    LOVE the train. Enjoyed the video. The best part was being able to ride it myself. It's fun and really cool! For those who don't know this guy, he's a good friend and comes up with some of the most brilliant and insanely cool stuff you've ever seen, or imagined. I'm glad to call him my friend!

      Jeff, the honor is mine to call you a friend. Oh! I added a headlight to the train - remote color select as well. Come check it out!

    Why did I get stuck with crappy neighbors and not people like you?!?! That's pretty cool! Always wanted a miniature train in my yard

      This made me laugh! I worry that my neighbors think "why did I get stuck with this weirdo who rides trains in his back yard?"
      I have wanted a miniature train ever since I saw a documentary on Walt Disney and it showed him with his miniature train.
      If you were my neighbor, you'd be more than welcome to ride!

      Thank you! I've always wanted a miniature train - Halloween was a great excuse to pull the trigger on this project. We are going to not run the dark ride this year (convert it back to a walk through). Hopefully the train will be a hit.

      Almost immediately! Well, I haven't figured out the spooky part yet. But there will be a tunnel with enough clearance on the sides for props and decorations.

    Hello! Really liking the progress that's been made!
    I have a question:
    How easy / difficult do you find it to disassemble the track ... move it ... and set it up again?
    Also, if I wanted to contact you, outside of here, w/questions or for add'l info., how's the best way to do that?
    Thanks!

      @intocoasters  2 года назад

      2 socket wrenches is all that is needed. 4 bolts and 2 connector plates per joint. It's not difficult to move 2 pieces of track at a time, they are not terribly heavy. I'm gonna guess less than 30lbs per segment.
      email works for me - intocoasters@yahoo.com

      @@intocoasters ... Thank you, Sir! I appreciate the info ... ! I've been "this close" to getting something done, with either the Lawntracks Train and/or a Trackless Train for a Mini/Mobile RR business. And, twice I've gotten de-railed. Once in June of '18 (health) and in '20 with the whole Covid thing. It just may be time to have a go at re-Re-Launching this!
      I appreciate the eMail, too. As this thing would unfold, I may "raise my hand" with questions, for info., etc.
      I like your set-up(s), btw! Just wondering, where are you located? THANKS!!

      @@johntheillon6614 I wish you the best of luck! It's been a project in the making for about 15 years for me. Lots of false starts as well.
      I considered a trackless train for many obvious conveniences, but calling a train rather than a tram just felt.... wrong. LOL
      I worked with Dan at Lawntracks and he was awesome in steering me in the right direction.
      And yes! Feel free to reach out via email - I love indulging in my hobbies with other enthusiasts. This is set up in eastern North Carolina. About 12 miles from the Outer Banks.

    Dumb question: does it use a motor or engine?

    • @intocoasters
      @intocoasters  2 года назад +2

      Not a dumb question at all. This uses two 24 volt electric motors.
      Thanks for asking!

    "Straight piece in the curve". I could definitely use that from time to time.
