I love seeing a video genuinely promoting Mint based on personal experience instead of a sponsor. Great info.

I think it would be nice to see an actual footage of all the things you are talking about in this video: like showing the Mint website with a plan comparison to the T-Mobile, SIM order/delivery, how the setup process works, etc. This would make your videos more visually informative. Keep up the good work!

Yup I agree. And ideally I would have liked to do this. But by the time I got to doing this video, it has been several months since I had already made the switch and I didn’t have any footage of the process. But if I ever add another line, I’ll definitely capture footage of the process.

It's years that I have been using Mint Mobile and I am very pleased with their service. Let's hope they won't change due to the acquisition from T-Mobile. BTW each plan includes the Hotspot, which main carriers usually don't offer on prepaid plans

Regarding porting over your number to MM, you mentioned you needed your previous carrier's account # and "pass code for the account". Pass code for the account?? I haven't made the switch yet, but from what I've been reading and from calling both T-mobile and Mint, I was told by both that I need to get a port-over PIN from the previous carrier which is what's supposed to be used....not the pass code for the previous account. Please correct me if I'm wrong. If incorrect info is used during the porting process, it can really cause problems and delays!

I used my passcode from T-Mobile. If someone doesn’t know their passcode, they can request for a temporary porting PIN or even request for T-Mobile to allow a temporary pin-less port over period.

$15 for unlimited calls and 4 GB of data sounds alright 👍

Read the contract very well, after one year mint mobile goes up to $120 a month for unlimited

I can’t speak for unlimited. I’ve been using the 4GB one for multiple years now for the same $15 per month.

There no contract. The prices are all there in white and green. NOW if your buying a phone from them and making monthly payments on top of your bill. That’s a you problem. Buy your phone in full.
