- A ride and walkthrough of the ride on train we call Graveyard Express. It's a kid-friendly ride as our haunt is too scary for the little ones. Candy was handed out by the great pumpkin in the tunnel.
Wow that moon could not have looked more perfect for this!
Love your work
Super fun idea!
Thank you! Now to figure out how to make a ramp or a loop.... hmmmmm......
Everything looks really good. Great job! 🎃
Thank you very much!!
Choo choo! The amount of time and dedication you put into that is amazing!
LOL and thank you!! It's definitely a labor of love.
Good job!
Thank you so much!
Awww dude! The coolest. Every little vignette has its own story. In each direction there is a "dare I look" that surprises and delights. Bravo!
That's awesome you say that! That is what we were doing... building these little micro stories that aren't necessarily related, but still kinda work together. It was nice to hear the kids interpret each of the scenes as we passed them. One kid giggle and commented on the 'nude beach' which never crossed our minds when setting up.
I hope you had a good crowd. Four years ago we had 80 visitors to our door. Last year was 30. Last night was only seven.
We probably broke 200 count. but that is down by about a third. I don't know if it was being a Monday or the threat of rain... who knows. It's crazy that you dropped by a factor of 11 in just 4 years!
Man your every video makes our day here in the Netherlands
Thank you! This made MY day! Thank you for watching!
Great job, as always!
Thank you so much!!
So unless i missed it, is there any chance you can do a video talking about how you learned all this, where you get parts/info, and just about you? It's all super impressive!
That looks soooo good and cool! I am glad to see what I could of it! But I'll bet being there in person would be so much better as the video in low light never gives any haunt justice. For example, when I set up my haunt, I realized when the sun went down I needed more ambient lighting to make my props "pop"... I don't think all the props were as visible as I would like. Also, People didn't follow my flow or they walked past the prop before if could cycle it's show.
Thank you! yeah... low light video still doesn't capture the experience. don't tell anyone, but I cheated... having run out of props for the yard, we left the area blank around the projection screen hoping it distracts from the fact there were no decorations there. The train layout was bigger than I anticipated.
You need to be my neighbor!🤟🤓
HA! I would love to be neighbors with fellow Halloween enthusiasts!
As usual.. your Halloween builds are phenomenal!
What is the type of train that you use?
Thank you very much!! The train is the GP7 Lowrider set from Lawntracks with an extra bench car and about 80' of extra track (making the oval 40' longer). They have been awesome to work with. And no, I am not sponsored or affiliated in any way with them. Just a fan of the train. LOL
Oh! The train is 48-volts. I use 2 12-volt deep cycle marine grade batteries.
@@intocoasters Thank you.. Just love videos... Appreciate it.
This year was my first participating in Eric's fun. It was truly a blast and the video does not do it justice. I was amazed at the number of people who came through, all complimentary and looking forward to next year.
Eric thinks, talks, eats & sleeps this stuff. He's always open to our thoughts and opinions and makes all who participate feel like we are truly a part. Eric is a good friend and a visionary. He's passionate and tireless. I'm glad to call him my friend!
