    YES! I've been watching your vids for a while now for this exact reason. So far, I've reupholstered the saddles on three bikes...and all three were STOLEN almost immediately thereafter. True story.

    The man makes patterning and sewing and cutting materials like he's pouring a cup of water and everything flows together so seamless . The man's a true artist um forever thankful I found his channel and his trenching teachings he's passed into us and his students

    Excelente trabajo, esos trabajos me cuestan bastante porque todo es muy reducido pero usted , un maestro !!! De paso le consulto en ocasiones usted usa adhesivo de contacto con un pincel, como se oyede hacer para que el pincel no se seque, usa algún producto ? Saludos

    • @Cechaflo
      @Cechaflo  Год назад +2

      Las cerdas del pincel son ligeramente duras y son los mismos pinceles que se usa para pintar al óleo. Para mantenerlo limpio, despues de aplicar el pegamento amarillo, hay que limpiarlo con un pedazo de tela o vinil y luego colocarlo en un frasco de vidrio que tenga thinner o acetona.
      Este minuto del video nos da una idea al respecto:ruclips.net/video/8_nh0DctARg/видео.html

    Simplemente espectacular! 😍😍😍 Siempre había pensado que tapizar un asiento de este estilo, con el agujero en el centro, sería difícil, y de hecho lo es, pero siguiendo sus pasos, tan impecablemente bien explicados, hasta me atrevería a intentarlo 😉😉
    Eso sí, tendría que usar un vinilo parecido al suyo, que fuese bastante maleable, para poderlo acomodarlo mejor a la hora de poner las grapas, y siempre se podría calentar con un poco de cuidado con una pistola de calor para ayudarle a acoplarse 😅😅
    Muchas gracias por otro gran vídeo! 👏👏

      @@deltajohnny Muchas gracias por esos buenos comentarios que nos animan a seguir subiendo videos. Todavía falta mucho que estudiar. En cualquier momentos haremos videos de pisos de carro en real, asi como simulados en maqueta y reales de los techos/cielos colgantes del VW y otros carros antiguos. También los modernos de cartón o fibra de vidrio aplicando pegamento con pistola y compresora.

    Good morning, very good morning. Great videos. I'm learning a lot. I would like to know if in leather upholstery it is necessary to reduce the leather to sew it, especially in covers and cushions thank you very much for your videos a greeting from Spain

    • @Cechaflo
      @Cechaflo  Год назад +3

      Sometimes it is necessary to skive the leather to give a nice look. Leather is skived for car dashboards, consoles, door panels, etc. Other particular items such as wallets, bags, et. In the case of car/motorcycle covers it is not advisable because the seams weaken.

  • @lucerojm3
    @lucerojm3 Год назад +1

    And so that when it comes to putting the leather cover on the back of the car so that the leather is more manageable and softer, it can be heated and thus it fits better
    thank you

    What size staples do you use in something like this. Im doing my sons seat and its so small i think i need to go with 1/4" deep, but i dont know if that will be deep enough to hold

    • @Cechaflo
      @Cechaflo  Год назад +2

      I used a 3/32" high. It is enough for bike seats.

      Hi, glad to see you find these videos useful. I used to mark with sharpened waxed pencils and still do. Shoemakers here in Mexico use a lot of silver leather marking pen refills. I find it useful on dark materials like vinyl or leather.

      Here is a playlist with most items we did, we have also done some handmade pressert feets, sewing machine attachments and seat modifications but thats another category.

      Tendría que sacar moldes en papel de molde, cartulina, vinil, etc. El resultado quedaría mucho mejor, porque muchas veces los moldes viejos estan distorsionados.
