    April 21, 2024 - Fourth Sunday of Easter.
    Readings: Acts 4: 8-12; Psalm 118: 1, 8-9, 21-23, 26, 28, 29;
    1 John 3: 1-2; John 10: 11-18
    The readings for the 4th Sunday of Easter Year B, invite us to reflect on the image of Jesus as the Good Shepherd who lays down his life for his sheep.
    In today’s first reading from the Acts of the Apostles, Peter boldly proclaims before the religious leaders that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, except the name of Jesus Christ. This is a powerful testimony to the truth that Jesus is the Good Shepherd who leads us to salvation and eternal life.
    The Psalm reminds us to give thanks to the Lord, for He is good and His love endures forever. As beloved children of God, we are called to embrace our identity as His sons and daughters, knowing that we are loved unconditionally by our Heavenly Father.
    In today’s second reading from the letter of John, we are reminded that we are children of God, and though we may not fully understand what we will become, we know that when Jesus appears, we will be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. This promise gives us hope and reassurance that we are called to share in the eternal life and glory of Ch
