I truly truly resonate on what Mr Adil says about Mahindra, there is something special about the brand and the people behind that cannot be put in words. When every auto-journo talks about Mahindra there is not one dull moment or a part where you want to skip the video. As someone who has grown up with the Mahindra brand and it's products, and the passion at Mahindra and it's cars have rubbed off on their customers as well. Case in point myself, I have a 16 year Mahindra Scorpio, which now has become a part of my identity, the brand inspired me to take up automobile engineering, heck my google profile is an old evo write up about the scorpio (before the segment became gone but not forgotten). I wish the brand nothing but success. Would love to see a podcast with Mr Adil and Sirish talk about the new BSA and Jawa motorcycles from Mahindra.
Adil’s depth of knowledge and understanding about the auto industry in India is amazing! Along with him we wish Mahindra all the best in their future endeavours.💐
8:00 Adil Sir hit the nail and is very true. A 2 person offroad crew with a 3 door Thar loves its style, presence and its tough capabilities than a 5 person adventure seeking family car. And offroading with the 3 door Thar convertible hood open in the western ghats wilderness is just 7th heaven ❤
One of the best Indian Auto Podcast i've ever listened to with so much interest. Thank You @Adil Sir and @Sirish Sir for sharing this amazing piece of Automotive content with us.
Just checked the sales figures..Surprised to see Mahindra is on the verge of being the no 3 car maker in India..😂All with just SUVs.Shows the dominance in the segment.Eagerly waiting for the next gen Mahindra BEVs..The camouflaged test mules look so futuristic and I hope those vehicles will truly inspire the words of Make in India for the world..
As a child a decade back, just by mere observation I felt Renault was arrogant and didn't listen to Mahindra's suggestions to improve the Logan. Which was Evident with windshield Wiper Blade setup of the Logan which was more of a LHD setup. With the Verito Vibe Mahindra had made subtle changes, main one was the RHD windshield wiper setup. Don't know how valid this is but as a kid car enthusiast more than a decade back I felt like a Big Achievement at that time.😅😅 Excellent Podcast !!!
I can't agree more about the sub 4m SUV. The 1.2 turbo under normal tune in a more compact Mahindra than the 3XO, with Mahindra traits will set a benchmark for the segment and extremely difficult to beat. Fingers crossed. On a side note the MX2 Pro seems extremely well priced looking at what the competition has to offer. Thanks for sharing your in depth knowledge gentlemen and kudos to Sirish for asking those perfectly timed questions.
He was talking about next gen 3XO which mahindra is working on with new gen chassis/platform to house 3.8 meters to 4.3 meters SUVs. That should address further more buyers bcz it reduces weight by increasing the strength of chassis. That inturn gives more powerful performance (quicker acceleration) + more mileage (biggest concern of 3XO for mass market buyers now).
Excellent informative session , for all automobile guys. Mr sirish take up every automobile manufacturers in INDIA , how they came up and do a podcast. Kudos to evo. Mr sirish chandran very good . Continue the goodwork.
Good Conversation. On Roxx, don't think it is rivals to the Cretas of the world. It is a good car for a young family. But anyone with elders at home wouldn't want Roxx as the only car. Plus of course the very very low fuel efficiency
Dear mr Sirish and mr. Adil, thank you for another wonderful podcast. Best wishes always. Look forward to a podcast on the new thar with mr. R. Velusamy.
Which models of Mahindra have safety ratings ? Which of the present models should one buy with the highest rating ? Rate the models starting with the highest and going till the least
Sirish, here are my thoughts! 1. you did missed the Mahindra's designs from 1990s-2015s which also the time when the iconic badges started like THAR, Scorpio, XUV500, Bolero. I think all of them were done under Pawan's leadership with Ramkripa Anandan as the CDO if I am not wrong... Whats your thoughts on it?? 2. On the Saab part, to me Mahindra never needed Saab. Their cars are mostly Sedans and large saloons. Mahindra always aspired to be a SUV maker. 3. On Ssangyong, they did learnt a lot of vendor/supplier ecosystems from their mfg with Alturas G4. 4. A better SUV needed than 3XO, 100% but coz of the taxation structure I think anything other than THAR 3Door is possible for them.
Question ...Thar Roxx when it is to be delivered? If it is going to take long don't you think the excitement will fade out? Why is it that no expert is reviewing Thar Roxx petrol (manual & automatic)? Is it true that maintenance of any Mahendra nprodyct us expensive and parts are not available easily? One car in the family is it ikay to buy Mahindra?
Wonderful podcast. I believe mahindra can be very best example for if you are be(a)st it doesn't mean they formaula can be used anywhere. A fair shares owning Jawa is doing very bad in terms of sells and quality. Can this be discussed?
All through the years until the early 80s Birlas of Hindustan Motors lobbied hard with the Government so as not to grant passenger car license to the Mahindras and Tata Motors …. Today HM is history
Hi, My brother lives in Mumbai, family lives in Pune. He's very very much interested in Roxx. He would like to keep it for longer period. His choice is only Diesel. Should he buy Roxx ? -Especially in the wake of 1. Delhi banning 10 year old diesel vehicles, 2. Gadakari saying raising taxes on diesel, forced bs6 to bs7, 3. Increasing AQI in both cities. (He just doesn't want to waste money on the dumb political decisions.)
Why is Mahindra vehicles pitched as a 5 yeras car which means ipribkems crop up after 5 years? Why Mahindra has electrical issues in all his vehickes? Why the servuce is expensive in case of Mahindra? If not why is Mahindra not clearing doubts of first time buyers?

Gautam Nagwekers name missing.A very important person in the scorpio success story and gem of a man.
Epic part 2!❤
Thanks!
Why is that 2.0 L engine is such a game changer, hope someone cud get in depth, and compare it with other engines .
For one it is a Tgdi engine…quite similar to the vw tsi
A better Jimny! Perhaps A bit wider. Just ordered the book by the way.

Not that the Bolero or Bolero neo are bad, but a better Jimny suggest a Bolero Replacement i,e a sub 4 mtr 5door SUV.
300 masterpiece
Definitely mahindra’s make better technology and performance cars than TATA’s
Amazing ❤🎉
Thanks!
Why did Mr. Adil say 3X0 not there, despite its selling well?
You didn't ask about the Mahindra - Pininfarina partnership, why it happened and what they're getting out of it
Why this guys are not building Indian vellfire type cars with aspirational brand like avignya or pinnafirana @ 35lakhs

Mahindra might have great engines, but the future is definitely Electric and here they are lacking in technology.
all good but terrible srevice . be careful guys
Mahindra only wanted to sell their own products, not interested in sedans, only wanted to sell sun's of their own
