Yeah a 2.5 foot hook length. It works well for me others might prefer different lengths. I usually measure the body at 3 foot 👍

So what is the purpose of different pulley lengths?
Hi Alan, different length snoods will present a bait differently in the tide. Sometimes it’s trial and error to see what works for you and what type of presentation the fish prefer on that day.

What do u think if whiting as bait, pls ?
It’s good for conger, Huss, rays and even whiting themselves like strips. I’m sure it would work for other fish too

Make a diagonal cut from the top of the head to the anal fin and it’s a very good bait. Make sure to expose plenty of blood and guts and they can’t resist. Good luck!
