I'd say CSP since I've used CSP EX for years on PC. Don't feel like trying it on ipad with their subscription model. But it's my favorite to use. Currently using Procreate
I've been using Procreate for years to create several book covers, but I'm making the switch to Fresco for two main reasons. First, I’ve noticed that sometimes my pen strokes end up with unintended marks within the app, which doesn’t happen anywhere else. It's frustrating to keep redoing strokes. But what really pushed me away from Procreate is the poor quality when exporting to Photoshop. Many strokes end up with a faint halo around them in Photoshop, and there’s no simple fix for it. Plus, even with matching color profiles, some colors just don’t look the same after importing.
What he majorly misses out on about Adobe Fresco is most of the features are available without subscription. Reason why I love it. Don’t get me wrong rest of Adobe need subscription but Fresco doesn’t.
@@cakie_0933 for me, the free version of fresco is sooo laggy buggy and cant draw on the app, only 12$ per year 1 month free and no bug and lag. but im on procreate and im satisfy with procreate till i see the wet effect on fresco lol ☺️✨

Have not yet found a way to save and send iPad Notes as PDF even its the most easy and spontaenous Drawing app for me. And this sucks... Any help I apreciate🙏🏻
@@pastuh Thank you very much for the suggestion. But besides Fresco is a bit of a different beast, I don't use Adobe products (not even free ones). I mean, I used it professionally in the past, in every company (currently a freelancer) I worked at as a graphic designer and 2D/3D game artist. I know their apps upside down, Photoshop is second nature to me (used it professionally from 1995 till 2013). But now I can afford to avoid them... It's just personal preference: I avoid subscriptions (or I'll keep doing so until it's impossible), and I heavily dislike the Adobe's move with AI (in regards AI itself and the Adobe stock art used for that: artists did not allow such usage in the licenses), while Procreate devs have taken the strongest stance in the whole industry to defend artists in the AI big issue. I'm not an Apple/iOS fan, *at all*, but just for how good the app is (it really is, objectively; many things they did should have been implemented on desktop apps) and such unique take, I'd be inclined to buy an iPad Pro, just for Procreate. Also, currently I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE, and for painterly artwork, ArtRage Vitae is IMO not as good as Rebelle 7 Pro on the desktop, but is good enough for that purpose. Anyway, Procreate is not as much about mimicking traditional media as ArtRage Vitae, Rebelle or Corel Painter (and to a point, Fresco, but it is a rather more basic app than any of this). Procreate is more of a general painting software (can be used for traditional media output, though). As a curiosity, According to the Expresii developer (he told this to me, indeed) , the Fresco base code for oil painting comes from an earlier development made by him, while he worked at Microsoft, many years ago. He was a pioneer of such technology. For how the whole things of patents work, it passed from one hand to another, and it ended in Adobe, which integrated it on Fresco. For a number of reasons, I'd rather prefer to try that once the Expresii's developer makes oil painting possible in his Windows app... but without enough funding, for now he is focused on Eastern style watercolors, only (it's an amazing app doing that, if one is interested in such thing).
Hey, man! I have a question for you. I now have an iPad (9th) that I draw on using Procreate. I like the app and am starting to get used to it. One advantage is that I can find many tutorials on RUclips about it. The problem, in a sense, is the tablet. Not the tablet itself but the iOS which after almost 2 years I'm used to but still prefer android. Basically the tablet is a strong argument why I would never get an iPhone. Anyway, the point is that I'm tempted by Samsung tablets (Samsung Tab S9 Fe, or Ultra). Unfortunately, Procreate doesn't exist on Android. The alternative would be Sketchbook. Sketchbook I've just opened a bit and that's it. Have you used it? Is Procreate superior?
Linearity незручний якщо порівнювати з Illustrator. Багато функцій недоопрацьовано, деякі основні далеко сховані. А підписка зараз дуже дорога( Єдиний плюс це працювати на iPad.
@@aoterou then you have no idea how to set them up since they're more versatile than in Procreate (and wet brushes work infinitely better). photoshop on ipad is a great idea when it's optimized to be a drawing app, which ASP is
Agreed. Artstudio Pro is great for working as traditional media. Procreate is frustrating for full blown illustration. It seems more inclined to simpler graphics, not something that looks fully drawn and painted.

I think it’s because Adobe wants you to get used to using it and then they will add it to the subscription only category. It’s their M.O. 😊
@@nataliet3688 That's a shame 😒 I have used Procreate a bit should they do that however I'm quite use to Fresco’s layout
That’s why affinity is the best other than procreate
No clip studio paint, kind of surprise. That one also good too!
Clip Studio Paint with simple mode is a great tool too.
Super helpful, thank you! Would love to see an in depth look at how you use various features in fresco!
just type fresco in the search bar there are plenty
Naa I don’t support subscription apps
Thank you for sharing! Cool and insightful!
What's the glass-like brush at 1:02?
Any chance on review on Pixelmator and Logoist 5 for drawing?
How abt sketchpro?
I use Sketchbook Pro. Hands down!

I get ya. However, it's not about the new terms. It's a completely different reason why they have a case against them.
Which iPad do you recommend?
procreate cant export svg and affi designer cant import svg from programs like these. very sad
