People have said this moment is cringe, but you know what, there's nothing I respect more about the FF7 Remake team than that they were willing to not only keep the goofy stuff in the og FF7, but crank it up to 11.
I haven’t played the remake yet (maybe when all parts are released and it’s in a sale I will), but I didn’t cringe to this. I think it gives character and charm to the game. There’s nothing worse than a boring and “safe” game.

Cloud has spent so much effort building up this mask of a solemn stoic Soilder, yet he ends up surroundings himself with a bunch of pasionate goofballs. You appreciated these moment when they cause a crack in his facade.
It’s like in a dnd game when you’re the only person who didn’t make a joke character. Then by the end, your “serious character” joins in on the chaos and becomes just as goofy and fun as the rest of

At first I was disappointed, that he didnt get to wear the Uniform at the ceremony like in the original. But THAT SCENE was pure joy and made the whole joke from the original game much better!

So grace and smoth moves, i didn't see such ability since Kiryu destroyed Kamurocho discos dance floor a long time ago. THunderhead really did almost lose if he did also get his moves back there. Edit: But really, this is the kinda of thing that make this games such a master piece, this mini card game reminds me of FF8 one, hope this is a signal of the possibelity of a remake in near future and Red mantain the illusion even when they not watching, such a master of desguise indeed.
This part took me by surprise as it was legitimately funny. They really nailed the comedy aspects of this game which they failed at in Remake. Red XII as a whole is just full of hilarious little one liners though, they really improved his character 300% between the original game and the remake trilogy

This payoff after seeing Red go full Karen after not being allowed into the tournament was beyond my wildest imagination, and this music for an optional card game side quest has *no right* to go this hard!
