I wanted to share that my M3 driver and passenger windows developed a rather annoying squeak when raising or lowering them when they were wet. I used WD-40 silicon spray to coat the rubber window trim. It eliminated the squeak. Just in case anyone else has that issue. Until next time!
Hi Sara. Thanks for the great review. A word of caution about TeslaShields floor mats. I ordered a complete package of floor mats from them for my Model 3 in October 2022. I still haven't received the product. I can't contact them because their storefront webpage now says "Opening Soon". Buyer beware.

They said the business is going from two owners to only one owner, and so it’s kind of changing over. Haha! I didn’t know I was the only to do that. Yeah, drives me INSANE when you can’t see up close clear details in something you’re considering purchasing. Thanks for the compliment! Problem is they are sold out of the model 3 ones as of yesterday. But in august they will be getting the under trunk mat back in stock. It’s currently not available due to supply chain issues.
Had mine in the trunk for 4 months now, and still very happy with it. It got a little de-formed when loaded with some heavy stone, but after a day or two it straightened itself out.

I wondered about your choice. The Model 3 is great for a small family, and mostly commuting. But, kids, like trees keep getting bigger. Then one wonders, “What was I thinking?” Then, before you know it, even more kids, soccer, baseball, gymnastics. No end to it. I like the Model Y for the occassional trip to the hardware store, able to easily transport bulky things. I expect my mileage to increase in the next few years, and I really want to travel in some confort. Still, at least you have a Tesla, and it’s a great first choice. I’m still waiting, first for delivery shortly after Thanksgiving, then shortly after Christmas, then Groundhog Day, and now oh wait! Maybe I hit Groundhog Day, and now I will be forever waiting for my deliver date! No, that wasn’t it. Now I’m up to the Fourth of July, my Birthday, maybe not. One year anniversary since ordering? I don’t know. I really just don’t know. (Yes, that’s a little desperation creeping in). I’m not desperate. Not Desperate. (Panic?). Nooo! Madness, yes, that’s it. I’m starting to lose it….
The mats are beautiful. They look so much like my 3D Maxpider floor mats, but even better because they have no logo. Enjoy your new mats. I think you will be very satisfied.
Yes, the logo and the Velcro bottom of the 3D ones is actually the reason I prefer these over theirs. I hate the logo and don’t want the Velcro to damage my floor boards. I love them! Thank you!

I'm happy with the mats I have, but if I'd seen this video first, I definitely would have gotten these instead. Really thorough review (I mean, even a heel test!!!). I’ve decided I’ll start reviewing things again, but I’m being really picky about what I review. Next I have some interior led lights coming in to review. My kids are ECSTATIC about them! 😂 Even my daughter! I started asking my 13 daughter for advice on all my car stuff and she’s actually getting into it now! Makes me so happy! I got another floor mat company that wanted me to review theirs which are really good floor mats but I didn’t like the look of them, so I asked my daughter and she was like “no way, these ones you just got (tesla shields) look way better. Don’t waste your time on the other ones. “ the other ones were tuxmat that we decided not to review.
Nice! The trunk liner covers more over the rear edges than my Tesla mat, which doesn't have the bendable seam to facilitate opening the hatch cover. The floor mats are practically identical to my 3D MAXpiders, but without the big, ugly logo. The only real difference is that mine have a kind of fuzzy velcro underneath, which adheres to the carpet, keeping them from sliding around even a millimeter. Thumbs up for you, Sara! Glad you got these! 👍 My one bit of pet-peeve advice: don't wear stilettos. I've never understood why women subject their feet to those stilts. Hahaha! 😂

Unfortunately for me, I got my M3 when there were zero floor mat options beyond the 3D MAXpiders and I didn't want the logo...so ended up getting the Tesla-branded ones. They certainly do the job, but I would have preferred the floor mats you found. I'm glad the RUclips algorithms that led me to your channel so you have a new subscriber!
These remind me of my old Taptes floor mats. The tuxmat ones provide a lot more coverage and feel like those foam mats for kids to play on, but the Velcro does pull up the carpeting. That's my only complaint.
Yeah, I looked at the Tux mat ones. They are great except for 2 things. The Velcro and I don’t like how they remind me of car seat protectors. Like I just don’t like the look of the edges. They don’t look bad, and they provide the best coverage of any mats I’ve ever seen. I just feel like they look more protective than stylish. If that makes sense. They are definitely better than the other ones I’ve seen like Tesmanian and weather tech etc. But I personally like these that I got the best. Tux mat actually reached to me to review them but I declined. Definitely a good option just not for me.

I ordered these in October of 2022 from Tesla Shields and still haven't received my Trunk and Frunk Mats. I was told that they had been restocked and that they would be shipped but I still not received them. I couldn't get a response via email and barely a response on the facebook chat site but ultimately still no response on getting the mats. Looks like I'm out of the money that I paid for this just like some other purchasers that I read reviews from

The two guys that own and started the company both live here. I actually met one of them, the one that hand tailors them, Jason. I met him after I recorded the video, but before I edited it, at Teslacon. After they design them they send out somewhere to be made. I’m not exactly sure where they send them to be made once they design them. I think he lives in Florida but I’m not sure.
My originally well fitting driver’s floor mat started to “shrink” all around their sides on my road trip to TeslaCon & Starbase from SoCal. Please update how these are after heavy use.
I purchased a set for my 2022 MY, after about 3 weeks I noticed that the driver’s side started warping quite a bit near the accelerator pedal so I had to pull the mat out. They do look good but I’m not impressed after seeing how the mat warped, looking for another brand to purchase.
They did not give me a discount code, I think they have a sale right now but I’m not sure. I usually don’t like using affiliate links because then some people think it’s a bias review because they think I just want affiliate money. BUT they might be sold out! If so, I believe they are taking pre-orders. ;)
I bought these before they were even available and had to wait. They really do fit very well. One suggestion once you get them. Don't sweat it if you don't get them perfectly aligned. Once you put your feet on them they will fall right into place. Once in you kind of forget they are there because they don't shift at all and feel like they are built in. I'm at the part with the stilletos and I'd worry about that long term, well I wouldn't but you should.
Nice!!! I’m glad you’re happy with them! I should have cleaned them better after that section of the video because it looked like scratches but since I’ve cleaned them better they actually aren’t there anymore. No divets or scratches at all or scuff marks either. I use turtle interior cleaner spray on them. I hardly wear heels anyway.
I already have mats for the passenger areas, for a car that won't be delivered until June or July. However, I do plan to get trunk and frunk mats, and these look to be top of the list.
Then wait until August to order when they have the under trunk mat back in stock;) It will be added back to the trunk set in August. They are out right now due to supply chain issues.

@@SaraJAwesome they are either out of business or frauds. I ordered back in October and did not receive anything. I have been calling and emailing them. Finally one guy Jason is saying talk to his partner Sebastian and he is not in business with him anymore. I guess I lost my money.
Ugh, that is so frustrating. Jason is the guy I met in person that is a great guy. But they have never been able to order a huge amount of floor mats from the vendor that manufactures the mats for them. I discussed this issue with them and they have been trying to fix it, but they just can’t get ahead. It’s so frustrating because they have the potential to be a great company with good people, and a great product that they created but they just can’t seem to get the company off the ground. I’m really sorry you’re having to deal with this. Other companies have now started making mats exactly the same as theirs and unfortunately those companies are going to stomp them out because they are already established companies and can provide the product way faster. It’s sad to see American start companies crushed by oversees Amazon sellers. But that’s just the way it is. I saw potential and support them 💯 but if you can’t deliver the product in a timely manner unfortunately you just won’t make it. It’s not personal it’s just business. Is this the same 3D MAXpyder custom mats, but without the logo? got those in canada for $190 CAD (but without the trunk liners) Also the backside is velcro-like, so they don't slide.
I have not actually touched a set of 3D MAXpiders, so I’m not 100% sure. But I’ve seen reviews on them and I think these are very close except for the logo and Velcro backing like you said. And I actually hate the logo and the Velcro type backs. So I prefer these. That’s not a bad price though. Do you like them?
@@SaraJAwesome I do, yes the logo is kinda annoying but, not a very big deal. The back is not actual velcro. it is just little course so it grips the carpet and not move around. I wish Tesla had thought about the same problem when designing their pet liner for the back seat. It fits perfectly but it slides allover the seat once my pup tries to move.
That’s good, I’m glad your happy with them. So does that material on the back of them pick at the carpet when you pull it out? Or does it seem like you can take the mats in and out with no picking? I can’t really tell from peoples videos. I could only hear the sound of stickiness and go by what they described. Either way, glad you’re happy;) yeah, I don’t like the Tesla ones actually. But I haven’t touched those either. Only looked.
Those are nice liners. I like how high they go up on that footrest on the driver's side. Much better than the OEMs. that thorough slippers > barefoot > high heel Test 😂

Thanks! Yes, I do! But it doesn’t match. This company is currently out of stock on the under trunk mat due to supply chain issues. They expect o get the under trunk added back the trunk and frunk mat set in August. At which time to price for trunk and frunk mat set will go up by $25 when the under trunk mat is added back to the set;)

You had me at 23 lbs of weight saving. I can't wait till my lead acid battery dies so I can get the super light lithium-ion upgrade replacement. So thanks for weighing them. That was really smart. I took my first trunk liner out and the stupid velcro messed up the felt and it never went back in. I just want to make sure these don't have velcro. I noticed the other mats didn't, so I'm assuming the trunk liner doesn't either.
NONE of them have Velcro! They all have the EXACT same backing on them. That was REALLY important to me too. My liners are already messed up. I don’t need more damage. And yeah.. I couldn’t believe the weight difference. So nice! I actually had talked more on the weight subject in the video and I cut it out because I rambled too long about the importance of weight. 😂
😂 I don’t know. Probably because it’s always dirty and not shiny;) It’s not usually in the picture for most of my videos either. I got it from Tesbros. I love it. Had it for over a year now. No issues.
Sure looks like 3DMAX, but without that tacky logo. Would never consider 3DMAX due to that eyesore, but these have a really clean look. Softer and waterproof, excellent. Did it have that under-trunk area mat? You didn't show it..
Due to supply chain issues, they currently do have have the under trunk mat. They said they will get them back in stock in August, at which time they will add it back the trunk and frunk set and the price log that set will go up $25 for the mat being included back in there. They actually just sold out of model 3 mats yesterday, but they are taking ore-orders for them now. ;) Unfortunate, but no their fault. 3D Maxpider mats are out of stock right now too.
Hi, you’re lucky that you didn’t have to go through the ordering nightmare with them. I ordered mine when I got my car and I waited about 3 months to get them. That was ridiculous! There was even a thread on a Tesla group where everyone was living the same experience. Once I got them, they had sent me the model for the pre 2021 M3, so my second row mat is dancing around the floor and has the middle passenger lip not going all the way to the edge. I sent them an email and they brushed it off saying it was the right model, which was clearly not as it didn’t even match the picture on their website. After all the lies these people said about getting the mats “in two weeks”, I gave up and stopped chasing them. The two business partners were even publicly blaming and bashing each other. The front mats look and fit great, but the company has a very shady business model where they would make you believe that you are ordering something that is in stock or that will be stocked very soon, when in reality, they are just waiting to fill a quota to begin production in China, so once your order gets through, you need to wait that a batch of orders get through to begin production, then wait for a boat to bring the mats from China to Los Angeles, then wait for customs, then for the mats to be taken to their logistics facility in another state, then for them to finally be shipped, all this while you’re waiting for supposedly a couple of weeks.
Oh no, that’s horrible.. when did this happen? Like early 2021 or late 2021? I’m going to tell them about this experience you had and make sure they are working on this and don’t let it happen to other people. I’m really sorry this happened to you, and I hope no one else has a bad experience. Thank you for sharing so that I can confront them about it.

Ohhhhh that’s not good! And I don’t know why it deleted your comment, it wasn’t in the held for review section. It does delete comments with links that are not RUclips video links though, so I don’t know if that was an issue or not. Yeah, this is horrible. I did ask the company about this and they said they have changed some things with the company so that this hopefully doesn’t happen again. There’s a lot of places having issues with supply and demand and supply chain stuff. They did tell me they had problems with this at this time and they are trying their best not to let this happen again. HOPEFULLY it does not! Hi Sara, thank you for the recommendation. I was pretty close in getting the Tesla one after spilling a whole cup of Coke in the back seat row. I have seen the Spider one back in the days, but I didn't buy it. It's ok, I placed an order for this one.
Yeah, I actually got a few complaints about the Tesla ones from the tesla website, so I think you made the right decision. Definitely clean the coke spill with a mix of water and white vinegar, 1 part vinegar 3 parts water. Pour in the spot then vacuum with a wet vacuum. Do that over and over. Then when you think you got it all, use a spray called tuff stuff (carpet cleaner in aerosol can). Spray and let it sit until foam disappears then block with white rags over and over again. Spray, let foam do it’s bubble thing, blot hard, spray agin, blot again.. the smell of vinegar will go away in a few days. Best to do when it’s warm outside so the carpet dries faster. You can also put wadded up newspaper all over the wet area and change twice a day until all moisture is gone. ;) It will be like it never happened. I use a rainbow wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

Yeah, hopefully not. But I mean you can still do this cleaning method now on that same stain;) for now since you don’t have a wet vac you should just get the tuff stuff spray and use that with a white towel over and over. You can use paper towels to blot over and over , but DONT rub with paper towels!

I have the same mats and they are great! I was originally planning to take them out when warmer weather comes but nope…they stay in! Cute shoes by the way!
Are you happy with them? Lots of people love them. I just hate the logo, the price, and the backing. But I haven’t actually touched them so I could be wrong about the backing. I thought it was kind of Velcro type and might damage floorboards if you Take them in and out a lot.
@@SaraJAwesome - I had the MaxSpider mats in my Model Y for 1 year and nothing at all with the carpeted floors. That is why when we bought my wife’s M3P I opted for the same mats again. The 3D logo is not biggie for me, but the way they grip the floor is awesome, would suggest that you apply a ceramic coatings to them to keep them easy to clean and prevent marks.

I know:( they just messaged me yesterday freaking out that they just sold out for model 3! But they said they are taking pre-orders. They also said they don’t have the under trunk mats right now because of a supply chain issue but they will finally get the under trunk mats back in August. They will be added back to the trunk set and that trunk set will go up by $25 when it includes the trunkwell mat. So if I were you I would maybe just wait a bit until they get that back. You won’t be able to buy the trunk well mat separate. These are very similar to the 3D Maxpider ones but with no logo (which I hate) no Velcro bottom, and these are cheaper. The 3D Maxpider ones are actually out right now too.
I just got my 3D Maxpider Kagu Floor Mats from Auto Anything and they're 100% identical to those. (But I paid more)😭 I could definitely see scratches from you shoes lol
They thankfully aren’t scratches, just scuff marks from the plastic heel on my shoe. They’ll come out too if I scrub harder. There wasn’t any damage to the mat at all. But I can see why you think that. I thought about scrubbing them harder but I was too lazy. Guess I should have. Yeah, I actually don’t like the 3D Maxpider ones because of the logo and I also don’t like the Velcro type backing on them. Obviously I like the price of these better too. 😂 price is always a major factor to me.
I got stoked to buy these, so imagine my disappointment when I found out they don't make them for my 2022 Model S LR. I would definitely buy these if they made them for my car.

Pretty decent floor mats there i ended up going with the brand tuxmat for mine the side walls run up the whole side of the center console and same for the back side of the back floor mat but those r good too i like how snugg yours are
Very nice! So do you leave them to clean them? Like even with spills and stuff or can you take them out and hose them off? And do they for snug in the bottom corners?

Yeah these are actually probably the same as the 3D MAX SPIDERMANs (funny weird name fun). lol Very easy to clean, premium look. Looking gorgeous as usual.
Sorry:( yes, I love them. If you want some like this for a different car check 3D Maxpider. I personally like these better but those are very similar. Not sure if they sell them for other cars either though.
Thank you!!! These are very similar to the Maxpider 3D mats which are some of the most popular mats. But I prefer these because they don’t have the 3rd party logo, they don’t have Velcro on the bottom that picks at the floorboards, and they’re cheaper.

In Australia second hand teslas are selling much higher than new cars. Not sure if it's the same but you may be able to upgrade?
These look great. I kept looking for alternatives to the popular 3D mats and these seem to fit the bill! I think the 3D mats are overrated and I'm not crazy about the logo on the mat. I think this video shows a great demonstration of these and I'll probably be ordering these for my Y.

FYI, the product is good but the company is shady. DO NOT order from this company. It’s almost a month now and they still haven’t delivered my trunk/frunk mat set . Spend your $$$ with other RELIABLE company. Hope this gets included in the product being reviewed
Yes, they seem to always be back ordered. Very frustrating for a lot of people. I will say I have met the owners and they are good people trying really hard to get this company off the ground. But they have had so much trouble trying to keep these in stock. They’re trying their best, but waiting that long even it’s a great product is so irritating. I’m really sorry you’re having to deal with that. I don’t believe they are shady, but I agree 💯 that if they can’t keep them in stock…. Well, people will have to get them somewhere else. With so many companies copying their design now, they will lose their business to the competition that stole their design but can just simply supply the product faster. It’s sad really.

Sara, I know you have commented that Elon responds to messages/ emails from fans of Tesla. I want to pitch making a model three with the much cheaper batteries even with less mileage for older retirees like me who only live on social security who desperately want a Tesla 3/blue metallic/white interior to just drive around town to pick up meds and errands etc. I can’t afford 49,000 for one but i could manage $25 k to $30 k. The best way is to probably tweet on Twitter and tag @Tesla and tag @Elonmusk yes, there was suppose to be a plan for a cheaper Tesla model that was around $25,000 but now I haven’t heard any more about it. And that was about a year ago. They did change the batteries this year too. We had all hoped that would mean the cheaper car would be coming. But now I’m not so sure. You could try Direct messaging Elon musk or tesla on Twitter by following them and them sending them a message. But it will probably get lost in an ocean of messages to them. Hi Sara. Really appreciate the detailed review. Thanks for taking the time to inform us . I wanted to share that my M3 driver and passenger windows developed a rather annoying squeak when raising or lowering them when they were wet. I used WD-40 silicon spray to coat the rubber window trim. It eliminated the squeak. Just in case anyone else has that issue. Until next time!

Hi Sara. Thanks for the great review. A word of caution about TeslaShields floor mats. I ordered a complete package of floor mats from them for my Model 3 in October 2022. I still haven't received the product. I can't contact them because their storefront webpage now says "Opening Soon". Buyer beware.

Had mine in the trunk for 4 months now, and still very happy with it.
It got a little de-formed when loaded with some heavy stone, but after a day or two it straightened itself out.

I wondered about your choice. The Model 3 is great for a small family, and mostly commuting. But, kids, like trees keep getting bigger. Then one wonders, “What was I thinking?” Then, before you know it, even more kids, soccer, baseball, gymnastics. No end to it. I like the Model Y for the occassional trip to the hardware store, able to easily transport bulky things. I expect my mileage to increase in the next few years, and I really want to travel in some confort. Still, at least you have a Tesla, and it’s a great first choice. I’m still waiting, first for delivery shortly after Thanksgiving, then shortly after Christmas, then Groundhog Day, and now oh wait! Maybe I hit Groundhog Day, and now I will be forever waiting for my deliver date! No, that wasn’t it. Now I’m up to the Fourth of July, my Birthday, maybe not. One year anniversary since ordering? I don’t know. I really just don’t know. (Yes, that’s a little desperation creeping in). I’m not desperate. Not Desperate. (Panic?). Nooo! Madness, yes, that’s it. I’m starting to lose it….

Nice! The trunk liner covers more over the rear edges than my Tesla mat, which doesn't have the bendable seam to facilitate opening the hatch cover. The floor mats are practically identical to my 3D MAXpiders, but without the big, ugly logo. The only real difference is that mine have a kind of fuzzy velcro underneath, which adheres to the carpet, keeping them from sliding around even a millimeter. Thumbs up for you, Sara! Glad you got these! 👍 My one bit of pet-peeve advice: don't wear stilettos. I've never understood why women subject their feet to those stilts. Hahaha! 😂

These remind me of my old Taptes floor mats. The tuxmat ones provide a lot more coverage and feel like those foam mats for kids to play on, but the Velcro does pull up the carpeting. That's my only complaint.
Yeah, I looked at the Tux mat ones. They are great except for 2 things. The Velcro and I don’t like how they remind me of car seat protectors. Like I just don’t like the look of the edges. They don’t look bad, and they provide the best coverage of any mats I’ve ever seen. I just feel like they look more protective than stylish. If that makes sense. They are definitely better than the other ones I’ve seen like Tesmanian and weather tech etc. But I personally like these that I got the best. Tux mat actually reached to me to review them but I declined. Definitely a good option just not for me.

I was told that they had been restocked and that they would be shipped but I still not received them. I couldn't get a response via email and barely a response on the facebook chat site but ultimately still no response on getting the mats. The two guys that own and started the company both live here. I actually met one of them, the one that hand tailors them, Jason. I met him after I recorded the video, but before I edited it, at Teslacon. After they design them they send out somewhere to be made. I’m not exactly sure where they send them to be made once they design them. I think he lives in Florida but I’m not sure.

My originally well fitting driver’s floor mat started to “shrink” all around their sides on my road trip to TeslaCon & Starbase from SoCal. Please update how these are after heavy use.

I purchased a set for my 2022 MY, after about 3 weeks I noticed that the driver’s side started warping quite a bit near the accelerator pedal so I had to pull the mat out. They do look good but I’m not impressed after seeing how the mat warped, looking for another brand to purchase.
Their website is down for long time. Not sure where to order. Are they still selling for MY 2023?

I usually don’t like using affiliate links because then some people think it’s a bias review because they think I just want affiliate money. BUT they might be sold out! If so, I believe they are taking pre-orders. ;)
I bought these before they were even available and had to wait. They really do fit very well. One suggestion once you get them. Don't sweat it if you don't get them perfectly aligned. Once you put your feet on them they will fall right into place. Once in you kind of forget they are there because they don't shift at all and feel like they are built in.
I'm at the part with the stilletos and I'd worry about that long term, well I wouldn't but you should.

I should have cleaned them better after that section of the video because it looked like scratches but since I’ve cleaned them better they actually aren’t there anymore. No divets or scratches at all or scuff marks either. I use turtle interior cleaner spray on them. I hardly wear heels anyway.

I already have mats for the passenger areas, for a car that won't be delivered until June or July. However, I do plan to get trunk and frunk mats, and these look to be top of the list.
Then wait until August to order when they have the under trunk mat back in stock;) It will be added back to the trunk set in August. They are out right now due to supply chain issues.

@@SaraJAwesome they are either out of business or frauds. I ordered back in October and did not receive anything. I have been calling and emailing them. Finally one guy Jason is saying talk to his partner Sebastian and he is not in business with him anymore. I guess I lost my money.
Ugh, that is so frustrating. Jason is the guy I met in person that is a great guy. But they have never been able to order a huge amount of floor mats from the vendor that manufactures the mats for them. I discussed this issue with them and they have been trying to fix it, but they just can’t get ahead. It’s so frustrating because they have the potential to be a great company with good people, and a great product that they created but they just can’t seem to get the company off the ground. I’m really sorry you’re having to deal with this. Other companies have now started making mats exactly the same as theirs and unfortunately those companies are going to stomp them out because they are already established companies and can provide the product way faster. It’s sad to see American start companies crushed by oversees Amazon sellers. But that’s just the way it is. I saw potential and support them 💯 but if you can’t deliver the product in a timely manner unfortunately you just won’t make it. It’s not personal it’s just business. Is this the same 3D MAXpyder custom mats, but without the logo?
got those in canada for $190 CAD (but without the trunk liners)
Also the backside is velcro-like, so they don't slide.
I have not actually touched a set of 3D MAXpiders, so I’m not 100% sure. But I’ve seen reviews on them and I think these are very close except for the logo and Velcro backing like you said. And I actually hate the logo and the Velcro type backs. So I prefer these. That’s not a bad price though. Do you like them?
@@SaraJAwesome I do, yes the logo is kinda annoying but, not a very big deal.
The back is not actual velcro. it is just little course so it grips the carpet and not move around. I wish Tesla had thought about the same problem when designing their pet liner for the back seat. It fits perfectly but it slides allover the seat once my pup tries to move.
That’s good, I’m glad your happy with them. So does that material on the back of them pick at the carpet when you pull it out? Or does it seem like you can take the mats in and out with no picking? I can’t really tell from peoples videos. I could only hear the sound of stickiness and go by what they described. Either way, glad you’re happy;) yeah, I don’t like the Tesla ones actually. You had me at 23 lbs of weight saving. I can't wait till my lead acid battery dies so I can get the super light lithium-ion upgrade replacement. So thanks for weighing them. That was really smart. I took my first trunk liner out and the stupid velcro messed up the felt and it never went back in. I just want to make sure these don't have velcro. I noticed the other mats didn't, so I'm assuming the trunk liner doesn't either.
NONE of them have Velcro! They all have the EXACT same backing on them. That was REALLY important to me too. My liners are already messed up. I don’t need more damage. And yeah.. I couldn’t believe the weight difference. So nice! I actually had talked more on the weight subject in the video and I cut it out because I rambled too long about the importance of weight. 😂

Sure looks like 3DMAX, but without that tacky logo. Would never consider 3DMAX due to that eyesore, but these have a really clean look. Softer and waterproof, excellent. Did it have that under-trunk area mat? You didn't show it..
Due to supply chain issues, they currently do have have the under trunk mat. They said they will get them back in stock in August, at which time they will add it back the trunk and frunk set and the price log that set will go up $25 for the mat being included back in there. They actually just sold out of model 3 mats yesterday, but they are taking ore-orders for them now. ;) Unfortunate, but no their fault. 3D Maxpider mats are out of stock right now too.

Hi, you’re lucky that you didn’t have to go through the ordering nightmare with them. I ordered mine when I got my car and I waited about 3 months to get them. That was ridiculous! There was even a thread on a Tesla group where everyone was living the same experience. Once I got them, they had sent me the model for the pre 2021 M3, so my second row mat is dancing around the floor and has the middle passenger lip not going all the way to the edge. I sent them an email and they brushed it off saying it was the right model, which was clearly not as it didn’t even match the picture on their website. After all the lies these people said about getting the mats “in two weeks”, I gave up and stopped chasing them. The two business partners were even publicly blaming and bashing each other. The front mats look and fit great, but the company has a very shady business model where they would make you believe that you are ordering something that is in stock or that will be stocked very soon, when in reality, they are just waiting to fill a quota to begin production in China, so once your order gets through, you need to wait that a batch of orders get through to begin production, then wait for a boat to bring the mats from China to Los Angeles, then wait for customs, then for the mats to be taken to their logistics facility in another state, then for them to finally be shipped, all this while you’re waiting for supposedly a couple of weeks.
Oh no, that’s horrible.. when did this happen? Like early 2021 or late 2021? I’m going to tell them about this experience you had and make sure they are working on this and don’t let it happen to other people. I’m really sorry this happened to you, and I hope no one else has a bad experience. Thank you for sharing so that I can confront them about it.

It does delete comments with links that are not RUclips video links though, so I don’t know if that was an issue or not. Yeah, this is horrible. I did ask the company about this and they said they have changed some things with the company so that this hopefully doesn’t happen again. There’s a lot of places having issues with supply and demand and supply chain stuff. They did tell me they had problems with this at this time and they are trying their best not to let this happen again. HOPEFULLY it does not! It looks identical to the 3D MAXpider (Kagu series) that I got from Amazon for my Y. They are not cheap.

Hi Sara, thank you for the recommendation. I was pretty close in getting the Tesla one after spilling a whole cup of Coke in the back seat row. I have seen the Spider one back in the days, but I didn't buy it. It's ok, I placed an order for this one.
Yeah, I actually got a few complaints about the Tesla ones from the tesla website, so I think you made the right decision. Definitely clean the coke spill with a mix of water and white vinegar, 1 part vinegar 3 parts water. Pour in the spot then vacuum with a wet vacuum. Do that over and over. Then when you think you got it all, use a spray called tuff stuff (carpet cleaner in aerosol can). Spray and let it sit until foam disappears then block with white rags over and over again. Spray, let foam do it’s bubble thing, blot hard, spray agin, blot again.. the smell of vinegar will go away in a few days. Best to do when it’s warm outside so the carpet dries faster. You can also put wadded up newspaper all over the wet area and change twice a day until all moisture is gone. ;) It will be like it never happened. I use a rainbow wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

Yeah, hopefully not. But I mean you can still do this cleaning method now on that same stain;) for now since you don’t have a wet vac you should just get the tuff stuff spray and use that with a white towel over and over. You can use paper towels to blot over and over , but DONT rub with paper towels!

Are you happy with them? Lots of people love them. I just hate the logo, the price, and the backing. But I haven’t actually touched them so I could be wrong about the backing. I thought it was kind of Velcro type and might damage floorboards if you Take them in and out a lot.
@@SaraJAwesome - I had the MaxSpider mats in my Model Y for 1 year and nothing at all with the carpeted floors. That is why when we bought my wife’s M3P I opted for the same mats again. The 3D logo is not biggie for me, but the way they grip the floor is awesome, would suggest that you apply a ceramic coatings to them to keep them easy to clean and prevent marks.

I know:( they just messaged me yesterday freaking out that they just sold out for model 3! But they said they are taking pre-orders. They also said they don’t have the under trunk mats right now because of a supply chain issue but they will finally get the under trunk mats back in August. They will be added back to the trunk set and that trunk set will go up by $25 when it includes the trunkwell mat. So if I were you I would maybe just wait a bit until they get that back. You won’t be able to buy the trunk well mat separate. These are very similar to the 3D Maxpider ones but with no logo (which I hate) no Velcro bottom, and these are cheaper. The 3D Maxpider ones are actually out right now too.

They thankfully aren’t scratches, just scuff marks from the plastic heel on my shoe. They’ll come out too if I scrub harder. There wasn’t any damage to the mat at all. But I can see why you think that. I thought about scrubbing them harder but I was too lazy. Guess I should have. Yeah, I actually don’t like the 3D Maxpider ones because of the logo and I also don’t like the Velcro type backing on them. Obviously I like the price of these better too. 😂 price is always a major factor to me.

Pretty decent floor mats there i ended up going with the brand tuxmat for mine the side walls run up the whole side of the center console and same for the back side of the back floor mat but those r good too i like how snugg yours are

These look great. I kept looking for alternatives to the popular 3D mats and these seem to fit the bill! I think the 3D mats are overrated and I'm not crazy about the logo on the mat. I think this video shows a great demonstration of these and I'll probably be ordering these for my Y.

Yes, they seem to always be back ordered. Very frustrating for a lot of people. I will say I have met the owners and they are good people trying really hard to get this company off the ground. But they have had so much trouble trying to keep these in stock. They’re trying their best, but waiting that long even it’s a great product is so irritating. I’m really sorry you’re having to deal with that. I don’t believe they are shady, but I agree 💯 that if they can’t keep them in stock…. Well, people will have to get them somewhere else. With so many companies copying their design now, they will lose their business to the competition that stole their design but can just simply supply the product faster. It’s sad really.

The best way is to probably tweet on Twitter and tag @Tesla and tag @Elonmusk yes, there was suppose to be a plan for a cheaper Tesla model that was around $25,000 but now I haven’t heard any more about it. And that was about a year ago. They did change the batteries this year too. We had all hoped that would mean the cheaper car would be coming. But now I’m not so sure. You could try Direct messaging Elon musk or tesla on Twitter by following them and them sending them a message. But it will probably get lost in an ocean of messages to them.
