Oh and I also have one of these Sharp bad boys, It needs repair which I will do when the right pair of speakers cross my path, do you have any recommendations in the reasonably priced vintage dept? I was thinking maybe a Klipsch Heresey, or an Altec Lansing equivalent? Something with some nice comp horns is the thought.

Exactly And yet i challenge you to hear a difference with a 3000£ amplifier with your eyes closed,many have tried and failed.
