I've been hitting Solo Lane hard with Sun Wukong. It takes a second for me to get past being squishy, but my build goes: Skip Warrior's Blessing and Start with Tier 2 Soul Eater (Plus Health Chalice and 3 Mix Potions). Finish Soul Eater and start working on Berserker's Shield (your 3 and ult will give you all the escape you need). Start working on Warrior Tabi next time you're back in fountain (you can choose between this or finishing Berserker Shield, I prefer Berserker because I'm fairly safe to with just tier 2 boots). Once all three are finished, choose something to counter the rest of the enemy team. Magical: Rubic Shield, Pestilence, Oni Garb. Physical: Void Shield, Shifter Shield, Mantle of Discord. Room for Dmg: Brawler's Beatstick or HeartSeeker. You'll be pretty squishy until your ult is on line, but, you clear waves, buff camps, and back harpy camps real fast while sustaining/regaining your health. I even spanked a Bellona during early game running these three items, damn does it feel good to pay her back for pre-7.7 laning.
I've been having success with achilles and athena in solo lane, but having an arachne as the enemy junglers is always annoying, I'll remember to try a nemean to see if it helps
Innate Gravity kind of.... all players will have to do is delay their 2 for two autos and they can still get the stun. This is also assuming that Arachne is the first to engage on you. In theory it sounds okay but the 15s needs to be reduced to the 10-13 range. I think Hide was changed with one purpose and that’s to bring Bellona into the meta again.

Innate Gravity if she’s the first to engage you then it’ll definitely help. I think now it also has the most phys prots on any single item and 200 mana.

That new Hades start is BROKEN. I want CDR earlier in the build though. Played one game and destroyed in the early game. I doubt they checked my build. I took the tower before my first back.
I think other honorable mentions are Baron, Guan Yu and Cerberus. Cerberus is very slept on. I used to beat glad shield King Arthurs with Cerberus but now it is even better.
Played against cerb yesterday, was really strong in teamfights later on and can't really be bullied. But then again, im low elo scrub, so I probably just played bad against him.
I've been playing Nemesis Solo. Ninja boots, gaia, stone cutter, sledge, berserker, and last item depends. I've had alot of success and alot of fun as well. I would love to see her come back as a strong solo laner. Just keep stealing those protections baby.
I still think gods with built in sustain are really good this patch, achilles, camazotz, and sobek in particular i think do really well in lane and teamfights later.

Thoughts on Soul Eater into Tank Boots and then into Sledge for Arthur? A little more expensive as you'll mostly be passive in the early, but you'll be finishing soul eater as early as you can. Idk i've rolling with it and it's been slapping, curious on your thoughts
I'm not fineok but I think that people will most likely hard counter u while going stone of Gaia is very sneaky and people don't realize how much sustain it really is so if u don't have much sustain in your team comp they will most likely not build antiheal even though you'll lose the soul eater big boi dmg
I went soul eater a couple times to see, I struggle with how slow your early game is. The window of opportunity once you get the item online to start fragging isn't very large I've found, but if you do find that early kill you're unstoppable. Need to try Gaia tho

Sun wukong build id personally go: Shifter's shield, the sledge, pridwen, mantle of discord, bullward of hope or void shield. Works very well with his passive.
Thoughts on Hades late game? I've played with and against a Hades a couple of times, and I've noticed that no matter how fed he is early game once the game passes 20 mins and the hunter or mid get their items online he can no longer survive with his mostly damage build. Do you think that his early game is so strong that it's worth the hard fall off late game?
IMO baka is super strong in solo. He’s able to win most early fights with golden blade rush then stealing back camps after every wave is soo good. Also helps your jungle out level theirs if you keep stealing their camps.

I'm at around 2300 mmr console and I've been having success with Mulan. The crazy sustain from her 2 is enough to outtrade almost anyone aside from cthulus broken ass. Late game she can kinda fall off but if u run emperor's u can initiate pheonix with the extra mitigation on ur ult and with a responsive team it's usually ggs.
this games meta is Chaotic at best. I always feel everyone is viable in solo if you know how to build and use your gods kit effectively against the enemy comp. Thanks for the vid!
I played Cthulu support and the game just felt extremely different, his kit locks enemies down and saves teammates so easily. Can't wait to see the spl teams rushing phoenix with his Ult.

I have to say, trying out these builds has really given me hope that Warriors will be in an okay place, I wasn't really sure how to fit items like stone of gaia into builds or how I should go about building solo mages because of all the changes. I would still like to see some kind of buff to warriors because I think Mages, Assassins, and even Guardians might just be better overall in solo even though Warriors are more independent than Guardians, I still feel like they die too quickly when diving back lines like they should, Assassins and Mages make up for this with raw damage output, and Guardians have more natural tankiness, but this has given me hope that maybe they aren't as bad as I initially thought
@@Inngrimm If you build tanky it takes alot to kill you (unless the mid jungle or adc is fed) and in team fights everything you do matters. So if they waste all their damage on you then the rest of the team can/should be able to win.
How do you feel about Bell? I've been testing her with the Sledge and Pridawen with a lot of prots/hybrid items and she feels really strong, especially if you put new nemean on her. She's even more unboxable imo but I wanted to hear your thoughts on her

fineokay i was wondering if ama is considered a favourable match up against cthulhu. when ever I face a cthulhu in lane I rush runic shield, and try to save my 3 for their 3. I find that with chalices and ama's natural sustain the cthulhu match up to be annoying but pretty easy. I havnt played for very long and im far from even middle tier never mind high tier games but is this a thought process i can take even into ranked matchs?
Sad thing about cthulu and arthur are it feeds the whole "only new gods are playable and have bloated kits" mentality. I get that Hades and wukong were in the list, but it would be nice to see more revamping or buffs for earlier characters. It's nice that they've been moving more towards that with rat and what they tried to do with Freya and what they're trying now with Loki, but it should probably be put out there more. A lot of people quit because of the new gods taking over everything.
You want to be active in early/midgame with Arthur, having a stacking item on him is just a way to slow him down even more, stone of Gaya just gives you the sustain you need, and Arthur doesnt care much about power, his scaling are pretty bad, so the more tanky you are, the more spell you can spam, the more damage you'll do :)

Whats the opinion on kuzen solo? I play him quite a bit in solo and people never expect his push to hit for a million at level three when you get them through all three minions.

Hey fine I'm excited to try out the Arthur build cause I've been to nervous to play him after he lost glad, but I was wondering what the thought process is on not using soul eater? I could see it taking too long to stack up but feels like it would be good late game
I've used both this build already and the soul eater build, soul eater feels bad because you are so so squishy that you really do just get blown up, even with it fully stacked you just don't heal enough to keep yourself alive in a fight, plus late game or falls off hard. It's great when theres a wave to life steal off of, but in a jungle fight? Yike
You want frenzy popped ideally on gods that work well and can really abuse the Attack speed buff like hunters, mage ADCs and Auto attack warriors/assassins.

Dont think Nemean helps agaisnt arachne cause of how fast she hits

Few days after the patch released I got bullied by a baka just like that and I couldn't do anything about it

Thoughts on Cu Chullaine?
Thanks for the vid Fineo. I really like running Frostbound hammer and Stone Cutting Sword on Ama, but I don’t know where to put in the build and what to replace it with. Any tips?
fineokay i was wondering if ama is considered a favourable match up against cthulhu. when ever I face a cthulhu in lane I rush runic shield, and try to save my 3 for their 3. I find that with chalices and ama's natural sustain the cthulhu match up to be annoying but pretty easy. I havnt played for very long and im far from even middle tier never mind high tier games but is this a thought process i can take even into ranked matchs?

What are your thoughts about soul eater on king Arthur? You get some pen and cdr as well ability lifesteal.

Sad thing about cthulu and arthur are it feeds the whole "only new gods are playable and have bloated kits" mentality. I get that Hades and wukong were in the list, but it would be nice to see more revamping or buffs for earlier characters. It's nice that they've been moving more towards that with rat and what they tried to do with Freya and what they're trying now with Loki, but it should probably be put out there more. A lot of people quit because of the new gods taking over everything.
I was kinda expecting mulan. I feel like blinking in and hitting a big ult with her is good with your team backing you up.
What do you think about Camaz in solo? Wich is a viable build with him actually?
No soul eather on arthur he procs it continuously and i love it it gives everything Arthur needs power,cooldown and sustain and also heals from minion

I think because it has no health or protection and maybe Arthur is meant to be more tanky than dmg.
You want to be active in early/midgame with Arthur, having a stacking item on him is just a way to slow him down even more, stone of Gaya just gives you the sustain you need, and Arthur doesnt care much about power, his scaling are pretty bad, so the more tanky you are, the more spell you can spam, the more damage you'll do :)

Whats the opinion on kuzen solo? I play him quite a bit in solo and people never expect his push to hit for a million at level three when you get them through all three minions.
Is jorm still a decent pick as a solo laner?
Not a fan of the souleater Arthur build eh? Is it because you have mana issues early if you can't secure pressure/totem?
My boy Achillesssss. Sad to not see him on here but I agree with most of it. I'll keep playing him and baiting those fights right before level 5 for the easy kill lol. Ama feels really good too but she's always been good.

u mentioned not to go stone of gia on vamana because of antihealing, but antihealing doesnt effect the hp5 part anymore, did u just mean the passive?
I have the most problems with TYR. Specially in the early game with stone of gaia has he to much sustain & his dmg is also strong. Ps. Nice Video! I wish u the best for SPL start on friday, im very excited wich way you‘ll go! 👌🏼👍🏼

Hey fine I'm excited to try out the Arthur build cause I've been to nervous to play him after he lost glad, but I was wondering what the thought process is on not using soul eater? I could see it taking too long to stack up but feels like it would be good late game
I've used both this build already and the soul eater build, soul eater feels bad because you are so so squishy that you really do just get blown up, even with it fully stacked you just don't heal enough to keep yourself alive in a fight, plus late game or falls off hard. It's great when theres a wave to life steal off of, but in a jungle fight? Yike

What’s with stone of gaia and berserkers shield? Are they meta/good now?
Is it bad that the only role I like playing is jungle? I know I should learn them all but none of them look appealing to me
I appreciate this a lot. But what warrants a god building frenzy? Like why not build that relic on every God?
You want frenzy popped ideally on gods that work well and can really abuse the Attack speed buff like hunters, mage ADCs and Auto attack warriors/assassins.
