I have the two main components for the tea, and I can follow instructions on how to make it, but I have no sitter available and I feel like going to a reputable place like The Temple of Light. I’ve heard that ayahuasca is not something you should seek out... it needs to call to you... you will know the call when it comes. Tremendous synchronicities related to the topic. Example: someone asked for a sign regarding ayahuasca and this comment you are reading right now is your sign. Seriously. I felt very guided to type this comment so that whoever it is asking for a sign will read it and know. 🦋 Don’t doubt yourself. You know better than anyone else what is best for you.
After watching and listening to this beautiful experience, I started scrolling down the comments..after reading few comments I pressed the exit button (while reading the words "I've heard" in your comment)
I exited but I don't know why I came back just to read this comment... Now I feel like there truly is a calling... It's been an year or so now... These signs keep coming, it is only now that I have started noticing.

@@IRAfallon do not make it yourself, I believe trusting experienced and dedicated people to do this ritual with you is way safer. I suppose there are some options in most countries, and it's probably best to ask people near you who have tried it and gather information from there.
I just watched this testimony for the third time in a year. In two weeks I'm going to my first aya experience, and I'm looking forward to it. I'm going with my daughter who's well acquainted with Mother Aya, and has achieved significant healing and enlightenment. I respect the process, and am a little shielded. Everyone so far has faced that which pains them, and all felt release from it. I appreciate those who have shared their profound and personal journey. Thank you.

Wow. I want to thank, deeply thank you, whom ever you are, woman sharing your story. I am very touched by how genuinely open you were, not censoring any of your real thoughts and feelings... I actually cried and had to pause the video at 1:45 and go for a walk. Besides not being a psychologist, I can RELATE TO EVERYTHING SINGLE THING YOU DESCRIBED about your life situation. The rest of the testimony was bonus from that point onward.
THANK YOU so much, who ever you are, to have shared with such honesty in your words, your voice, your body language about this experience of yours, as well as your personal background prior to the ceremonies... I REALLY needed to see and hear this testimony. It solidified my resolve to invest in myself, through the work of ayahuasca.

It shows you things that you need to look at. Imagine that you took a medicine that made you frightened ill every time you had a negative thought. How much of your day do you think you would feel sick if that was the case? While on Aya, you are forced to come up with a strategy to keep from being ill. No negative thoughts kept the demons at bay for me, which is easier said than done. It was much deeper and more complex, but that is the short version of my experience.

I'm planning on a trip. I'm ill with severe COPD (lung disease). Not sure if the experience will bring about healing or kill me! Lol. Hopefully the former! My son is planning on coming with me.

From my own Ayahuasca experience, not only do the effects last, the healing and growth that Ayahuasca inspires expands within you as time goes on. The truth goes viral inside you, just as it eventually does in politics.
@@lemurianchick I guess you didn't see the video of Donald ogling cheerleaders with Jeffrey Epstein at Mara Lago. I guess you didn't notice all the women that he has abused or the wives he has cheated on. These are not the actions of someone who would champion the destruction of that evil pedophile ring. If he was, he would have harped on the Epstein case and expressed outrage when he was murdered in prison to make sure that he didn't talk.
The effects last if you make an effort. If you just drink it and go back to your life and keep repeating all the same destructive behaviours, soon enough your experience will be like a dream, almost forgotten. BUT, if you use ayahuasca as a motivation to start changing your habits, it can last your whole life

I have looked at a few reviews because my friend Laura and I are going to a retreat later this year. Your words are so eloquent but more than that you really conveyed the power of the whole experience. Both myself and Laura are excited about going on retreat but I know our own fears and doubts are also there and will probably increase the closer we get to the time. The part about being stuck in the past and that really making you sick really hit home. It brought tears to my eyes because I'm stuck and confused as to how to move forward.

The lessons and insights never go away, but it takes work integrating them into your day to day life.
Yes, it stays forever, but you have to work on it. If you neglect it, it's like neglecting your mother's advice. This lasting effect is not aya lingering in you, it's the power of understanding things, driving the change. But you have to cherish it and work on it.
@@aha6500 Exactly, it’s like once you really realize something it becomes part of your subconscious. Reason why a lot of people don’t make certain thoughts permanent is because they “think” that way but don’t fully believe it.

Yeah, her account seemed very sincere and from the heart. You can tell that she is not even able to fully describe the freedom/relief she feels but you can feel it from her voice, her energy. I am happy for her
@@matthewsugg9265 The whole experience was super great but the actual ceremonies, 5, were intense but ez as in no being eaten alive by leopards or snakes. Greater clarity and huge gratitude was the result so I’d say yes, it did really help me. Amazing that you responded to a 2+ yr old post while just last week I signed up for my second retreat with ceremony. Soul Quest Church Orlando July 29th. Just feel I’m due and willing to give it another go. Have you participated?

All individuals in the mental health field need to do this. It'd help them see the root causes and help revolve those instead of shielding the pain with pharmaceuticals. In order to heal I personally had to face the demons. I'm glad you had this experience.

Thank you, listening to you with my eyes closed, I could see when I started covering my pain, showing me when I realized those I love, leave without explanation- my 3-year-old self knows of the first person to leave without explanation and felt/saw that person. That's part of my concern/fear of having a safe place, safe person for me.
This 'struggle' to find the right words reminds me of those who have had or are living in the non-dual experience, i.e. the dissolution of self/ego (if you can even call it an experience).
It's always amazing to see people at a loss for how to explain these 'spiritual' experiences. Some of them even admit that their explanations might sound INSANE to the average person.
To be honest, people who come across as overly certain in their explanation of what the world is, they make me nervous;
I don't even know why I'm talking about this here; perhaps it's because I've been watching either testimonials of the power of Ayahuasca or people who have had non-dual experiences, lots of it recently, and have noticed this common thread; the difficulty in explaining those things in the only available terminology we have. Maybe they're all giving off the idea that we are not the center of everything, or the world doesn't exist solely for us; I don't know, I can't even articulate this properly.
though she never reached those depths through meditation, reading or trying to understand herself those things certainly helped her to learn from experience

I need to do this so much... I'm so stuck... I dont know how to get myself there... I feel so hopeless.. There's this wonderful thing out there that i know will help me and i can't get to it. 😭
@Trev Bubbles yes, I have been microdosing for over a year now, and that has helped me TREMENDOUSLY. I can now leave the house and I do motivate much more than I did before. But, it's not a strong enough kick in the spiritual pants to create the shift in perception I need. And part of the thing I need is that guide. Aya ceremonies have singing that the shaman do that are specifically intended to help, amongst other things. Set and setting are extremely important, as I'm sure you know. But, especially with medicine like ayahuasca. Part of the process is a purge. The act of vomiting, while on the medicine is deeply symbolic. I feel like this is needed to rid myself of whatever curse I'm under. I look at it like a quest... I have to journey to a place within myself to find the grail to heal myself. Mushrooms get me through the day.. and I dont want to take an heroic dose by myself. That could potentially be disastrous. I have nobody to take care of me, should I start having a problem. Before I developed severe depression and CPTSD, I was fine tripping by myself. In fact, I preferred it. I'd always wander away from the group. But, trauma fucked me up, but GOOD. I didnt even realize how I was being effected for so many years. ... anyway... ayahuasca is calling me. I plan to visit a local sweat lodge for the first time, ever, in about a month. They dont offer ayahuasca, it's just a straight up night of prayer. But, I consider it a step in preparation for when I eventually find my way to ayahuasca, I'll be ready. It's the only thing I can think of to do.. I'm completely broke. I can't work. I made so much progress but I'm slipping backwards... I have NO safety net, anymore. My previous plan was sabotaged by a selfish "friend"...so, I'm out thousands of dollars and living in a van that's riddled with mechanical gremlins. If I don't figure something out soon... I can't see myself surviving the year.
yuriination you’ll find a way. There are more and more cheaper deals for Ayahuasca out there, so less excuses. If you can’t see yourself get to the end of the year, what have you got to lose?

I think i know exactly what you meant at the end with 'we all looked different, people LOOKED different'. To me it seems that its possible to see if someone is actually connected to his/her own emotions. People that are depressed or feel very bad always seem to have the complete opposite of that 'different look'. what do you think?
