All your videos are top quality plus it's great to see you fishing different locations every time. I look forward to your next outing and cant wait to see where you are next time.
Looks loverly nice little spot well in tightlines and grest to see u out nice pouting to save the blank and a little doggie great session ty for sharing with us top job
While you're sitting out there enjoying the weather, I'm stuck in a windowless shed doing fairly major surgery on two motorbikes. To say I'm jealous is an understatement
Always great to come home from work and see you've uploaded a new video. Me and my brother used to fish a lot of our surf beaches together in Australia. Everyone would cluster together right at the entrance to the beach. 5 to 10 minute walk and you're all by yourself. I've never understood how people want to jam together when fishing.
We have just come back from a week at blue anchor bay, which as far as I can see is directly opposite to sully island on the South coast of the Bristol channel. Lots of anglers there but they never seem to catch much, I didn't fish as I have lots of freshwater coarse stuff but no seawater tackle.looks like a good day.
@@theawfulangler no reports of bass from the people i spoke with, a few doggies and some whiting was about it. Never thought to try my coarse gear, will give it a go next time
Looks a lovely spot, weather was glorious, peace and quiet. Good for the mind. Love it.❤️ And 2 fish too.🎣🎣 Thanks for taking us with you. I hope the bairns well.🙏 Take care and stay safe.😷
Jeez man you certainly get about, fair play mate, love south wales, hoping to get back down here asap, need a small eyed and spotted ray, and a bigger blonde
Another top video buddy and can’t fault your dedication. Things still very hit and miss on the South Wales coast but should really pick up over the next few weeks as the Hounds move in in bigger numbers. Thanks for sharing fella .
@The Awful Angler been some lovely Bass caught off the Norfolk and Suffolk Coast lately. Ventured to North Norfolk yesterday on hunt for smoothounds, but arrived a day to late with Heavy swells, full on wind in your face. Struggled for bites, managed to get a decent whiting and didn't see anyone else catch.
Brilliant stuff again . I really want to get down there fishing with a blond in mind. I always feel nervous about the commitment of travelling there with the number of people fishing around there. Also I find it fascinating you use them rods every mark and don't beef up regardless you fishing heavy ground or sand.
you should have gone to the point to the right of the pole point as you look out to sea its a great mark for cod from end of November through till end of February it fishes an hour later than the pole point and its very weedy underfoot. I never go to the pole point, use rag on the bottom, ive has cod to 9lb, also had an 18lb conger there, and saw a 20lb cod there a few years ago. for me its the best mark in south wales,
How often to you get to fish in full sunlight without any wind? Beautiful. Pity only the pouts and a doggie obliged but hey, who could ask for a better day out? I 100% agree with you, keep away from the masses. I have never fished it but I know that patch, as it is pretty close to my roots and one of my mates used to run a bird sanctuary that is right next door.
Usually you're behind a rock face in the shade, or in full sun and the wind in your face, but I'm not complaining! Yeah I like to go fishing to switch off and it's rude doing that around others 🤣
Bit of a late one, I'm slowly catching up on your back catalog!! can I ask what is the reasoning behind the dongle setup you used here over a normal pulley pennel rig?

From the reports I've seen there are a lot of bass on the English side of the BC at the minute. That would have made for great sport on course gear 👌🏽

Lovely conditions for Bass as you said, pity they werent about.
I know the Bristol side is producing some crackers now, but was just too early for the Welsh side unfortunately 😕

Is that by the Captain’s Tavern pub. Been there for a pint looks familiar. Never thought of fishing there though. 🏴
Had to Google the place, but yeah the pubs called the captains wife 👍🏼 I wouldn't mind an overnight session on there, that could be class 👌🏽

Thanks for the suggestion mate. Someone else recommended that mark to me as well. Rough ground but productive. I might have to give it a try

Wish I’d known. I live a few miles away and would have popped over and said hello.
I might be back down again in the coming weeks mate, so I'll let you know 👍🏼

Can't stand people who push into your spot either 👍
You are an awful angler😂
I'm sending love to you and all your family ❤
The worst Andy 😫 thanks buddy, all good at the minute, hoping to get back out fishing again soon 🤞🏼🤫
Wow, that’s what I call dedication 💪. I must admit I’m not keen on the Tronix Pro stuff 🫣. Pout make great bait too 🎣🐟
