Hey everyone, welcome back! Today’s video is part 2 of ‘Publications in Residency’.
A while ago, I posted a video on my channel where I talked about 7 ways you can increase your chances of coming across an interesting case to publish. In this video, I’ll be talking about what to do after you have an interesting case that you want to publish.
If you’re starting your residency in dermatology or just getting started with academic publications in dermatology- case reports are a good place to begin. In my previous videos, I’ve given you a brief orientation on how to get started, so if you haven’t seen this video, do watch it, I’ve added a link in the description above. If you already have an interesting case or a unique finding that you wish to publish or report, but don’t know how to go about it- you’ll find this video quite helpful. I’ll be guiding you today, step by step, on how to write a case report. This may not be a universal method for writing, but this is how I go about it. So let’s find out!
