    Steven Paulson has been teaching and preaching for over thirty years. He holds degrees in theology from St. Olaf College, a Master of Divinity from Luther Seminary and a Theological Doctorate from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. He has taught at Concordia College, Moorhead, Luther Seminary St. Paul and Luther House of Study. He is the author of many books and articles, co-host of the Outlaw God podcast and is a Senior Scholar in Residence at 1517.

    Thanks Caleb Keith for posting! I held my breath almost two months waiting for the 2022 HWSS conference! 😀 I'm looking forwarding to hearing everyone share how Jesus is good news for me!

    am not sure how somebody can speak for close to an hour about a clear conscience and dying to the law, without first expounding on how Christ fulfilled the law and was the perfect sacrifice that pleased God. To give him credit he did say that Jesus took away our sin, but there were no details provided on how He did it. In short there was no gospel here, other than God forgave me. But the reality is God does not forgive at the expense of his Justice as this guy seems to think. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin, without a sinless Christ that obeyed the law on our behalf and satisfied God”s Justice there is no remission of sin. This message may appeal to some people, but there was no gospel in it, or a false gospel of a God without wrath that did not need Christ”satisfaction for sin to forgive.
