Grew up on sailboat in Caribbean and Bahamas.
I would go to the market, and buy a bag full, and spit the seeds overboard as I ate them.
Sometimes I could find them on an island for a beach picnic.
They can range in taste depending on ripeness.
One of my favorite food memories, and another invisible doorway into herbalism.
