YES! I've been watching your vids for a while now for this exact reason. So far, I've reupholstered the saddles on three bikes...and all three were STOLEN almost immediately thereafter. True story.
The man makes patterning and sewing and cutting materials like he's pouring a cup of water and everything flows together so seamless . The man's a true artist um forever thankful I found his channel and his trenching teachings he's passed into us and his students
Good morning, very good morning. Great videos. I'm learning a lot. I would like to know if in leather upholstery it is necessary to reduce the leather to sew it, especially in covers and cushions thank you very much for your videos a greeting from Spain
Sometimes it is necessary to skive the leather to give a nice look. Leather is skived for car dashboards, consoles, door panels, etc. Other particular items such as wallets, bags, et. In the case of car/motorcycle covers it is not advisable because the seams weaken.
And so that when it comes to putting the leather cover on the back of the car so that the leather is more manageable and softer, it can be heated and thus it fits better thank you
What size staples do you use in something like this. Im doing my sons seat and its so small i think i need to go with 1/4" deep, but i dont know if that will be deep enough to hold
I’m a new subscriber to your channel. What is the small marker you are using? It leaves a fine white line. I’ll be trying to make your notching tool. Do you have any other fine tools you have made? Thanks I really enjoy your fine teaching channel.
Hi, glad to see you find these videos useful. I used to mark with sharpened waxed pencils and still do. Shoemakers here in Mexico use a lot of silver leather marking pen refills. I find it useful on dark materials like vinyl or leather. www.amazon.in/Holsten-Leather-Silver-Marking-Pens/dp/B0859G9Y62 Here is a playlist with most items we did, we have also done some handmade pressert feets, sewing machine attachments and seat modifications but thats another category. ✅ ruclips.net/p/PLoSIdv1C9uyR1y7hk6NSJ7p-gg0573C1K&si=6iGcUynElF0_XUhS Welcome the chanel anytime

Hero!
Nice job, but is it cost effective, especially when there is a need of an industrial sewing machine.
The small bent nose pliers for pulling staples, where can I purchase? This is an excellent video.

I used a 3/32" high. It is enough for bike seats.

This is a tedious project. Only one I would do for myself or a family member.
$15 seat renewal nicely done, i'll pay you $10 for the 3 hour job
