. and hold it down for 15-30 seconds to make sure it adheres properly
Good morning. I have a question i work cleaning so that involves lots of water, i use gloves but my hands still sweat inside. What would u recommend me to do? Thank you & have a bless day.
@@michaelanngreenfield3820 u can still do them just use good nail glue and try to do it as soon as ur off so u have the most time to keep them dry. Also make sure u push cuticles back n file for a dry/rough nail to adhere to the press on nail
Thank you so much! An excellent step by step tutorial. I'm so glad I watched this first. This will be my furst time using stick on nails. You are also beautiful and have a sweet voice. I like how you got right to the point.
Thank you so much for this video. I've never done false nails before. I'm a nail beginner lol. It was really hard finding a video where they use the tape. Great job. If you have any other advice I'm fully listening. Thank you
Definitely don't push the nails so far into the cuticle as she's showing in the video. Read the rest of the comments on this video from nail techs, it really opens you up to infection and damaging your nails.
thank you so much for this video! I really loved your explanation. It was very informative. I will not be going to salons anymore and just buying press-on nails from now on!
I like these 💅. I buy them when i want a quick change. I usually wear my natural nails filed neatly. Because, I don't like the smell of real nail polish on my hand it bothers my asthma. They stay for a week. Thanks for sharing. 💐🌟👍😊
What's your experience with having press ons and working with oils? I have a lot of oils in my personal hygiene routine and I know glues and oils don't really mix. Wondering if that is the case here?
DO NOT DO THIS! I followed this video and I super regret it. It’s been 2 years and my nail is still deformed. I wish this video would get taken down because it’s really bad information. I got mould forming under the nails which I couldn’t see obviously because I was trying to make them last and they were shoved under the cuticles. My nail was green for a month until it grew out again. This deterred me for ever messing with my nails again, but now my nail is just simply not smooth anymore.
This happened to me but it was my fault, I left my nails on too long and I don’t use dish gloves so dirty water got under the nail and form bacteria 🦠. Be careful not to blame someone else’s win for your mistake.
I'm sorry this happened to you. I had damage when i removed a gel-type nail from my thumb. After that started having permanent veetical split on my thumbnail. But the dermatologist said the gel nail and removal had nothing to do with it; it was a flaw that started naturally. Later I found out my Mom has a similar thing in the same thumb,so it'a apparently genetic. It was just timing that made the nail treatment seam to have caused it.
@@Lorlornyo not just press on nails but if you do any other nails extensions, if during the process you perform it incorrectly or unintentionally leave a gap of air in between, it will allow moldy to develop. 😢
Hi, I appreciate your video. I tried & followed directions for Impress mani nails but the next day they are lifting & don’t feel like liquid glue nails do. Can I use brush on glue before applying glue tab nails?
Hmmm. Fyi! The tab goes on the cuticle side down. Should not be on top of finished nail. I loved my first attempt. Two years later using the 2nd set from same pkg. So they hv a great shelf life. Only prob is limited ccolors esp in Sm. But love the glitter accents! ✨️ 💛 💕
I like press on nails however, i have a job that requires me to wash my hands several times a day. I would love it if they made press on water resistant.
I am a hair stylist💇♀️ and nail tech,💅🏼I use the press on w/o the glue tabs… I use either super glue or crazy glue and they stay on for about 10 days. Some of the nail brands are too flimsy and bend and break too easy but the gel ones are great. I find them at Walgreens or CVS. Think Walmart has them too… they run about $8-$11. I can’t use the tabs for some reason the jus lift right away and get my clients and my hair stuck underneath 🤷🏻♀️ maybe I’ll try the blow dryer and punch down like someone else said.
You might want to watch the time you spend in the shower because your nails absorb water and when you put on the press on it will leak water just a tip but it may be different from person to person. Love this vid by the way super good and informative.
There's a good nail care tool out there called, stone scrub. It's a stick with a quartz stone scrub at the end of it, to get rid of that under cuticle crud! (Very useful)
Wow I thought I was the only one that pushed them down like that but glad I see other people do it too. I can’t believe how everyone is freaking out. It’s because they’ve never done it. It only hurts if you do it wrong
HELP: How do you prevent leaving a slight gap in the cuticle area so when you’re doing your hair - it doesn’t get caught in between strands!? I don’t want to push them all the way up the cuticle but it is annoying to have that slight edge gap 😭
I just recently stopped biting my nails and now have nails. I was so sad when I broke one. I bought a set of press on nails to make the broken one even with the others. Works great.
@@jadoplaydoh1116 I have always bitten them but when this Covid 19 came upon us and they said to wash your hands after you touch anything and don't touch your face, I just thought I can't be doing that. It seemed easy because I wanted to do it to protect myself. I also started using nail hardener and polished them and took time to make them look good. Good luck to you. I know it's hard.
Ms,Ms Jellybean what i did to stop biting my nails was always wear acrylic or press on/always have them nicely painted. and since i bit my nails out of anxiety i’ve found that messing with things (such as a button on my shirt or the end of my skirt) and playing with my hair are what i’ve turned too instead of biting my nails :) sorry it’s a late reply
"The line of crud" is your cuticle on your nail bed and you should not sea saw your natural nails with a nail file. You should file one way only. It allows water in as you break the seal of the nail and causes jazzed edges where the water is then absorbed and when it dries causes lifting and chipping like with chipboard.
I just don't understand all these RUclipsrs stating that these nails stay on for so long??? I've had only bad experience with these nails. I put them on on a Sunday for work Monday, come Monday morning I arrive at work and 1 is already popping off!! And yes I did all the proper prep. What can I be doing wrong that these YTubers make them last for a month???? Hard to believe...
2 things: 1. Do not push a foreign object up under your cuticle. That is unsafe, and you’re just asking to damage your nail matrix. Damaging the matrix can lead to rough and abnormal nail growth for the rest of your life. 2. Do not keep nails like this on for a month. She told you that crud can get between the nails. Washing your hands will put water between the nails that can’t dry. You know who LOVES warm, moist areas? FUNGI and MOLD. Unless you want to end up with a case of onychomycosis that will cause your nail to thicken and turn yellow and possibly fall off, do not keep these on for more than a week or so.
Thanks for the insightful video! I would give press on a try now :) I was wondering why you seem so familiar and then I realized you are Jasmine's sister! Keep up the great work!
I just cut my cuticles, that's something I am used to doing in brazil then besides de sticker I also add glue, and they last 2 weeks ( I remove them because I don't like my nail showing when its growing ) but I do glue a bit inside of the cuticle but never too much that it will hurt me
I watched another video on your tube with a lady using the Kiss jeweled nails and she used kiss nail glue and it lasted 3 weeks. She said do them at night to avoid dipping them in water for the few couple of hours and they will last. Also I saw in the comments someone said using gorilla brush on glue works well also and is not harsh like going to the salon. So I may try that too.
I put them under my cuticle too! Once you complete the dry manicure they are already have a space. That’s a good 1-2 weeks worth of real estate space there. Doesn’t hurt. You don’t jam them in there to the point of pain. It works. Trust me. No blood. No pain. Sensitive? A bit. If it hurts then move it up ever so slightly. I always use dehydrator. And glue. No tape.
Great video, thanks. I tried press on nails once years ago and they came off straight away. So I started getting my nails done at the salon. However it's very expensive. I just had the idea that perhaps there's a way to prepare them so that won't happen.
Love how I'm learning more in the comment section than I am in the video 😅 thank you to those who took time in sharing your knowledge 💕

Yep and for me the glue on the end of the nail would stick out and catch little fuz balls my nails looked fuzzy LOL
Agreed!!!
Easy way to avoid waiting 24 hours before filing the tabs off... file the tabs off BEFORE applying the nail! No waiting necessary. 😊
Yass!!
I thought the same 🙂
What tabs?
If you mean the applicator tab then how will you apply them??

Nice 👍🏽

So you use glue with the impress nails?
I have had my set on for 3 weeks and counting using your method!
This is so great to hear! Thank you for reporting back!

Hi Brittinee wow that’s awesome. Yeah I can really imagine how much you use your hands and nails, picking up small objects too
Where do u find these nails?
@@soniachristie944 any drugstore or larger grocery stores, anywhere you can buy makeup. Some clothing stores too.

Totally fair. Thanks for the comment Rogue.
Does the base gel polish make the nail stick? How do you do that? Do u cure it with LED ?
@@Hiinezz I'm wondering the same bc I thought it won't stick with a UV lamp unless it is a clear nail.

Okay, I have a tip. I love these nails because they come with the sticky glue, in addition to the sticky glue I always add nail glue and wow. They last forever.
I have nails coming and I was thinking of that
These nails she put on with glue tabs and not glue
What brand of glue do you use?
Same. I use brush on glue and the sticky adhesive. I get 2-3 three weeks with no issues.
@@amandalangan2819 can we use doubls sided tape instead glue tabs
I've been using these for about 2 years...my favorite brand. Thanks for the tips! Honest and informative video!
May I know the brand name please? Thx
I could have gone longer but just HAD to get them off....They were also too long for my taste and they dont always look that great after you file them depending on the design/color of the mail.
so how you get them to last that long? mines only last on a good day about 3 to 5 with some pop offs ugh
@@rleonaf my Impress nails also lasted 14 days. Make sure to use rubbing alcohol then I put nail glue on my actual nail and press on nail.
I also find that buffing my nails a bit before the alcohol wipes , keeps the nails on longer. My impress nails last up to 3 weeks.
The lady in the video is not telling you to push the nail under the cuticle and then tap the end with a hammer...just under the edge a little, not until you scream or draw blood, ok?
this is better than any documentarys ive watch in mylife time......
Thank you!!!!!! I just bought some because I don't see going to nail salons for a while.

How do you prep? @@lisacarlisle6283
Thanks for your info!!
what's the best way to remove glue on nails?
@@marieinawe I don't use glue just the adhesive on the nails.
Everyone's freaked out by her pushing the nail into her cuticle 🤣🤣👌
It can hurt your nail! That was something that she really shouldn't have done.
Don’t JAM these press on to the point that your nail is sore.
I never dreamed they would last that long. I always threw the tape away and used glue. Interesting to hear. And you are a beautiful young lady.
aw thanks, Nana! I've never met a Nana I didn't like :)

I watched your whole vid without skipping and I usually skip through vids lol. Good video!!
I put a bit of clear polish underneath the nail so the tape isn’t sticky. I don’t get much icky stuff stuck in there or between my nails.
do you allow the polish to dry or apply while the coat is still wet? im new to this thx!
fortune hmm not sure what you mean? I just pop the impress nails on and use a clear polish underneath the nail so the adhesive underneath doesn’t stick to anything or get anything stuck to it. It dries really quickly.

use nail glue instead of the sticky tape thing she used. Also just like she did wipe your nails with alcohol but also buff/file your nail bed with a nail fine to make it rough and remove any shine. That helps the glue stick better. and hold it down for 15-30 seconds to make sure it adheres properly

OMG please don't shove those nails under your cuticles like she is doing.. smh
I'm so sorry you had to go through this!

Hmmm.
Amazon has a "waterproof" gel tab made by Ivtor. It works really well, and stays put even with multiple hand washings.
Can you also use the glue on the nail for extra hold
Yes, I find glue makes them last 2/3 weeks

"The line of crud" is your cuticle on your nail bed and you should not sea saw your natural nails with a nail file. You should file one way only. It allows water in as you break the seal of the nail and causes jazzed edges where the water is then absorbed and when it dries causes lifting and chipping like with chipboard.
Thank you for explaining so well , 1.push in your cuticle
2. Wipe your nails with the thingy
You just summarized it perfectly 🙂 TYSM

Which mob or cam did you use for filming this particular video?
I wore these for a week. And I had Mold growing under one. Black Mold.
Never again.
Thanks for the insightful video! I would give press on a try now :)

Hi! Do you recommend adding nail glue? Or it’s better to just stick them on using the adhesive only
I watched another video on your tube with a lady using the Kiss jeweled nails and she used kiss nail glue and it lasted 3 weeks. She said do them at night to avoid dipping them in water for the few couple of hours and they will last. Also I saw in the comments someone said using gorilla brush on glue works well also and is not harsh like going to the salon. So I may try that too.
Here’s the other video ruclips.net/video/kXo2ympE9lg/видео.html
I put them under my cuticle too! Once you complete the dry manicure they are already have a space. That’s a good 1-2 weeks worth of real estate space there. Doesn’t hurt. You don’t jam them in there to the point of pain. It works. Trust me. No blood. No pain. Sensitive? A bit. If it hurts then move it up ever so slightly. I always use dehydrator. And glue. No tape.
My tip: buff your nail, use the pad thing, bam your nails will stay of for like a month!
