Ive been programming for bout 2 years and as well got my switch modded. Wanted to let u knw great video on throwin in tips and reminders to people tht might not understand code and programs. There needs to be an all in one selector like retroarch that let's you pair games with their respective home consoles so it would be as simple as selecting the game you want to play and it just plays. Switch homebrew is kinda finicky with emulation.
Perhaps, but I like doing things manually
Out of curiosity, are you using melonDS with JIT recompiler enabled and with an overclock?
Because I don’t have any issues with emulation on it besides the DSi firmware, even newer DS runs great on it, just requiring a higher overclock then most.
Also NXThemes installer does have an option to view theme images, by pressing X while hovering over one.
It's been awhile but as I recall melonds ran like crap until I turned on jit recompiler and overclocked.
how do you install flycast? i cant get dream cast games to play on retroarch for whatever reason
good video dude, installed checkpoint cuz of you. you should download homebrew shop if you havent yet. wanted to ask how youre using a dualshock controller? would def like a tutorial on this!

I use this because it'll work in both system firmware and on emuMMC.

I downloaded Jazz Jackrabbit on my console but when I try to run the game. It crashes, can you please tell me what I’m doing wrong? I downloaded the game from the homebrew store.

@@humzakakakhel Used shops are the best place to check. But at this point it's more worthwhile trying to get an OLED with a modchip.
Heck this is a really good video, what wallpapers do you use that allow for the enlarging of game covers on the home screen??
It's a system theme, this one does the enlarging by default.

Anytime I am doing this I get a window with failure that I close and then I get a window with start software?!

dont have to have it on airplane mode
if you play online probably you will get banned so I wouldn't do it

@@youareanidiot115 I know im very late, but just in case you might wanna make a backup of your nand and store it somewhere safe. If your device ever decides to break, you might be able to restore it with your nand backup.
@@valiyar7541 i changed my mind homebrewing now because of splatoon 3 but its good that i have this knowledge now just in case i do want to homebrew my switch. i also have a new pc so that can help as well.

Super easy, just use nx theme manager.
to get themes, use themezer and to apply them use nx theme manager

Are there any homebrew games made specifically for the switch? Not ports.
lots. but mostly utilities like checking if you've blocked N-servers.

@@FinalByteGaming I have one more question; do you know what to do if I have "DS firmware was not found or could not be accessed. It should be named firmware.bin and be put into /switch/melonds"? It only happens when I try to run DSI emulation. DS emulation works without issues.
I think that it's impossible to have ds and dsi at once because of this firmware but I may be wrong.
