Felix Sanchez is a hero and an inspiration to us all. I remember watching him in Athens in '04 when he won gold. I didn't follow athletics closely at the time and didn't know who he was. 8 years later in London after losing an interest in athletics having enjoyed it for a few years, I watched Sanchez again and remembered him from Greece. It was amazing to see the same guy win the 400 hurdles 8 years apart. That kind of thing doesn't normally happen in the mankiller event. It was an astonishing feat. Good for him.

I strongly believe our government would have never started taking sports funding more seriously (and they could still improve) if it wasnt for him. We already had talent in our country, but Felix really showed it to the world
